+ 1 moreTri County came to look at my roof and gave me an estimate. He was very professional, punctual and personable. After we agreed on the price, he scheduled the project. The men were neat and completed the roof within a few days. I was so pleased that I called Richard back to look at the facade of my home. He made some very creative suggestions. We scheduled work on the brick facade, belgium block edging and asphalt driveway. I was very pleased with all the work that was completed. I plan on using them for work that I will need done in the future would very much recommend Tri County.

+ 3 moreWe had a great experience working with Tri-Count Building Services. Our front & storm doors were damaged by a tree branch during Super Storm Sandy. We hired Tri-County to replace our doors and interior trim. We called several contractors after the storm and found Tri-County the most responsive. We also had our curbing replaced in the driveway with Belgium block. Rich suggested installing a sprinkler system for our front and side yards. We were very pleased with his input & suggestions. He was professional and his men were pleasant & courtesy. We will contact Tri-County Building Services for our next project!

+ 0 moreMy roof was damaged by Super Storm Sandy. I contacted my insurance company and was waiting for my claim to be settled. Once my claim was settled I contacted Tri-County Building to give me an estimate on a new roof as the old roof could not be repaired. After I got the estimate, I noticed that there was water leaking into my dining room after we had a rain storm. I contacted Tri-County Building and Richard Sansone sent his men over to install a tarp on my roof to prevent further damage. Richard then applied for the permit for the new roof. Once I received the permit for the new roof, he immediately sent his workers over and stripped the old roof and completely replaced it with new plywood and new shingles. They were very careful to make sure that they cleaned up at the end of the day and the work was completed within two days. I was very pleased not only with the work but with the atittude of Richard and his workers. I would definitely recommend Tri-County Building. It is a pleasure to work with a company that has the knowledge on how to get the necessary paperwork done in order to secure a permit and with a company that cares that the work is done right!

+ -1 moreOn May 9, 2013 I called (914) 582-9115 from the advertisement in April 2013's magazine. I spoke to Richard and asked him if he did work in the Bronx. He said sometimes. I asked for his NYC Department of Consumer Affairs license number. He refused to give it to me and said he wanted my address first. Home Improvement contractors are supposed to provide this information to a homeowner to review his background, so that the homeowner decides if he/she would like to request an estimate interview before having the contractor come to his/her home. His behavior is unprofessional and there is NO excuse for it. Richard you should act better, it could be an Angie's List member calling!

Description of Work: Tri-County performed some spot masonry and carpentry work on the outside of our house, in a number of areas that had experienced wear and tear from the elements over the years. Not only did they do the work that we specified, but also pointed out areas that we missed and asked if we wanted those done as well. (We did.) The work was well-done, timely and very reasonably priced. The owner Richard Sansone visited and checked the work every day over the five days of the job.

+ 1 moreThe roof removal and replacement went smoothly. Three layers of shingles were removed from the house. The debris was placed in a container in the diveway. The men left the house each night and swept nails from the driveway and picked up any loose shingles on the lawn and backyard. The men also installed new roof decking and installed a 30 year architectural shingle with a life time warranty. Rich was very informative and assisted us in make suggestions and advised us of our options. He was courteous and returned our calls. We were very comfortable with him. After the roof was completed we wanted to change the look of the exterior of the house. Rich was creative and suggested a stone facade on the lower part of the house and vinyl shingles shakes on the second portion of our home. All work was completed in a timely and professional way. We also replaced our front steps and walkway as well. During this construction, the steps and walkway was roped off and protected. Overall we were very pleased with the quality of work and the input and response from Rich.
Description of Work: Complete roof replacement-removal of three layers of shingles. Masonry work-Stone facade. Installed Blue stone exterior Steps. Vinyl siding-cedar shake look.

Description of Work: I find them to be very good. They have been working on my house for a couple of weeks. One of the sides of my deck had blown off during the hurricane and the other side had been loosened. They replaced both sides of the deck which is a pretty big job.

+ 1 moreWe already had work completed by Tri County building and we were very pleased with everything they did. We called them again to do siding and stone front to the exterior of our home. They responded immediately and came by to measure. They gave us a proposal and frankly, we did not even question anything because we found them to be competitive, do great work and are very professional. They began the job and all was completed within 2 weeks. The men are neat and very trustworthy. They cleaned up every evening. First they came and started on the stone to the front of our home, then they completed the siding project. They changed all the vents on the house. After the siding was completed, they worked on the unilock path. Overall, Tri County is One Great Company. I would highly recommend then to anyone who wants a great job. They are neat, professional and most of all trustworthy. I will definitely use them for every project in the future! .

