It went fantastic. We were in a real bind as another company serviced the old unit but it broke down once again after three weeks. I called Art before it was fixed and he gave me some information. I told him if that company could not fix it, I would be calling him. When it was fixed, I told him if it broke again, I would be calling him. When it did break, I called and he came right over to look at it. He did everything he could to help us until he and Bill put the new units in. He is extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond during the hot spell to not leave us without air conditioning, coming over in the evening or early morning to add refrigerant, as the old unit was leaking. Art was exceptional in helping us and I will recommend him to anyone who is wanting a new installation or repair. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We cannot thank Art enough for everything he did. We love the new units that heat and cool.

Based on a fair estimate and his background both as an installer of ductless, split-system air conditioners, patent holder and years as an HVAC teacher, we asked Arthur Radichio of A&R to install a system for us. He spent a lot of time determining where best to place the various components so the final result would look its best. And it did. In two days he had installed a beautiful system that is so quiet it's as if it's not there! And it works beautifully. He and his colleague were a pleasure to have around and their work was meticulous and neat. Great job. We highly recommend him.

I highly recommend A&R Technical Corp. I needed an old broken ductless AC system replaced, after meeting with a few companies I decided to go with A&R and a Mitsubishi setup. I am very happy with how the entire process went, from the initial quote to the finished installation. Art, the owner, is professional and honest, and really knows his stuff. Communication was great with all questions answered, and everything carried out as planned. On top of that, A&R is a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, which means you get the maximum warranty period available. I would certainly do business again

Very professional and good at what he does.. He was one of three estimates that I got and by far the most knowledgeable. I had to replace my electric panel at the same time Art was going to be installing my Mitsubishi and it was no problem at all. He was able to work around the electrician. We are very happy with our units and they were very nice as well. I definitely recommend him.

A & R is a highly qualified, technically powerful and very honest installer. He installed two split AC systems at my home. They knew about upcoming rebate program from PSEG and to make it in my benefit, he waited for almost two months to save my money which is contrary to other typical contractor who push you to get the contract signed. They are very meticulous about the installation of the system. Very punctual on timing. Great on workman ship warranty. I build the building for living and fully aware of deteriorated quality of contractors now a days but A & R is still one of the trustworthy installer found after long time. All in all...very happy that Art installed split ACs at my home.

Arthur and his team did a fantastic job. He delivered EXACTLY what he said he would. The installation went smoothly. They worked quickly, quietly and neatly! Arthur took the time to explain the system both before we signed the contract and when he was finished with the install. Most of all, he made it clear that while he was installing a quality product (Mitsubishi), the relationship would be with him ... he would respond when and if we needed him. (A concept that is lost on so many today!) I am IN LOVE with these units. It is the best money I've ever spent! Everyone in the house has their bedroom set to THEIR PREFERRED TEMPERATURE ... and they are happy. Woo hoo! I would highly recommend Arthur and his team. They deliver what they promise. Art and his crew were great. He was patient with us as we got quotes and nailed down our budget. We chose A&R for their professionalism, quality of work (based on reviews), and prices. Installation went better than expected, his crew managed to complete the installation in one day and cleaned up thoroughly.

I found A&R on Mitsubishi's list of trained and certified installers of their ductless systems. I chose them over some larger companies, and it definitely turned out to be the right decision. Art and his assistant, Bill, installed heat pumps in 5 different rooms in our house as well as two separate compressors outside, which required working multiple days. You could tell they knew what they were doing and had done this kind of work hundreds of times because the system looks very professionally-installed with no corners cut, unlike some horror stories I have read about and seen photos of where the installer is clearly not trained and tried to be in and out as fast as possible. On the contrary, what impressed me the most about Art and Bill was their dedication and attention to detail. They stayed past 8:30pm on a Friday to make sure that two units were installed in two bedrooms before a weekend when the temperature and humidity were going to be very high, so that my senior citizen parents wouldn't suffer before they came back to finish the project. It was also pretty hot that day they did the work and were outside most of the time! We wouldn't have gotten that level of service with a large company. The whole time, they were always friendly and respectful to us in their demeanor, as well as to our house by always cleaning up after themselves. You would be hard-pressed to find better than them!

A&R installed 8 zone ductless mini-spit system working off 2 compressors. Art came when he said he would and finished in a timely manner with minimal disruption. Open communication always returning calls and helpful with the permit. It was big job - 3 floors with compressors on 2 sides of the house. A & R's price came in $3000 under the next lowest bid, $7000 under the lowest Mitsubishi bid and $16,000 under the highest. Other Mitsubishi Diamond Installers came and told me how expensive Mitsubishi is and suggested competitors. When I checked online dealers Mitsubishi equipment was only marginally more expensive the other manufacturers. Based on internet pricing the spreads in cost did not make any sense. I kept having Diamond installers coming for estimates until I could find one that actually would install Mitsubishi - which was my preference based on my research. I got Art - strait shooting Diamond Installer - which means a 12 year warranty parts - who also offered the longest labor warranty at 5 years as well. I have renovated 4 houses, 3 of them gut including a 4 story brownstone in NYC. I know what it means when you get a contractor who does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. You have a gem. Do your due diligence. Get 3 bids, but call Art at A&R and have him do the job.

