they performed the task that I paid for in a professional manner. he arrived on time and was very neat and explained what he was doing and answered my questions. I got exactly what I paid for.

He made some recommendations for additional work that should be done but was not pushy. He gave us estimates for this work that seemed very reasonable.

I recently had a boiler pipe break in my first floor ceiling, which caused flooding and required a complete tear out of my first floor loving room. I am dealing with the insurance company now, and thanks to Twin Air Heating and Cooling, I was able to reach the owner during weekend hours to get a rough estimate emailed to me to hurry the claim process. Thank you so much for caring about my needs and my home. In addition, the price I was quoted seemed reasonable and comparable to the other estimates. A++++++ service!

Twin Air came to the house promptly (within an hour or so of calling them). The technician was courteous and professional. We liked that they determined that they could make the repair and that a complete replacement of the boiler was not necessary. The repair and maintenance were performed quickly and the boiler was running properly right away. The price was fair and we did not feel like they were just trying to sell us a new boiler. We would definitely use them again for repairs and maintenance of our home's heating system.

Representative from Twin Air Heating & Cooling called the day before our scheduled appointment. He was working in our neighborhood and could come by in a few minutes if it was convenient. It was. He arrived shortly and the work was completed (no major problem). Very professional. We were glad that their representative took the initiative to ask if it was convenient to check our furnace a day early, since later that day a blizzard and severe cold front hit the Buffalo area, and we were confident that our furnace was running properly.

Called on a weekend and they fit us in and arrived promptly. Technician was knowledgeable and got everything working. We just bought the house and apparently the furnace hadn't been maintained in years. After a thorough cleaning it started up just fine and has been working flawlessly for several weeks. Very professional. They had their prices and services clearly outlined. Can't really put a price on heat when you have two young kids but I thought they were very reasonable. I didn't compare them to other companies though so I don't know. I could have solved the problem with a basic tune-up but decided to get a higher level of cleaning (at a higher price of course).

It worked out fine. They were on time and prompt. Their work was fine. The furnace was fine before I used them and it is fine now. It was just a checkup and I did not have too much interaction with them. I emailed them and they came out. Everything was fine. I did not spend any more than the big deal price. They came out to do the work maybe three or four weeks after I purchased the deal. I am not sure if I would use their services again in the future.

Service person on time. Went directly to work checked out entire system. Was impressed with small video camera used to check area not visible to naked eye. young man very courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable. would not hesitate to use again in fact allowed him to place a logo for future calls.

We purchased an Angie's list $49 furnace service deal from this company - not 100% sure of the date of our furnace inspection, but here is how it went: |The technician phoned my wife about 2 hours before the scheduled appointment asking if he could come then. When my wife explained she had to work and couldn't get there but a half hour sooner than the scheduled appointment, he was a bit disgruntled, but capitulated. He also seemed to be preparing my wife that he was going to "find something wrong". After about 10 minutes, he explained we had a cracked heat exchanger and showed a video camera image that wasn't terribly telling to an untrained eye. He said he would have to shut off our furnace, that it was leaking carbon monoxide. After my wife was questioned him, he was again disgruntled. She explained we would take care of the shut off and get a second opinion. He stated we did not need a 2nd opinion. He left before completing any of the other furnace maintenance items we had paid for. When we called for a 2nd opinion, the new technician showed us how the Twin Air technician had written with permanent marker on an inside panel that the heat exchanger was cracked. The 2nd technician did a similar exam and measured carbon monoxide emissions internally and externally at the exterior output and found no heightened CO readings. The 2nd technician did state that the furnace was nearing the end of its usual lifespan, but not that it needed imminent replacement. I could not trust this company in the future based on our experience and feel ripped off since no furnace service was actually done, but the heat exchanger analysis.

Very professional service. They did not try to "sell" me anything - nor did they try to tell me that my furnaces were in need or repair, etc.

8 o clock on the night before Thanksgiving and my furnace starts clicking and stopped blowing warm air. Called Nick at Twin Air and he said he'd be over soon. Less than half an hour later he was at my house. After troubleshooting the problem he found the solution and fixed it. Furnace sounds great and the heat feels wonderful! I couldn't be happier with the service and price. Thanks Nick!

Checked and cleaned furnace. Showed up on schedule, very professional. Very satisfied with service.

