Best Way Chimney

Best Way provided an estimate and scope of work the same an another estimate we received. It was easily the best value. The workmen did the job in a very reasonable amount of time and the work and professionalism was top grade. I have already recommended them to a neighbor who inquired. Best Way is the 'best'.

They showed up right on time and were very professional. The checked out the work that needed to be done and suggested a couple of improvements that I hadn't thought of. They said they had enough materials to do the job and said they could do it immediately. I said ok and they did the work in under an hour. They also removed an old, unused antenna from my chimney. Although I thought $425 was a lot for an hour of work, I was very happy with the result and grateful that I didn't have to schedule another visit. I also received an itemized bill.

Roger and his asssistant spent the initial visit surveying the situation and then gave a vialble solution to the problem. He gave me an estimate for the work needed. Later he called to set up an appointment to perform the work. I was called the night before the appointment to confirm. They showed up and performed the work. The work was performed as described in a professional manner. I was impressed with the fact that the owner was present and performed the work along with his assistant. I chose this company based upon the postive feedback they got on Angie's list from other customers. I would definitely reccomend them to others for chimney repair and maintenance without any reservation.

I got about 7 real estimates for this job. Best Way was not the cheapest but they showed up on time for the estimate and seemed to know what they were doing. They also included the whole job (such as the liner) that some of the other services didn't even at a higher price. They did the whole job as outlined, were quick and cleaned up afterwards.

They were amazing. They were nice. One of the guys came in the house and played with my dog. They were kind and it was at that moment we decided that they were the ones for the job. They were on time, showed up when they said they were going to show up, and they were great.

I had a great experience with them. They were very good. They did the full job and were very polite. I was very pleased. Their estimate came in lowest.

Roger came by and gave us a free estimate. Explaining in detail what was wrong with our chimney and what needed to be done. He was not pushy and I felt confident with the information and price he was giving me in order to make a decision of the work and time it could be done. I made my decision to go with Best Way Maintenance and from when Roger and his assistant arrived to do the work. Roger was informing me about the items he was using and where he was going to put them in order for the chimney repair. To make a long story short, overall it was good we had the repair because when Roger went up on alongside the chimney he saw the chimney was caving in from the top.

After meeting Roger everything was excellent. He was the only contractor who provided pictures of the inside of my chimney. He took time to explain why I have a draft and how to seal. I trust that the work will be done well.

The job was done quickly and efficiently and they were immaculate. They arrived on time and explained everything in detail.

Best Way's Roger Hoelderlinderlin and his assistant John came over first for just an estimate. He was extremely professional and gave me a written estimate. He explained all the options and gave me prices for everything. I had a problem with my chimney cap and I was looking to install a wood burning stove. I also wanted him to inspect my gas boilers liner. He spent a lot time explaining everything and was not pushy or giving me a hard sell. He showed me for myself exactly what he didn?t like about the previous installed liner, how it was undersized and of cheap quality. There was no pressure, Roger said he could make it work if I wanted and he could just redo connections but I was so impressed with his knowledge and far price that I decided to have him reline the entire gas boiler side. When doing the job he found newspaper stuffed around liner, used as insulation! This is HIGHLY flammable and I am so glad I had him do the liner over. After that he answered numerous questions about options on purchasing a wood insert for my fireplace. Once I decided on a wood burning insert he pick that up and installed that flawlessly. This included installing another 6 inch lifetime guarantee liner. I am extremely happy with the work. This guy knows how to treat his customers. We are very lucky to have found him, thanks AngiesList and thanks again Roger.

The service was excellent! Roger not only was prompt and courteous but made sure he educated us through the entire process.

The work done was excellent and you can not tell where the new bricks were installed. They were neat and protected my central air conditioning compressor which is right next to the chimney. If I ever need chimney work again I would definitely use this company.

I asked them to inspect my chimney to determine whether or not a cleaning was necessary. Another company had been here a day earlier and told me that I needed over fifteen hundred dollars worth of repairs. Best Way was recommended to me by a friend and I am ever so glad and grateful that they were able to come so quickly. I did not need the work which the other company told me was imperative. Best Way showed me the work that is necessary ( a few hundred dollars worth) and recommended that I have the work done soon. They provided me with an estimate and said that they could do the repair work. They also suggested that I call them in a year or two for another checkup. They did not charge because I did not need a cleaning. A nice, friendly, wonderful, professional company to do business with. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

They had a good price. I have no complaints. We had a fire, so we switched from oil to gas. They had a low price. It's hard for me to tell the quality of work because I don't use the chimney much.

This is the second time (and second house) we have used this firm. We were so pleased with the work they had done for us previously (lining a 50+ year old chimney), that when we were renovating our new house, we told our contractor that we would take care of the chimneys through Best Way. Roger and his crew are extremely professional and punctual. Work is first rate, they do only what is necessary. Prices are reasonable. In addition to the work for which they were hired, Roger also identified that the roofing contractor had failed to properly flash the chimney, which allowed us to go back to our contractor (who had not checked this) and get it repaired. We would highly recommend Best Way.

Once they arrived, they immediately looked at the chimney and provided an estimate. They did the work professionally and kept everything clean. They even took down the vine around the chimney. We definitely will use them again in the future. Thanks for their great work.

I was hesitant to light a fire in my fireplace before getting it cleaned and inspected. I just moved in a year ago and they had put sheet rock over both sides of the fireplace. Roger came and did an inspection and noticed that everything looked great and that it didn't need to be cleaned at all. He didn't even charge us! I will definitely use him when our chimney does need a cleaning next winter. Excellent service, THANKS!

Kept appointment on time. Examined chimney taking pictures of interior on his phone which he showed me. Explained that the broken liner would be cleaned out and repalced with an aluminum one. Damaged top of chimney exterior (brick) repaired, new cap installed. Gave me the itemized price in writing, Came back in an hour (picking up material) and with his helper completed the job later that afternoon. Cleanup was neat and complete, interior fireplace included. Very courteous and professional experience.

The Best Way service men arrived on time and got right to work. They worked diligently, finished promptly and cleaned up after the service was complete. My repairman fully explained what he was doing as it was happening and checked in with us throughout. My chimney looks great and I no longer have to get regular cleanings or worry about CO2 leaks. I am satisfied and I feel the price was fair.
