ANDY'S CARPENTRY LLC

It was one individual. He was very informative and always on time. Overall he is a great guy and did great work. I will use him again in the future.

I disliked the fact that he showed up when I wasn't expecting him. He would tell me that he will be there at a certain time; but he came later. He found hurt himself, which I understand, and he had to lay in, then I said I would wait for a good delay. He then informed me when he was better. Then 6-7 weeks later, I called him to ask what the story is, and if he is feeling better than he can start the work, or should I look for someone else. I sent two or three emails before I talked to him. Then I didn't realize that when he did the deck and did the sparkling; he left the stuff in the garage. He didn't tell me it was in the garage that had to be thrown out, or he was supposed to throw out; so I was very disappointed with that. The work was nice; but the other things tore me off from giving him a higher rating. I didn't get any other pricing. He told me one time, and he showed up on another time.

Andy is a gentleman, pure and simple. He was on time, had all the equipment and supplies on hand, and was ready to start work on schedule. Throughout the process, Andy explained each step, offered multiple options, and provided a detailed account of everything he did. If you want the job done right the first time, Andy is your man. I would not say that Andy is cheap, but as we all know, you get what you pay for. It's been two weeks since Andy completed our project and everything is holding up just fine. I plan to use Andy again the near future

Andy was very punctual and on time... did a very good job .. very professional ..and did not leave till the job was complete. even though we started at 7.30 pm (after we get back from work), he made sure he left only after completion. I was impressed with his knowledge and skills and will definitely get some more work done from him in the near future, if need be.

Andy was on time and put in a long day on each day he worked for us. He was here for 3 days, and allways cleaned up at the end of each day. All work was of great quality, and he offered suggestions that were helpfull. He has a very good work ethic and does quality work at an hourly rate. If you want fast and cheap, and don't care about quality you should look elsewhere. His rate is reasonable for his skill level. He is a good find and I would recommend him. He's also very good with dogs!

Arrived on time. Pleasant. Called me over twice so that I could see the steps, ask questions, and have input - which I really liked. Cleaned up after self.

I will continue to use this company in the future.

What I liked about him was he was very thorough and prompt.

I wasn?t extremely happy with him. Evidently he didn?t have too much knowledge in hanging closet doors. He looked like he was a very good carpenter, but I didn?t think that he really knew the procedures to hang a sliding closet door. I thought that the price was a little bit high, but I am not sure.

He?s wonderful. He's more than fair and he's a wonderful man. He is an efficient worker and he's amazing. He's very skilled and he's fantastic. I would absolutely use him again.

Very well. He came looked at the job to be done. Told me the price of his services, we reached agreement and he hung the mirror. There were no problems, the job went fine. When he finished I asked about another job I have to have done; a window shash that needs to be changed, but it can only be done when the weather is warmer because the window will be out for a time and that job is subject to the weather conditions.

Went very well. I emailed Andy to see if he was interested in doing my job. He replied he was and set up a time for him to survey what needed to be done. At that time I mentioned I was having a problem with rain leaking behind the front storm door. Andy looked at it and immediately saw that the installer had failed to trim down a metal piece on the edge of the door, which caused it not to seat properly and provide a seal at the door's edge. He said filing down that small projection would solve the problem. Andy arrived on the agreed day and did the installation of the drapery rods. He is an extremely careful and meticulous worker. He places drop cloths and is careful to clean up any mess. He then went about adjusting the two storm doors. Trimmed down the edge of the front door, and then recaulked it to provide a good seal. He also made some adjustment to the rear storm door which also allowed it to seat properly. Overall, I would highly recommend Andy- he is a gentlemen and takes great pride in his work.

Andy arrived promptly and worked steadily. After preparing the room with plastic barriers to minimize the spread of dust, and laying down drop cloths, he removed the damaged interior tape, spakle, and drywall, and made the area look like new by using a fiberglass mesh tape and a plaster compound. I was impress with the way Andy used a power vac. directly at the surface while he was sanding to keep the dust down. Andy used blowers to dry the area over night, and he returned the next day to finish the job. Andy went on the roof and removed debris that got under the skylight area. He calked and tarred the exterior to prevent further leakage. While he was here, Andy also repaired broken linoleum floor tiles in the kitchen area. By lifting and bracing the stove, he did not have to move it out, thus preventing further damage. Since the tiles I had saved in case I ever needed them were old and the glue was not very sticky, Andy added an adhesive that worked well. The area fixed on the steps fits perfectly. Andy is very professional. He worked a total of 10 hours over a span of a day and a half. He charges $55.00 an hour, and he does not waste any time. In fact, he did not even take a lunch break. I intend use his services again because he knows what he is doing and is very easy to work with.

He is great. He pays great attention to detail. He is helping us with finishing up of stairs. He is coming back to help finish the stairs and we may have to have some built-in, in the basement. He is such a nice man. He is very prompt. The prices are exactly what he told us it would be and his price is very fair. I would use him in the future.

Andy is the owner of the company and he does the work himself. Andy was prompt, courteous and professional. He came when he said he would and he did a great job on our repair for a fair price. I will definitely use Andy again.

Time is money. Needs to speed his work.

My husband contacted Andy and spoke with him on the phone about installing drop-down attic stairs for us. He told us that he was booked until January, but he would come down and look at it some time that day (we were home having our roof done). He never arrived. We waited some time before calling him again. We left him a message twice, and he did not return the call. I am not sure how he has managed to keep his perfect rating, but I would never call him again.

I called and left a message and he never called me back.

He was good. He did what I needed done. I had him look at a few other things and give me prices.

Andy is a true professional who takes pride in his work. He arrived when he said and worked around my schedule and worked in the evening hours. I was very pleased with his work. The dry wall was repaired neatly and the work area was kept clean. As Andy was working, he discovered leaks in my plumbing. As result, I asked him to remove the sheet rock to allow the plumber access. When the plumbing is completed, I intend to hire Andy to repair those sections as well. When finished, I will update my review.

Left a message for them a few times. Never heard back from them.

Andy was very kind to my elderly father. He came to his home within hours and his prices are very fair!!!

Upon initially contacting Andy he responded almost immediately and gave me flexible choices of an estimate date. He confirmed our appointment and arrived promptly. He was polite and knowledgeable of the job I wanted performed. Offering me several options and fair prices for each. I was able to choose an installation date that was very convenient to my schedule. The job was done in a professional manor within the estimated time. I have found no fault with his workmanship and would definitely call him back.
