Our finished basement flooded due to heavy rain in the late evening of 2-24-2015. I discovered the flood in the early morning on 2-25-2016. The entire finished basement (carpeted) was flooded with free standing water everywhere. I immediately knew I couldn't tackle this job myself. So I searched Angie's List and selected CleanBright Surface Restoration based on their feedback and I'm so glad I did. I called Matt at 7:00 am and he returned my call within 20 minutes! I was very happy when Matt told me he would be at my house by 9:00 am. At 9:00 am on the nose, Matt and his fantastic crew arrived and immediately got to work. Not only did they remove the carpet and damaged furniture, but they also removed a very heavy TV. These guys were awesome to work with! They were very polite, and just nice people! By 4:00 of working non-stop, other than taking a very short lunch break, only 30 minutes, the basement was drying. They left 10 air dryers and two industrial dehumidifiers running. Matt came to the house every morning for the next three days to test the walls to make sure they were properly drying and to move the dryers to different places in the basement. He also applied a mold inhibitor to the floor. On Sunday, all of the moisture readings were back to normal and Matt removed the equipment. If you need a professional, polite and hardworking company to restore your house after a flood or any other event, I would highly recommend Matt and the CleanBright Surface Restoration crew! We contacted Matthew regarding potential water damage in our home as we had an internal leak that created a stain in our ceiling. Matthew and his brother showed up at the quoted time, actually a few minutes early, and they were incredible professional, polite and helpful. After analyzing the issue in our home we were relieved to learn that it was simply a cosmetic issue and there was not any structural damage to our home. After sharing that positive news Matthew went above and beyond and shared advice on repairing our cosmetic damage. Although we were fortunate enough to avoid requiring service we got Matthew's business card, because based on our interaction we would not hesitate to contact him again in the future should the need arise.

They did a great job! Very reliable. Good communication. Happily answered any questions we had. They were also very patient as we had to wait several weeks for another contractor to repair the leak in our roof before they could start. We're very pleased.

Sanitized the unit, removed all affected walls and floors, sheetrock, tape, plaster, sand, primed, painted, replaced trim, replaced floors, installed new vanity and mirror.

Matt was very responsive to our call for help and immediately instituted measures to mitigate the effects of flooding in our basement. He explained what needed to be done to remedy the damage and deal with issues related to mold. He also provided professional advice on ways to keep our basement dry and free from further damage (e.g., placement of our humidifier in basement, need to obtain a humidifier that covered more square footage). We really appreciated Matt's (and his crew) professionalism, reliability, and hard work. They were there when we needed them and they did an excellent job in addressing our basement flooding. So pleased with the job and plan to use CleanBright Surface Restoration in the near future to waterproof our basement walls.

Matt is a pleasant and friendly professional. Matt spent a day and a half tearing into my walls and killing the mold. The mold was found in the utility room, linen closet and the bathroom. He eliminated the mold and replaced the old sheet rock and molding doing a professional job. He even helped me with my hot water tank and that was not part of the job.

He is a really nice and personable guy, showed us pictures and answered all our questions.

Matt is great. Starting from my I initial email to him he was very responsive and super helpful. He came out fast to give us and estimate. No long wait. Then as our project needs evolved based on other factors, he answered tons of questions and was flexible enough to change scope and method as we needed. Once we decided on the final plan he was able to get in quickly and do the work. He was on time and he and his brother are great guys. They communicated well during the job and were honest and transparent about any small issues that arose. They did the job well and left the site in great condition. I called Matt late in the afternoon on Wednesday and he came out Thursday morning to give me an estimate. I contacted him later that evening to schedule my treatment and he was able to start working Monday and finished on Tuesday. He was prompt, professional, thorough, and efficient! We knew about mold from a leak in one corner of our basement, but after removing the carpet and pad, Matt and his partner found more mold in the opposite corner. They cut out that drywall and treated the area as well. In the attic, all of the ventilation was blocked by insulation, which they were able to clear from the soffits while they were treating the mold problem. He charged us exactly what he quoted, even with the extra work that they did. He had no problem giving us the 10% Angie's List discount even though I forgot to mention we were subscribers when he gave me the original quote. We are very pleased with the work he did, and while we hope not to have to call him again in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Matt scheduled an appointment within a day to evaluate my attic. He was on time, and quickly provided a quote. I was in a rush, and he offered to do the job the next week, which worked great. He was trustworthy, on-time, and hard working. The team left the attic mold free and looking great. A home inspector later viewed the attic and thought it was an excellent remediation job.

