I was very pleased with the job V&S performed. I didn't have to wait long at all for an estimate from Sergey and he was able to start work in 2 weeks. The crew showed up on time every day and worked all day. They were very pleasant and accommodating. On the last day they stayed quite late to finish up. I had received quotes from 3 other contractors and V&S was the lowest bid yet they did a great job. We had one small problem where the tile was blocking a vent and V&S responded quickly and rectified the situation. Sergey is a true professional.

If you don't want to take a lot of time reading reviews for tile installers and bathroom remodelers, stop now, and call or email these guys. They are the best. We did a complete bathroom remodel in mid-June 2014. Our contractor lined up a Columbia county Tile contractor named Ken who gave us an estimate--which we accepted. Ken said he would start after the 4th of July. Despite numerous (cordial) telephone and email requests from July into August as to when he was going to start, we never heard from Ken from Columbia again By mid-August with the job not completed because of the tile and with no idea where to turn, we looked to Angie's List (AL). We initially emailed and called another contractor on AL from nearby Selkirk and got no response to either inquiry. We poured through the reviews and saw V&S was highly rated. We emailed V&S through the AL link--explaining our project-- and within a very short time, had a response from Sergey, the co-owner. We made an appointment for him to estimate the job a couple days later and he showed up, precisely on time! He was extremely professional and knowledgable and provided some recommendations about aspects of the job that neither we nor our construction contractor had previously considered. Sergey said he would email us an estimate the next day--which he did--and we found the price to be reasonable (ironically, it was the same price MIA Ken had quoted). Work was scheduled to begin and commenced as scheduled, on time! The workers, including Slava and co-owner Versilli were hard working, knowledgable, courteous, impeccably clean, and incredibly talented. We could not be happier with the quality of the work performed or the character of the workers. These guys came and worked like gangbusters and were always going out of their way to clean the work area and keep the path through the house covered with drop cloths. We don't typically write recommendations, but having relied on AL, we feel obliged to, knowing how unnerving it was to be left without a tile contractor and unable to get a recommendation from neighbors and friends. Having had no prior experience with V&S we relied on the AL recommendations. We could not be happier with our experience with V&S and we're pleased to be able to share our experience and recommendation.

Sergey and his team arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. Sergey took the time to verbally walk me through the process during the quote and inform me on exactly what needed to be done. His team was very skilled in the craft and the floors came out beautiful. On a floor that is very uneven (house built in 1830) you can no longer tell when walking on it. Sergey also evened out the transition between the different rooms (different heights). Price was exactly what was quoted. I would recommend Sergey and his team for any tiling job and will use them again in the future. They create perfection at a great price.

I cannot praise V & S tile enough, Our prior contractor had left a half finished bathroom with serious issues. They came in worked diligently until the job was done and ended up doing many more things than they originally contemplated as the scope of the job became clear. The job they did was fabulous and of incredible quality. Moreover, they were incredibly professional, responsive and friendly to all suggestions. They are truly knowledgeable on all facets of bathrooms and I would absolutely use them again. I give them my highest recommendation.

This was our third time having V & S Tile. V & S had done such a great job with both bathrooms, we knew we wanted them again for new flooring and kitchen upgrade. Once again, they did not let us down. Crews arrived by 7:30 and worked through the day into early evening. The entire team is very courteous and professional and took great care to protect our living room floor when removing demo materials. The new floors are all porcelain tile and simply beautiful!! They replaced the counter tops in the kitchen, removed old plastic tile from walls and replaced with a Travertine back splash. We wanted an opening in the wall between the kitchen and dining room for an open concept. They removed most of the wall and installed a bar counter with overhead lighting. We now have plenty of light coming through and both rooms are bright and cheery!! If you are looking for quality workmanship and a dedicated professional crew, V & S Tile is the company to call!!

