Best Way Chimney

Roger came promptly and gave me an estimate which was fair and honest. He took the time to walk me through everything that was needed. My appointment was made right on the spot and he gave me my estimate. Roger returned on 3-4-13 @ approximate time schedule, he did the job and performed everything as said. Roger also gave me an estimate of 1300.00 for all the services being performed, he only charged me 1100.00, due to the fact that I am having a fireplace installed also and he said that it would be better that when that is done he would come back finish the repair and capping of the chimney, and I would pay the rest of the 200.00owed. They are honest clean and prompt, highly recommend. Thanks Roger!!!!

I thought it was very nice of them to let me know nothing needed to be done instead of just doing the work and charging me. It was nice that they gave me their professinoal opinion even though it meant not making any money. They did what they were supposed to do.

They did a great job in being honest and letting us know that no work needed to be done immediately. They told us the work could wait until the summer. My husband was impressed and said they did a good job. They were very professional.

Roger was awesome. Pointed out stuff that i could do to help protect and repair some minor cracks at the base. Was very informative and helpful. Also took a picture and showed me some repair that needed to be done on the actual top of the chimney. I will calling him in the spring to come back and repair it. Was a pleasure to have found him on here!

This company was completely professional. I received a call from the company the morning they were scheduled to come so that they could ask me a few questions as to what I was specifically looking for. He spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining that it would be a waste of money for me to replace the current cap (due to the fact that I am looking to install a gas insert fireplace). However, I explained to him that I would need to do something with the current cap because I was getting birds in my chimney/fireplace. Later that day, he arrived at my house and within 15 minutes, went up and checked me cap, at which time he told me that the cap wasn't damaged, it was simply open. He saved me the $165 that another company wanted to charge me for a new cap.

I am very pleased with the work that Best Way did. My chimney cap blew off during Hurricane Sandy so I needed that fixed, plus I was told by a friend that my clay liner had cracked. Best Way came out on New Year's Eve to give me an estimate and wound up removing a fairly large nest that was clogging my chimney so my daughter and I would be safe until I got the cap replaced (they took no payment). I got an estimate for a new liner, new cap, and to repair the crown. My appointment was for Saturday, 1/26/13. They called Friday night to give me a window and called again Saturday morning to verify. All the work was completed as per the estimate (he wound up having to remove another nest!) and he left everything neat and clean. I definitely recommend them and would use them again if needed.

The men were professional, clean and did a very good job. When they pointed out that we needed new chimney caps (which we knew, but had been putting off), we agreed. They gave us a very competitive price and installed two caps. The caps look good and keep debris and animals out. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend this company.

We were very fortunate in that we only experienced minor damage during Hurricane Sandy. My main concern was that both of my chimney caps blew off, and while we were able to retrieve them basically undamaged, I needed someone to put them back on properly. Of course I went straight to Angie's List and called Best Way Chimney. The appointment was made so that I could be there on a Saturday - only a few days after I called them. Two very nice young men came and replaced my chimney caps very quickly. They also checked the outside of the chimneys to ensure there was no other damage. They were polite, accommodating and efficient. The cost was very reasonable. I will certainly call this company again.

The men showed up promptly and were very friendly and professional. They did the cleaning work plus inspection as promised and told us everything looked good. They did not try to sell us anything further.

Roger came with another man and examined my chimney. Roger took a photo of the top of my chimney and recommended that I have it repaired and have a cap put on top. He told me my chimney was fine and did not need any a cleaning! He gave me a written estimate of the cost to repair the top of my chimney and suggested I have it done in the spring. He did not charge me for the examination and estimate. The men were prompt, polite and profession

They cleaned the chimney from the inside of the house so they did not need to take the cap off. They protected the surrounding area and the job took about a half hour to three quarters of an hour.

Bought a new house and had them come to inspect/clean the chimney. It turns out the old owners had installed gas boilers on the cheap, and hadn't lined the chimney correctly. The rep from Best Way Chimney showed us what was wrong, explained it clearly, and gave us some options on how to proceed. We went with his recommendation to install a new chimney liner, but didn't feel pressured or forced -- just that it made the most sense. We were very happy, and would use them again.

Tom & John of Best Way Chimney arrived at 11:00AM on 12/15/2012. I accepted their quote for $1,050. Tom & John then went to pick up 22 feet of stainless steel liner. Liner & chimney cap were completely installed by 2:00PM on 12/15/2012. Complete job took ONLY!!! 3 hours from original quote to completion. Job was done to perfection & all work materials were cleaned up & removed before Tom & John left. I would strongly recommend Best Way Chimney for a professional job at the right price

Very professional and the work performed was done well from the inspection to the subsequent replacement of our chimney caps. With all of the contractor and repair horror stories around this hurricane, it's nice to see a business that is honest and has integrity. We would recommend and use them again.