Matt came and gave me an estimate which was less than most of the competitors. He was responsive and timely. He sent me a very detailed work plan description which I so appreciate because most contractors only give you a general description of what they are going to do and you're never really sure about the specifics. He was very thorough, prompt, returned my phone calls immediately. I can't believe how much work they did in so little time. The basement smells so much better and the house doesn't have that occasional moldy smell anymore.

Matt,Mike and Rj showed up right on time.They started their work diligently and removed the sheetrock that was abnormally installed when the house was new.This made the removal difficult but Rj did a nice job removing it. New greenboard sheetrock was installed,taped and seamed with compound. Matt attached ventpipes above both bathrooms to exhaust out of the soffits and attached nice caps on the outside.Matt used the Cleanbright system to kill and remove all the mold.The team returned on Friday 9/26 to finish their work.Mike installed both of the fan/lights and Rj finished the sanding of the sheetrock.They were very thorough in laying down plastic sheathing through out the house and encapsulating the entire bathroom with plastic.They were excellent in cleaning up.All in all they did a great job and I would highly recommend Cleanbright Surface Restoration to anyone in need.

From estimate to completion Matt and his people worked diligently and professionally They showed up on time and did exactly what was promised, and then some. They also honored their discount for members with no conditions added. Overall it was a very positive experience. I'd reccommend this company without hesitation.

Working with Matthew and the CleanBright team was wonderful. We had previously sought quotes from other companies with respect to the closet mold issue alone (we were not aware of the attic problem-- thank goodness Matthew inspected thoroughly). Even with the addition of the attic work, CleanBright's quote was still over $1000 LESS than our previous closet-only quotes! Once we decided to go with CleanBright, the work was scheduled quickly and handled professionally. All communications with Matthew were also extremely friendly and professional. We plan on using CleanBright for our future insulation replacement project. We HIGHLY recommend CleanBright. Dealing with mold can be tough-- but we were in good hands.

They responded immmediately, came within a few days, came early each morning and worked into late afternoon. They hauled away two large dumpsters of debris. It was a big job, but two men completed the work in three days. I am so happy to have been able to get this work done so quickly and the air quality in the basement is greatly improved.

We have 4 rooms in our basement. When we bought the house 3 weeks ago, we bought it with a finished basement. But after ripping up the moldy 40+ year old carpet, we discovered that the double layer of floating plywood flooring was rotting from water damage. Matt and his brother removed I have no idea how many dumpsters worth of drop ceiling tiles that were infested with mice pellets (sorry guys), sheetrock, pine paneling (the largest room was wall-to-wall pine paneling with built-in display cases, fireplace, and a huge wet bar that needed to be totally demo'd to get out the door), flooring, very old tiling, etc. After they got down to the cinder blocks and concrete floor, they did the mold remediation. They checked in every step of the way to highlight potential issues/ask questions. In addition to being polite, professional, likeable guys, they did an awesome job for a very reasonable price (it took a full week of hard labor, plus several trips to the landfill that was :30 min away). They are in the process of providing us with estimates for some additional work that we are looking to have done in our house. Very happy with ClearBright!

They came soon after I called them to look at the problem and give me an estimate. The estimate was done quickly and the problem was taken care of in a reasonable time. The job they did was satisfactory, although somewhat expensive. I know that it was a big job. The price reflected the distance they had to travel each day. The workers were reliable, hard working, and honest.
