Climate King Heating Cooling and Duct Cleaning

We began by having Nate come out for a furnace and A/C inspection since we had recently moved into our home. He was very thorough and repaired/cleaned several parts on our furnace. Nate found a cracked heat exchanger in the furnace which meant it needed to be replaced. Our furnace is 17 years old, so it was about that time anyway. He also discovered some pitting in a few parts in the A/C unit. We set up an appointment for the following week to have him replace our furnace with a more efficient 2-stage model as well as have him zone off our ducts so there is one zone downstairs and one zone upstairs. It took a day and a half to have everything completed, including replacing the worn out parts on the A/C unit and having a whole house humidifier installed on the furnace. Nate was prompt each time he came to the house. He was upfront about every cost and was not pushy at all. I research everything I purchase and all of his recommendations were spot on. He cleaned up the work area very well when finished. We are very happy with Nate and Climate King and would highly recommend them!

They were great. They had to reschedule initially due to an emergency call which was fine because my old furnace was working. They called a day in advance to do this which was appreciated. They arrived on time and completed the replacement as expected. I didn't know my house could be this warm. My gas bill was down approx. $40/month with the thermostat being 2 degrees higher than where I typically set it during the winter. Very pleased.

Nathan came out very quickly and arrived promptly at the designated time. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the issue very quickly, and then performed a thorough check of the unit to ensure everything else was working properly. He then provided feedback about some parts that may need to be addressed in the future. I look forward to working with him again regarding any future Heating/Cooling needs.

General cleaning and checkup of AC system. Minor issue that should be fixed with a new thermostat.

I purchased an AC inspection in the Angie's list offers. I was contacted very quickly and service was scheduled for the following day. They arrived right on time. They were quick, professional, and not pushy on upselling. I plan on contacting them for future needs.

Overall pretty good experience. I paid a pretty good chunk of change (in my perspective) but due to the age of the system and last time it was worked on it probably was on par. Tech was knowledgeable and friendly.

Very well. Furnace made loud noises one evening. Next morning it stopped. Called. They came within hours, diagnosed, picked up a part, and it was fixed by noon. Very quick service.

Then they went and found that the igniter was wearing out. They took the igniter out and showed it to her and then told her that the igniter was gonna be like a $300 bill. Like a $150, $200 for the igniter and then the labor and I balked at it. I didn't like the; you know like a car repair person might say Oh your something or other else is wrong with it and it needs to be fixed and I didn't like the bump up so we asked him to put the igniter back in. I asked him if was broken he said no, if it still works then put it back in and let the furnace still work and we paid him for his service call or whatever it was, the retail bill cause we obviously weren't buying parts and service from him so he charged us for the call. So basically I wouldn't recommend him again, I wouldn't use him again. It's nothing they did wrong, it was mostly my attitude towards the bump up. I didn't go for that. Their skill level might be an A and I wouldn't know it cause I didn't hire him to do any skill level. They changed the filter and looked at my furnace parts. They didn't do anything wrong, I gave them an A. They found they problem, they gave us the tune up so they did what they said they were gonna do. Very pleasant person, very congenial. Apologized and went right back down and put the igniter back in and everything was just fine.

It wasn't bad. My equipment is fairly new. It's only a couple years old. It wasn't real expensive. I was pretty happy with them, except he came up with something. They wanted me to replace a part or something and to be honest with you I just didn't think it was necessary on a system that was 2 years old. I've had tune ups done by other people and the part in question they would just just clean it off a little bit instead of telling me to replace it. I'm very hesitant to use them again, I'll be honest with you.

the pricing for the zone valve was at least 1/3 higher than what we experienced in prior zone valve replacements. They tried to sell me an annual maintenance package to get a discount. It felt that they jacked up the price to try & sell me the maintenance package. After getting the high zone valve price, I had no desires to sign up for their maintenance plan.

Twin air is very responsive to my service request. Technician arrived on time and fixed the problem. Their charge is very resonable. This was my second time of using this company and I will certainly use them again.

They did a good job for us. What stood out was their responsiveness and I think they were good communicators.

Chad and Michael were great. They were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and did exactly what they were supposed to. I'm enjoying a nice warm home !

I am quite disturbed by this company. They are prompt and neat, but that's it. I took out a service contract with them for a year. I was new to the area and did not know of any company to call and gave Twin Air a try. First they told me the humidifier on the furnace was not working and needed to be replaced. When I had them service the A/C, I was told it would never last through the season and needed to be replaced. Both of the items above turned out to be working just fine after a second opinion, and are still working to date . By the way, after being told by Twin Air that the humidifier wasn't working, when they came the next time, I asked a different tech if it was working, and he told me it was fine. When I questioned the company, I had gotten a very nasty response in return, suggesting the second opinion was given by an idiot. The worst was just recently when I had the furnace tune-up. Rick checked everything and then told me that I had a carbon monoxide leak and it was very dangerous to be in the house and that I should replace the furnace that very week. I then got a second opinion again, since I can't spend money I don't have and I am suspect of this company. Again, the furnace is working fine and it is NOT leaking CO2. I then purchased a monitor to read the CO2 and it reads zero!! This man sat in my house and told me how dangerous it was for me to stay in my home with that furnace, scared me half to death. I feel this is not only cruel, but unethical to outright lie to someone just to make a sale. I will never have this company in my home again and I would not recommend them to anyone, they are out to make a buck and don't care how they do it. As usual, I suspect I will get a nasty response once again, since this is how they operate and I am looked upon as "just another stupid woman".

The workers were on time. The supervisor originally wanted me to be available over a 4 hour window, but when I complained we settled on an hour window of time. The workers were polite, clean and professional. They got the job done in a reasonable period of time and there were no added expenses.
