We were ecstatic with the work provided. Precise’s hard work and great attention to detail made the finished product absolutely gorgeous. They put great effort into making this job turn out beautiful. They were punctual, professional and work so neatly to protect you personal items. We are first time homeownwes and we hired Scott due to the reviews and his expertise. The crew started off strong. The crew, which consisted of 3 seasoned workers, arrived early and worked extremely hard. It was clear that they were experts and did a fantastic job removing the wall paper, repairing the walls and installing new molding. Scott made the suggestion of installing extra shoe rail on the floors since the hard wood floors were not finished against the wall which, it looks great. Unfortunately, Scott was not consistent with his professional advice, before starting the work, we weren't told that the job would damage our newly finished hard wood floors. We are left with scratches and paint splatter on our floors. We were also not informed during the job that we are a the top end of the price quote since all the walls were skim coated. Lastly the Den was originally going to get painted and we decided against it to keep costs down. Scott still went ahead and installed new doors in the den which looks horrible. We would have appreciate the suggestion to leave the doors alone until the den was painted and renovated. Additionally corners were cut at the end, crew worked until 8PM to finish job to start another job the next day. Scott did come back to fix initial unfinished work, calk base molding and paint closet. I continued to see flaws in the work over the next few weeks. Some of the moldings were not calked properly. One of the doors is also uneven and our stair railing was not put back properly, so it ripped out of our newly finished wall, almost injuring my 5 year old son .I am waiting on reply from my text yesterday to see if the imperfections will be addressed. I am disappointed in how the job ended and will not use this company for future.

Did excellent work, crew worked well as a team. The walls that were skim coated came out perfect. Painting was very neat.

After they were done there were areas that had been missed by paint brush. Areas on steps has noticeable spots where they resanded and repainted . Even though there was drop cloths there was a lot of spots on new wood stairs and tile floor. Didn't clean up at all . Painters only spoke Spanish

Job went well. My wife and I are thrilled with the result, it looks like a new home. Scott was honest and fair with his pricing, no surprise costs after the wallpaper and paneling came down, just paid what I was quoted before the job started. Lou and crew were at the house for 4 days and were polite and professional straightening up every night before they left. Both Scott and Lou checked with me before the job was complete to make sure I was happy with the progress and outcome. Would definitely have them back for other projects.

I had a major disaster in the Kitchen of my tenant-occupied house, due to a burst pipe. So I turned to "Precise painting" contractor Scott, who had done previous smaller jobs earlier for me, to great satisfaction. This particular job, was however much bigger, as I needed to completely change the sheet rock of the wet kitchen walls, change the flooring in the adjacent dining room and living room, replacing the moulding, fixing the electrical appliances, re-painting etc. This plumbing disaster was a nerve-wracking experience for me as I had tenants living in the house.Luckily I had used Precise painting for earlier smaller tasks, and asked Scott if they could do this job for me. They not only did a great job in this effort, but most importantly they took up the job immediately on the same week due to its urgency, they took care of moving my tenant's furniture (and putting it back), and after finishing the job, took care of cleaning up and removing all the flooring trash. In addition, he set me up with a good plumber for a plumbing issue. Their price is also lowest from what I have seen. Also, for my few experiences with Scott, he is extremely trustworthy. He has always kept his word, and got quality work completed on time from his crew. In summary, I cannot say enough good words about "Precise Painting", and I would highly recommend anybody to call them if they need a great contractor. Thank you to Scott, and the Precise team!!!

paint started chipping after 6 months leaving bare wood surface

Scott was able to schedule the job on a rather short notice and his team did a superb job getting it done in the time frame we needed. Very satisfied with the result and highly recommend.

Scott returned my call for an estimate immediately and showed up the next day. He was able to compute the cost at that time, which I felt was fair. I hired him based on the reviews I had seen on Angie's list and because I felt that his price was fair and his many suggestions as to renovations were helpful. We set a date of 7/20 and his crew of 3 men, Lou, Chris, and Chris, showed up on time. They were always clean, courteous, and professional and accommodated my requests. They worked quickly, in an organized manner, and always cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day. The results were excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends.

They were fine. They came in a very short period of time. I didn't have to wait very long for them to come. They did the job, 1-2-3. They did a good job. It was neatly done. He was efficient. He came and gave an estimate and was able to schedule me quickly, so I liked that. Other companies, you can wait for months.

I didn't use them because their estimate was a lot higher than the company I ended up using. It was about 40 percent higher than the others. Their estimate was about $7,000 and I got it done from somebody else for $4,500. They were professional. He came and was so polite and nice. But I shopped around and just found it cheaper. He contacted me by email and asked me if I was going to get the work done through him, but I told him I got a better estimate. He wanted to do the work for the $4,500, but it was too late, because I had already signed the contract with the other painter.

Deal was for 3 painters 21 hours of interior painting. Fine print was for all prep work to be provided by vendor. 7/21/14 Precise Painting arrived on site for estimate of work to be done and I was told I needed to provide the paint and that the deal was for 3 painters @ 7 hours each. Because the work was to be performed in a small bathroom, I felt 3 painters in one room for 7 hours was a waste and I requested a refund.

It was a low bid. I just wasn't comfortable using them. they were nice, they are professional. I think they are more used to commercial work rather than residential. They were on time and the were polite and professional.

Owner Scott promptly returned my call inquiring about an estimate. He was flexible with scheduling the job. A few unanticipated issues came up during the job, and he worked out an acceptable solution. The crew, (Lou, Chris and Chris) were very professional and easy to deal with.

Scott was very responsive with the estimate, even coming out late evening to accomodate my work schedule. Since he knew we wanted work done as soon as possible in our new home, he had a team start on July 4th and work over the weekend to get it done. A crew of 3 men arrived promptly every morning, were neat, professional and knowledgable. They fixed the holes in the walls and spackled where needed. Scott did the final walk-thru and we showed him where there were small touch-ups that the men were working on (which they did without any hesitation). I highly recommend them, and may be using them in the future for other home projects.

They came on time the day promised and worked neatly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the job and would highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable. I obtained 5 estimates for the work. Used high quality paint.

Scott was responsive to my calls and came out as scheduled to give us an estimate. He was knowledgable and offered great advice about the work I wanted done. Althought I hired another company that gave us an estimate that was more within our budget, we thought Scott was very professional.

We had an appointment for an estimate last week and, on the morning of the appointment, we got a phone call that "Something came up and it has to be postponed". We were told we would get a call to reschedule when he got back to the office. Never heard from him again. We are in Smithtown and I guess he does not want to go that far out. Only a guess. Also, we notice that on his web site he has the Better Business logo but, according to the BBB web site, he is not even a member. Look twice before hiring. In reply to Scott's comments we never spoke to any secretary, only to Scott and we never called him on the day of the appointment, he called us to cancel and never called back. Still didn't explain the BBB logo on the website. We are a BBB member and we pay quite a bit of money to have the right to display the logo.

I could not have asked for a better job. All four crew members were professional and courteous. All aspects of the job were performed in an excellent manner. They were very neat and paid attention to every detail. The moldings were cut perfectly and you cannot see the seams at all. They also did a great job in patching the sheet rock wherever needed. Anything I asked of a crew member was immediately taken care of. They left the house broom clean and no paint spills. I recommend this contractor to anyone looking for a beautiful job !