+ -1 moreUnfortunately, due to language barrier (my parents do not speak English), they ended up hiring someone that they can directly communicate with. Although we did not hire Richard, I can tell that he performs with a high level of professionalism and highly recommend him.
Description of Work: My parents' house had a fire and Richard from Tri County gave us an estimate on the repair costs. We had a Saturday afternoon appointment and he was very punctual. In addition, he was very thorough and thoughtful in reviewing the damages. He prepared a detailed estimate and also gave us some general remodeling advice. Richard was also very responsive and easy to reach.

Description of Work: I had two major jobs performed by Tri-County Building Services Corp. A year ago, the company painted the outside of my house. This is a huge Victorian that was in terrible shape due to years of incompetent painting. The company spent two months sanding off every bit of paint on the entire three story house. This had never been done so thoroughly. They used the best quality paint. The workmanship was exceptional and they cleaned up every bit of mess. It's been a year and the paint job is still perfect. I was absolutely thrilled with their work since no painter has ever done as good a job and this house has been in the family for 90 years. This last fall I had them back to replace over 50 windows. Again, the workmanship was marvelous. I was able to just leave the workman in my home alone while I went to work- no worry that anything would be stolen. The windows were done perfectly. A lot of carpentry had to be done because there was rot in some of the window frames. The cleanup was better than I could have done. After each window was installed, the guys cleaned the windows of their fingerprints! In both jobs, any time I needed to speak with the owner, he was available. I don't even compare costs for jobs because I know that whatever Tri-County does for me, the work is wonderful. My neighbor compared prices of companies and got new windows and after paying a great deal of money, they don't even close correctly. She is so sorry that she went with a cheap job.

+ 1 moreA perfect experience with a true professional. He pointed out the options - especially what to stay away from - and strove to utilize the best options for what he found. Quality work does not come cheap, but he made clear to stay away from quick fixes that would have to be re-done every couple of years. He was conscious of not using the most expensive methods, instead suggested doing the most work for the least amount of money, always trying to save the client as much money as the job went along. Two separate crews worked on the project at different time. They were all trustworthy gentlemen who were prompt, courteous, and neat.
Description of Work: Brick pointing, removal and rebuild wall, stucco new wall and opposing side, rebuild part of porch, treat and pain lintel above garage, re-tile part of porch, weatherstrip side of house.

Description of Work: I contracted Tri County to replace my roof several years ago. I found them to be very professional and knowledgable. I called them back a few years later to remodel my bathroom and kitchen. They did a fabulous job! They also painted the interior/exterior of my home. They made several repairs to the masonry. + 5 moreHaving a great deal of construction knowledge, I was more than impressed with the work preformed. Tri County was extremely competent in all aspects of the remodel: wiring, plaster wall repair, insulation, tile, plumping, etc. With the job encompassing a complete remodel of the first floor of a pre-war Colonial, that included the replacement of load bearing walls, I was most impressed with their ability to perform the work while we continued to live within the residency. Tri County came highly recommended from a friend and since it was an extensive amount of work they agreed to travel outside their normal area of business. I highly recommend this great company!

+ 6 moreThe work quoted was exactly the work performed and no new costs were incurred. I have other buildings and I would definetly call Tri County for future projects. They were careful not to harm the landscaping and they removed all debris.
Description of Work: Extensive brick pointing, water proofing and masonry were performed on my commercial building. The work was professional, timely and cost efficient.Tri County also made repairs to the flat roof on the building, window lintels and some window replacement.

+ 7 moreThe house was built in 1940 and we had not done any work in the kitchen since we purchased it approximately 25 years ago. The job was a complete overhaul down to removing a bearing wall that had previously divided the kitchen from the dining room. They opened plaster walls, rewired, re-framed and re-insulated everything. This process was a difficult one as we were still living in our home but the staff was incredibly clean and professional making the experience significantly less painful. The renovation was complete within 3 months of the beginning of demo and we are so happy with the work. We were so thrilled with Tri County we used them again to replace our roof - and they were done in one day! I highly recommend this great company!
