The prices and the staff in the store are acceptable but if you have a problem forget it. Even after making a special trip to their corporate location they did not offer any further help.

I needed to replace my old dishwasher. I wanted something simple. Did not need lots of and quot;bells and whistlesand quot;. I originally purchased a GE Audora stainless steel tub from Home Depot. My son (who owns a contracting company) installed the GE. After three weeks of H*** with the dishwasher not workng, having numerous phone conversations with HD and having to be at home for a Service Tech from GE to come out...HD agreed to take the dishwasher back and give me full credit. HD insisted that the dishwasher was installed improperly since they did not do it. I went to Orville's to buy another dishwasher. From the minute I walked in I felt like I was the only customer in the store. Plus all they sell is appliances....no tools, garbage bags, etc. The sales person (who is the store manager) was awesome. Did not try to talk me into a machine that I did not need which would cost more. Said they do not keep GE dishwashers in stock...they can order but not one GE was on the floor. I purchased a Whirlpool. They were running an install special - $29.00 for delivery and installation. At first I was not going to do, however, I was told if they installed I would not be charged sales tax....so it was a wash. The installer was terrific....professional and neat. He said there was nothing wrong with how the other was installed since he found it very easy to install the Whirlpool. So now I am very happy. I will continue to shop at Orville's for any appliance need I may have. It truly makes sense....all they deal with are appliances.

For the most part, our experiences have been good, the prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly, but there was one issue with a dryer. If something goes wrong with an appliance after it is delivered, they will not back it up. They will service the appliance, but they refuse to replace it, even if it's delivered defective. There's a disclaimer on the back of the reciept that everything is final sale. The bottom line is they are fabulous until you have a problem, then the service is lacking. My husband and I now buy our appliances from Lowe's.

Next day delivery was on time. Servicemen were polite and knowledgeable. Removal of old machine was easy and clean. We purchased new hoses and that turned out to be fortunate since the old hoses had hardened and probably would have leaked soon.Operation of machine was explained and all old parts removed. New machine works fine.

The salesman was very helpful. He told us how great the dishwasher worked. He owned one himself and gave us his first hand experience.

He was a class act, very professional. Overall they were excellent and I will use them again in the future.
