Description of Work: Excellent service all around, starting with the fact that they called me shortly after I purchased the "deal", to set up an appointment. I have had other deals expire because I did not act quickly enough, but Best Way helped make sure I got the best value. The owner was courteous, patient, and willing to explain his work to my satisfaction. He also gave me advice that will save me money in the future. I highly recommend Best Way Chimney.

Description of Work: Roger came over promptly and replace my chimney which was knocked down by hurricane Sandy. I got a new housing unit, flashing,, cap and a new inner lining. Without this chimney I would would have not been able to start my new boiler to allow carbon monaxicide fumes to escape. He worked into the night to get me going. After 17 days of no heat I really appreciated his work. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Roger installed a stainless steel liner from the top of my chimney to the basement, where the boiler and hot water heater are located. Two years ago, we had the new high efficiency units installed, but the gasses corroded the mortar inside the chimney, forcing me to vacuum the debris 3x per year. It was suggested to us that we power vent the units out the side of the house by breaking a hole through the cement block, moving pipes and electric, for approx. $1750, leaving us w/o hot water in a power outage. After reading reviews on Angie's list, I called Roger. He assessed the problem, offered the solution, and completed the work. He was clean and efficient, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Description of Work: On January 28, 2012 I was fortunate to have picked one of your providers. I received an e-mail offering a Professional Chimney Sweep Plus 18 Point Inspection ten day prior. I made a call to the provider (Bestway Chimney) and left a message which was promptly returned and a date was scheduled. The night before the appointment I received a call to confirm said appointment. This showed me a professional manner. The gentlemen arrived exactly on time (as scheduled) an proceeded to do an exceptional job. There was no pressure to add any additional expense. He did provide me with information that showed I needed some additional work on my chimney but said I could call when I was ready to go forward with said work. I truly appreciated his business manner and I also know that what he recommended was indeed needed to be done. Anyone who needs to have this type of work performed would be very pleased with his professionalism and his neat work manner. I will be setting an appointment with him for the Spring to follow up on my chimney repair.

Description of Work: I purchased two big deal specials from angieslist to have our chimneys inspected and cleaned. Roger showed up on time and was very thorough and knowledgeable. He even gave us a referral for a HVAC tech and took the time to call in to make us an appointment. He was very professional and his staff and him worked quickly an cleanly. I would highly reccommend him to anyone!

Description of Work: Today I met Roger from Best Way Chimney. I had an appointment for a fireplace chimney clearning. He came and checked the fireplace and reported to me that the flu was clean and did not need to be cleaned. I am so happy to have met someone that was honest and helpful. I will recommend him to my friends.

Description of Work: Service was for chimney/fireplace cleaning. I contacted Best Way and got a call back within hours. I was able to schedule an appointment within 5 days for a chimney cleaning/inspection.They called twice to confirm the appt and showed up right at the start of the window they had given me. Roger was extremely professional and explained what he was doing. He inspected the fireplace, downstairs furnace area, and outside chimney. He also suggested what to do with the hearth repair (which we hadnt specifically asked for but need to do). After 20 min, he explained that everything was clean and in order and didnt charge me! Usually, services charge for their time, so this was very unexpected and appreciated. I highly recommend.

Description of Work: Best Way Maintenance was very honest and helpful. It turned out I didn't need a chimney cleaning but the worker pointed out some things that either my heating oil supplier could fix (he thought it would be part of my service contract with them) or his company could do. He then provided a detailed estimate of the cost of Best Way were to do the work. He was polite and respectful, and didn't charge me a dime for the service call.

Description of Work: The company inspected my chimney and told me that I didn't even need a cleaning. I was shocked at the honesty and integrety of this company and I would recommend them highly. They alerted my husband to a potential problem and told hm what to watch for stating that it did not need to be done unless he noticed the problem. I was impressed with their honesty. Excellent excellent. Even though they inspected the chimney they did not charge us which was a pleasant shock. Bravo

Description of Work: They came in for a free evaluation of my chimney/fireplace, and a cleaning if needed. They determined that my fireplace and chimney were in good condition and did not need a sweep.