Sergay came right away to give me and estaminet .He said that he would be going out of town to finish work that he had started and it might be awhile. I ordered the tub and it took about 3 weeks to come .I also bought all the materials,subway tile decorative tile, backer board and drain for the. When the tub came in I called Sergay and he said it would be toward the end of the month. We play.ed a little phone tag but he did return my calls They picked up the tub for me and arrive at 7:30 They did not leave till 7:30 that nite They were very polite and professionalCovered the stirs and walkway to Bathroom Alex had to come back the next morning and grout the tilesHe was only here 3 hours Sergay came buy later that day to inspect the job and get paid. I can honestly say I am so happy with the tub and tiles. I love that it was done in a day I have taken 3 showers. And so far not leaks or problems. I would diffenitly use V@STile and recommend the to my neighbors.They were so good that they didnt have to touch up paint or crack the floor tile I am really happy

They do excellent work and get things done fast with quality work. They definitely do professional work that looks fantastic. I would highly recommend them for your bathroom remodel. We were not sure what we wanted as far as design goes, but Sergey offered excellent design ideas and pictures of exactly what we wanted. We are very happy with the completed bathrooms. They were very busy doing other jobs, but finished quickly. I'm a perfectionist, so I found a couple minor things they forgot to do. Again, I would call on them to do all bathroom re-modules or tile jobs I have to do again. It was a pleasure working with them and we are very happy with our bathrooms. Wow, their tile work and paint jobs are great!

Only negative was the tub was not properly supported underneith resulting in squeaking sounds when standing in it about a week after installation. We had paid for the job prior to noticing the squeaking noises. To his credit, Sergey made several attempts to fix the problem without removing the tub, but the only solution was to take out the tub and redo the support under it. They did this at no additional cost to us. That solved the problem and is actually very quiet when showering. We did have to do some touch-ups to the woodwork after they redid the tub but overall we're very satisfied with how they stood behind their workmanship.

In one day (7:30 AM to about 7:30 PM), a four-man team tore out our old whirlpool tub and laminate surround, down to the studs, then installed a new tub, tiled surround, and hardware. We were able to use it that night - no waiting for grout to dry, because they used a composite material that dries quickly. They put down dropcloths to keep the carpet clean as they tromped in and out, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Sergey, the owner, called that evening to ask how everything looked, and said to let him know if there was anything else that needed to be done. We took him up on it right away, as we had decided that we did, indeed, want a curtain rod permanently mounted, instead of just putting up a tension rod (which turn out not to be so sturdy). In later inspecting the job from below, I also noticed that the old pipe fitting in the basement was corroding, so I asked that he replace that, as well. He sent a man over within a week to take care of both for an additional charge of $150, including parts. It looks great

Sergay was superb. He was extremely responsive and was easy to reach when I had a question or request, which is unusual for a contractor. He gave me an accurate and very fair estimate and was able to start work quickly. He seemed very knowledge and was very easy to work with. His men did a great job. They cleaned up nicely when they were done and showed up when they said they would. We had over 900 square feet of tile installed and they were done within 5 days. All his men worked very hard, arrived early and stayed late to finish up. The floors are beautiful. I couldn?t have asked for more. I would highly recommend this company!

I found V&S Tile, LLC through Angie's list. The reviews are what prompted me to contract V&S for an estimate. My initial contact was responded to immediately and an appointment set up. Sergey was prompt and very professional. I explained what we wanted done and he got back to me with a proposal. This project required a complete gut (plaster walls/ceiling) and in place of tub/shower, a tiled shower with doors, new sink/vanity and toilet plus install a vent. We also wanted tiled floor. Adjacent to the bathroom was a closet. I asked if that closet could be made accessible from the bathroom for storage. Sergey listened to everything I said and gave recommendations on tile colors etc. His vision was far better than mine and assured me that everything we wanted could be done and completed in a week and a half to two weeks. Work was started 11/25/13 (Thanksgiving week). The crew arrived promptly at 7:30 and were pleasant and professional. They took care to protect my living room floor when they were removing all demo materials. Each day the crew was prompt, worked all day and into the evening in order to complete the aspect of the job they were working on. I wish I knew the names of each of the crew as they all deserve mention on here for their professionalism and pride in their work. Today is 12/6/13 and the job is complete. In the course of work, they discovered an electrical problem and told us immediately. They had an electrician come in to bring everything up to code. The entire job was done faster than stated even with losing part of one day with the electrical problem and Thanksgiving day. This remodel is beautiful and the colors for the tiles that Sergey recommended, are stunning!! We have already asked Sergey to put us on his calendar for a complete remodel of an upstairs bathroom and tile flooring for 5 rooms on the main floor. V&S Tile is highly recommended!

