Best Way Chimney

I called Best Way Chimney because I had water entering my house due to improper initial installation of my chimney. Linda in the office was extremely helpful and courteous. Roger rearranged his schedule to inspect the problem on the same day because rain was forecast for later in the week. He thoroughly explained what the issue was and gave options on the best way to proceed to fix the problem. They arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and effectively. I was very pleased with the interactions, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They showed up on time right at the beginning of the window, a little early even. Looked at the chimney and told us it wasn't dirty enough to need a cleaning! What an honest company. Also spent time explaining to us what we could do to get less smoke in the house. Will use Best Way Chimney next year when we do require a cleaning!

The whole process went very smoothly. Roger was a pleasure to deal with. Severe wind overnight caused my chimney to practically blow over! The heating company advised me to turn off my heat as a precaution against carbon monoxide being backed up into the house. In a panic, I called Best Way, having seen great reviews on Angie's List. Roger responded from his cell phone and assured me he would take care of it today. They showed up when they said they would, assessed the situation and explained it to me in detail. When I agreed to his fair price, he traveled quite a distance to get the parts he needed and then back, in order to make sure the job would be completed the same day, ensuring that I wouldn't go without heat. He said that the chimney comes with a lifetime guaranty, so it is likely that I won't need him again, but I wouldn't hesitate to be a repeat customer and to recommend him to anyone/everyone I know.

Spectacular. I expected that they would come and inspect the chimney, and then have to order parts for the repair - so I had 90 minute window for them to come and do that. They found the problem (damper was bent and hitting the inside of the chimney), and ran back to the shop to get a new damper - and then came back to the house and fixed it, all within that 90 minute window.

I contacted Best Way Chimney through Angies List and they emailed me back immediately. We spoke on the phone and they said they could come by and inspect the chimney and if it needed repair we can take it from there. Roger showed up on time and performed all the necessary work for the price advertised on Angies List. Roger was very professional and was pleasant to deal with. I would strongly recommend calling this company first, if you want someone honest to inspect your chimney.

They were honest m told me I deserved a credit bc I didn't need a sweep bc it was clean ... They were prompt ...honest and knowledgeable... If only all businesses were run this way... I will b the first to recommend them to anyone I know

I made some inquiries on Angie's list and was given a very fair price by Best Man Chimney. I contacted Roger's office, set up an appointment, Roger confirmed appt. day before. My burner contractor had made a request and Roger reached out to him to discuss his needs. When I thought I would not make it home to see the final product, Roger was kind enough to text me photos of the work. I did make it home, found Roger to be very professional and they were very neat and cleaned up after their work. Would recommend highly. Thank you Angie's list!!!

Service was quick and effective. Cleaned the chimney and diagnosed an old damper which needed replacing. Damper was replaced in a week and has a lifetime guarantee!

Called before he came on scheduled day as I requested, and arrived early. Very polite and friendly. He checked the fireplace chimney, and said it was completely clean! He didn't have to do anything and he didn't charge me. It was wonderful to find such an honest professional, and I would not hesitate to use him in the future or recommend him. A+ in my book!

Roger came out to provide an estimate within a day of my call. First let me say that my basement wall, where the furnace vents, was badly cracked and crumbling. While here doing a free estimate they took the time to cement the wall and secure the vent. The job was scheduled within 5 days but due to pending inclement weather, Roger asked if he could come a day earlier to avoid any rain delays. They not only installed the new liner and cap, caulked many of the cracks along the chimney, but cleaned out my burner where the old liner had been depositing debris. They worked quickly and neatly and did a great job. Roger and his partner are gentlemen and a pleasure to have dealt with. I will recommend Best Way to anyone in the future. Thanks so much to them!

We asked for an estimate and they showed up on the date and time promised. Next, Roger (the technician) actually inspected the chimney on the roof and in the basement before recommending needed service. He showed us the damaged section of our flue. Unlike other companies we interviewed he didn't recommend extras we didn't need, like chimney insulation. And Best Way didn't hound us with follow up calls after the inspection visit like another company did. Finally, on the repair date they showed up on schedule, did the repair as promised - at the price they quoted and cleaned up all debris.

Very courteous, responsive to my needs and very professional. On time and a very fair price. Roger is someone you can trust. He is the owner AND he returns calls when needed!! Couldn't ask for a better service provider. I look forward to having him back when I need a cleaning. He is now going to be the point person for anything to do with the chimney. As far as I am concerned I will remain his customer. He was the first and last company I called. No reason for other quotes! Once a good service provider comes to my home and does the right thing, that provider has a customer for life!

The company came when they said they would and installed the chimney liner quickly and efficiently. They showed the liner to me before and after installation. Everything was done professionally.

Our oil chimney didn't have any liner and need to be up to code. The crown of Chimney was cracked and needed some repair. Pieces of brick fragments fell to the ground. We are concerned about having any other further damage to the Chimney in cases of bad weather. When Best Way came in.. They were very professional. They show us a picture of the inside of the Chimney and explained to us of the consequences of not having a liner in the Chimney. They also checked the gas Chimney said it doesn't really need any repair but one brick had to be replace that came off. After cleaning, putting new liner in and repairing the crown, they refilled any open holes in both Chimney.They gave us warranty on repairs in case of bad weather. It a total relief that there honesty in a job well done!

It went exceptionally well. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond what we had paid for. The were very truthful and trustworthy and didn't try talking me into additional uncessary services.

I had another company come to clean and inspect my chimney 2-years ago and they recommended over $2,000 in repairs/upgrades. Roger came and inspected both chimneys and told me no more cleaning was needed since I now have natural gas. All I needed was a stainless steel liner to bring one of them up to code. He installed it same day, as well as completed some minor pointing for half of what the other company quoted.

i met with roger in november and he was detailed and professional. i asked him to take a picture of the crown and he showed me the needed repair. he and a worker came and did the job on 5/1. all went well and he said i didn't need to waterproof my entire chimney as one other contractor said i did. he showed my how to use the lower latch to open if i used the fireplace. great job, he has lots of very good reviews.

I spent $79. They were prompt and they left the area clean. The staff was also professional.
