Description of Work: Checked two chimneys, gas fireplace and sealed a crack on the outside of the brick chimney. Gave us a recommendation for fireplace maintenance and other valuable information.

Description of Work: The tech Roger arrived onsite and inspected by chimney/boiler and informed me that because I have a gas boiler and my chimney was properly lined that no sweep/clean was necessary. Didn't charge me anything. I appreciate the techs honesty. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: They installed the stainless steel chimney liner. They did very fine work. Everything was nice and clean when they were done. I was not home and my wife said she had no problems at all. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: Roger actually suggested that I have someone look at the boiler first. And that was right on target because that was exactly what I needed. It was a serious situation and he diagnosed the issue. He didn't get to do the service but did the right thing.

We hadn't used the fireplace more than a few times since the last cleaning, and the company without knowing that information, after inspecting the flue, advised that there was no need to clean it. I commend the company for their honesty as they could have easily performed an unnecessary service and charged for it. They also did not recommend unneeded additional services or accessory purchases, as some chimney cleaning services do. | |

Description of Work: re-brick furnace chimney where needed near the top and re-mortar where needed; additionally re-mortared wood burning chimney due to harsh winter, Gratuitously added epoxy to roof of pool shed in two places preventing leaks. | |More than 1/2 cheaper than another Angie's List chimney contractor with outstanding professionalism and punctuality. Loved this contractor.

Description of Work: We have had a 3 yr ongoing problem with a leak around our chimney. Roger from Best Way was the first to suggest an analysis of where the leak was coming from by using a methodical approach with the water hose. He and his partner were here for about 45 min, localized the problem and advised how to fix it. They charged us nothing and referred us to a reputable mason to fix it. They were terrific and and we would call them again in a heartnbeat. They are the go to company for leaks in the roof or chimney.

Description of Work: Replaced a chimney cap that had fallen off in a storm. Came and did the job for a reasonable price without trying to sell us a bunch of extra stuff we didn't need. Would use them again for a bigger job.

Description of Work: They installed a stainless steel liner in the chimney because the liner original to the house was crumbling away. Roger gave me an estimate and did the job the next week. He was polite, explained the installation, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. No problems and everything was done in an hour.

Description of Work: I recently purchased a house that my guys renovated and have listed for sale. Best Way cleared out the fireplace flue that was so full of debris that you couldn't open up the damper. Roger, the owner of Best Way, then cleaned the flue and installed a stainless steel cap on top. |There's a little more to the story -- I was undecided as to whether or not to have the fireplace flue cleaned on the just mentioned flip-house. I had called Best Way to clean the flue on the wood-burning stove in my personal home. Roger inspected it and told me that it did not need cleaning, apparently because I burn the wood at very high temperatures. He said there was no charge! I then decided to have him clean the flue on the house described earlier. |I like the fact that you deal with the owner directly, he does the work. Great work, great guy.

Description of Work: Roger and John arrived on time. They evaluated my chimney quickly and professionally. They determined the repair would require the installation of a stainless steel sleeve and cap. Despite a constant rain, they performed the repair quickly and to my complete satisfaction. When they left they completely cleaned all areas affected by the repair. I found Roger and John to be extremely professional, friendly and competent. I would not hesitate to use Best Way to deal with any future chimney problems I may encounter.