He had a crew of four. They were all cheerful and respectful, protecting the stairs with tarps. They worked tirelessly all day from very early to after 8 PM on the first day, and were back first thing in the AM the next day. So tiling and grouting basically took two days to complete, and the result is great. The wall tile is white subway and it is impeccable. The floor is old-fashioned black and white tiles in a design, so it came in 1 foot sheets. They pieced them together seamlessly and with black grout it just is beautiful. Cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend these guys.

We have hired V & S Tile twice before this install. Once for a kitchen backsplash and subsequently for tiling in bathroom (floor and walls and vanity top). As always, Sergey is prompt for his initial consultation. This business is a family run business. They are fair and the final result is superior. One of the many things I like about V & S is that Sergey has a great eye for what works and what might not work. I would not hesitate to hire this company again. They are great!

We hired V &S after getting two estimates from highly rated Angie's list vendors. The estimates were nearly identical but Serge's confidence in completing the job in five days was the deciding factor.You could tell that they were very experienced, organized, and extremely hard working. They arrived each day promptly at 7:30, staying each day until they completed whatever needed to be accomplished during that day. We purchased the tile locally and they picked up; I had new wood trim delivered and painted it myself prior to V & s installation! which was perfect! Serge was very helpful and the entire crew were a delight to have in our home. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

When he didn't show up for the appointment I called him. He said he got tied up and needed to re-schedule. He showed up (late) at the re-scheduled appointment. He indicated that he would email me an estimate the next day. It is two weeks later and not a word.

Sergey promptly set up an appointment to give me estimate to complete the job. He showed me examples of tile work. Agreed on the choice of tile. He and his crew came in 10 days later at 7:30 AM and stayed until job was finished. Sergey came back next day to install 2nd grab bar and replaced shower head that was leaking. All involved were friendly and professional. I was very happy with the tile and the quality of work performed.

Came and gave me the estimate and also showed me the tile work that he was going to use for the bathroom. I never heard from him after that. He said that he was going out of town and that he was going to call back when he got back into town. I never heard from him again.

Sergey and his crew were amazing. They were professional and friendly and I would work with them in the future in a heartbeat. I'm a demanding customer, and these guys didn't disappoint one bit. I'm a bit on the obsessive side of things, I notice very small imperfections. The work is beautiful and it wasn't the easiest of installations. The marble I chose has a straight edge (not a bullnose like many tiles) so it is much easier to see sloppy work. These guys are detail oriented and it shows! I had ordered extra tile (or thought I had), but ended up being one tile short on the marble. V&S drove to the tile store (15 minutes away) to pick up that one tile! They had nothing to do with my failure to properly order the correct amount of tile and they still took care of me despite having no obligation to do so. They are absolutely spectacular.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They did what we agreed to in the time we agreed to. They do exactly what they promise to do and more. They are the best!!!

Received estimate and was given an appointment sooner than expected. The team arrived on time at 7:00 am and worked thru until the job was completed. Unfortunately the insolation ended up being wet so that had to be replace, but otherwise everything seemed to go smoothly. I love my new tile and would definitely consider hiring them to another job. Thank you!

The contractor initially forgot he had an appointment with us and subsequentlly rescheduled and assessed the work with a promise to get back to us wtih a quote. I'm still waiting!

--removed old ceramic tile in hall and half bath.--removed concrete (mud) subflooring which was not in good condition.--installed new Hardiboard over our plywood flooring. Screwed down our plywood and the Hardiboard.--installed new 13" x 13" ceramic tile (which we purchased from Best Tile). Tile was set in a diagonal pattern per our request.--temporarily removed the toilet and vanity sink in half bath in order to install the new tile.--reset the toilet--reset the vanity but installed our supplied new vanity top and faucet. All work was performed to our total satisfaction. The workers start early (7:30 a.m.) and work all day...which was fine with us. All workers are professional, pleasant and always aimed to please. They take pride in their work.

We had a very tight schedule that kept changing. V & S Tile worked until late in the evening and came in very early in the morning to insure that the work was done in time for our Community Day event.
