+ -1 moreI suppose if you want what they have in stock they may be a good bet. But we were treated rudely and given misinformation. My sense is that the sales people on duty that day just weren't interested in helping us. We bought what we needed and received great service from another store.
Description of Work: We went to Appliance Giant to purchase air conditioners in September. They told us they had none in stock, which was reasonable given the time of year. When we asked if we could order some, they laughed at us and said that there wouldn't be any in stock in any warehouse, that the manufacturers just wouldn't have anything available until next spring. Not true. Another store easily found what we wanted.

+ -1 moreTHEY WALKED IN AND THEN WALKED OUT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE IT HERE THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY BETWEEN NINE AND ELEVEN AND THEY WERE HERE AT TEN AND DONE AT ELEVEN. THEY WERE THERE IN THE WINDOW OF TIME THAT THEY GAVE US. THEY WERE EXCELLENT, THERE WASN'T EVEN A SCRATCH.
Description of Work: THEY TOOK OUT THE OLD DISHWASHER AND DIDN'T SCRATCH OR HIT ANYTHING. HE THEN TOOK IT BACK TO HIS SHOP AND FIXED IT.

+ -1 morethe paint that I was going to use to touch upthe wear marks on the sides of the unit. Caveat emptor all who shop The Apliance Giant.
Description of Work: We purchased a maytag refrig/frzr. We checked to see if they had another in stock, & was told yes. Delivery was made the Fri prior to Labor Day Weekend, 2005. Delivery was not on time. The unit was a floor model as both sides of unit had mild abrasions from being moved in & out of the line of other units on display(my assumption). Doors had to be reversed by the 2 delivery people, 1 of which was a salesperson, but not our salesperson. When reversing the door, they damaged the seal, chipped both handles. The salesperson got us an instant $75 rebate rather than have us refuse it. A new seal, door handles & can of spray paint were ordered to complete transaction. Green's service coordinator scheduled a follow up call which was cancelled 2 times w/o notifying us. In March 2006 a repair person showed up & replaced the door seal & the 2 handles. To date, July 2006, we have not received the can of spray paint to redo sides that were scuffed prior to delivery. Future customers, CAVEAT EMPTOR.

+ -1 moreI LIKED THE COMPANY, I JUST WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. THE KNOBS WERE FALLING OFF THE STOVE AND WE DIDN'T EXPECT THAT FOR THE PRICE WE PAID FOR IT. WHEN WE DEALT WITH THEM, THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
Description of Work: THAT IS WHERE WE ORIGINALLY BOUGHT OUR STOVE, THEY HAD TO FIX SOME OF THE KNOBS THAT WERE ON OUR STOVE, THEY KEPT FALLING OFF.