Excellent! The Owner Art, was on site for all roughly 2.5 days, leading the work. Willing to answer our questions, worked with us on price, and very clean/neat. Would recommend Art to any of my friends, family members or acquaintances.

We had used Art’s services 8 years ago and hired him again. He met with us to understand our needs and then offered a suitable solution. The final layout gives us the option to add a future unit using the same outside unit. As the job proceeded, he always involved us in aesthetic decisions about placement of the units and outside lines, and only proceeded after we gave him the ok. He worked carefully especially around our son’s piano. Upon completion he and his crew cleaned up the work areas and showed us how to operate our new units.

Art and his helper were professional to no end. They answered any question, they offered to tell us what they were doing WITHOUT being asked. Their clean up was impeccable. We had several quotes prior to hiring A&R. We are glad we did. You do not need to take out a full page advertisement to sell your service. When you are good, word of mouth is all you need. A&R just found a new customer for life.

A & R Technical did a really outstanding job installing our Mitsubishi ductless A/C and Heating system. The installation involved manufacturer delays, oppressive mid-summer heat and irregular beam spacing in our attic, but they persevered to deliver a great installation. Initially we wanted a wall unit ductless system to match the setup of our 4 window air conditioners: One ductless wall unit for each of the three bedrooms and a big unit for the living area. All would be hooked up to one outdoor condensing unit. We matched up the best reviewed Angie's List contractors with Mitsubishi's list of Certified Diamond Contractors. The first contractor said the setup couldn't be done and conducted what ended up being a 25 minute sales pitch on the system he wanted to install. The second contractor, Art Radichio of A & R Technical, went through the entire house and found a technically elegant way it could be done. That really impressed us. After Art gave us a quote for the wall unit system in early May, we learned that Mitsubishi was introducing a new line of MLZ ceiling-recessed units. I asked Art for a new quote. The only problem was that the sleek new Mitsubishi ceiling units didn't become available until mid-July. Without any complaint, Art and his team ended up installing the new system and its new installation specifications in our oppressive mid-July attic. Silent, more efficient, the new ductless system is a wonderful thing. We were the last house in our neighborhood with window air conditioners. Every other home had long since switched to central air conditioning. It's one of those instances where we dragged our feet and somehow ended up with a more technologically advanced solution. Instead of setting the entire house to a single temperature, each room or area has its own remote. We also can expect significant savings using ductless heating this winter.

Everything from start to finish was very professional. Art first came to our home in order to provide an estimate which was in line with other estimates we had received, however given that A&R was Diamond approved by Mitsubishi we decided to go forward with A&R in order to benefit from the additional warranty that this would provide. Everything went excellent in respect to the installation and our new unit is working flawlessly. Art has followed up on a couple of occasions in order to see that we're happy with how the system is working. We look forward to working with A&R in any similar projects in the future and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services!

My 1.5 year old Mitsubishi Hyperheat 24,000 BTU mini-split hadn't been functioning properly in the heat of this summer. Overnight, I'd wake up sweating and my 3 year old daughter's room would be intermittently warm as well. I called several of Mitsubishi's Diamond Contractors, but had a hard time getting someone to come and look at my system. Art from A&R called me back promptly, showed up to the appointment early, diagnosed the issue quickly, and gave me a fair price. I hired him to do the work because I had confidence that he was knowledgeable and could fix the problem. It was a sensor issue, as the attic walls where the units were installed were getting very hot (close to the roof line) and causing my units to run constantly and freeze up system. Art suggested remote thermostats that could be positioned in a better location in each room. He ordered the parts quickly and came back when he said he would. The work was performed neatly and professionally. Art explained everything to me and even emailed me a youtube video about using the new thermostats. He called a few days after installation to make sure everything was running well. There are not many honest, reliable contractors out there, so I was very pleased to have found one. I could not/would not call on the original contractor who installed my Mitsubishi system because they bumbled the installation from start to finish. I was thankful for Art's expertise, professionalism and willingness to help fix something someone else had screwed up. There is only one company I'd call if I needed additional service or eventual replacement of my system and that is A&R.

Once again, Art saved our 2018 Summer by replacing our Mitsubishi Mr. Slim multi-leg split ductless system. The original installer really messed up many of the flange connections and Art discovered that this poor workmanship and slowly leaking refrigerant led to the ultimate demise of the outside compressor. While the outside compressor was still under warrantee (with a blown compressor motor), the interior wall evaporators were not. Art worked out an amazing equipment and installation price with us for an entire-system replacement instead of just replacing the outside unit. The Mitsubishi Mr. Slim product is a highly-rated product where there is one outside unit and one inside wall evaporator. Not so much so for our system with one outside unit feeding three inside wall units. Mitsubishi has learned a thing or two about multi-leg temperature management over the years which is reflected in their newest modern systems. Art explained all of this very clearly to us and presented a price we just couldn't walk away from. So now we have a brand new and modern system with a 12 year warranty to boot instead of just a 5 year replacement warranty for only the outside system. Way to go A&R Technical. I have a very short list of my super favorite contractors - A&R Technical at the top of my list.