I purchased the half-price furnace cleaning. The technician came on time and seemed to clean the furnace proper;y. He pointed out a small gas leak and offered to fix it for $75. This seemed like a lot, but who's going to fool around with a gas leak? He then told me my humidifier is not working and that he culd fix it for about $300, but it really should be replaced for $535. He also told me my thermostat was not working properly. Since I'd been adjusting the temp. all summer with no problems at all, I became skeptical of everything he said, and the prices seemed awfully high. I called my regular service provider. He was aghast when I told him the price for the repair on the gas leak. He also said that the price I was quoted for a reprir to the humidifier would buy an entirely new unit. All in all, it was a disappointing experience.

Performed routine heating check from Angie's list Big Deal offer. Technician Nate checked furnace for cracks and CO levels no problems found. Vacuumed furnace and checked humidifier. Replaced water supply line to humidifier and filter. I was told what the problem was and given a quote as to the price before work was performed. I suspected that there was a problem with the humidifier so I was not surprised that it needed to be serviced. I also decided to purchase a yearly contract for service calls and two check up service calls for the furnace and then for the air conditioning system. With the contract I received a 30% discount on the repair to the humidifier. The cost I paid includes the repair and the contract paid in full. The contract can also be paid monthly and there are two levels of the plan available. I chose the higher of the plans. I was very pleased with the service and the technician answered all my questions including his education, experience and length of time he has been in business. Definitely would recommend Twin Air Heating and Cooling.

They explained the work clearly and got it all finished in a timely manner. My only minor complaint is that the technician wore his little "protect the floor" boot covers into the basement and then back upstairs which got the area rug in our den dirty. I would recommend he just wear the boot covers in the main floor of the house because most unfinished basements tend to be pretty grungy. Overall they did a good job and I will definitely use their services again.

I was on vacation in San Francisco when one of our tenants called and said their boiler wasn't working. I had already purchase, through Angie's List, the boiler tune up for my own boiler so I called them. They took care of everything. When I returned home a different tenant called. She said that her unit was causing black soot to be all over her apartment. I called Twin Air again. They piggy backed my tenants appointment to take place after my tune up. I was so impressed with there business model, the way they tried to save me money and time. I am very happy with all three jobs and would recommend Twin Air to everyone!

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. I didn't talk to him, my husband did.

This is a new home for me so I wasn't sure what to expect with the furnace. I bought it from an estate and was not sure how old the furnace was or the condition of the furnace. Nate reassured me it was a relatively newer furnace and looked in good shape. He checked everything over and put my mind at ease. Peace of mind is worth every penny!

Nate arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. He was professional and explained the various working parts of the furnance and answered several questions. Did a complete inspection top to bottom/in and out. Replaced a worn out part. GREAT SERVICE

SWEET! I HAVE HEAT! I had Twin Air come to do the Deal to go over the furnace & clean it out. (See my other review) Two weeks later my furnace wouldn't go on late Friday night - boy was I not happy, but since it worked when Twin left, it didn't make sense on a 3 year old furnace. I called my warranty company to get someone to come out - that company was supposed to call me within 24 hours - they didn't. So I took a chance & called Twin Monday morning (yes, he scolded me for not calling sooner & putting up with being cold). They sent someone over less than 2 hours later. Sure enough, after he looked through the furnace, it wasn't the furnace that was the problem but rather the gas line feeding into the furnace. (UGH talk about bad luck!) About 40 minutes after arrival, everything was working just fine. These guys all take extra care to make sure there are no gas leaks when they are done - they are serious about it! I called my home warranty company back & told them what they could say to the "other guy" (not for polite company) and canceled the claim. These are definitely my go to guys here.

It went well. I ended up buying one of his maintenance plans.

Can you say Life Saver! I bought the big deal to have the furnace looked at as I bought the house this year. He was able to find 2 gas leaks (bubbled pretty good) and when I told him I was allergic to the additive they put in the gas for smell, he checked over the water heater gas line & found a leak there as well. This space is next to the basement room set up to be used by my daughter & it would have been a horrible risk to her over the winter. Also turned out the batteries had exploded in the thermostat - it wouldn't turn on - so I had him replace that aswell since it was relatively cheap & he would do it right then. The humidifier filter was the original one that came with the furnace & he showed me how to use it.

First, calling thisr service a tune-up is misleading. Nate ?tuned? nothing. Rather I believe you should rename your service as a check-up which was done. Rub is what else transpired during his visit. I, unfortunately, did not remain in the basement throughout the visit. Suddenly both pilot lights on both furnaces mysteriously went out. Nate had no explanation accept to say maybe the gas supply had been cut. Oh yeah sure. I immediately checked the HW tanks next to the furnaces and mysteriously its pilot light was burning just fine. Funny, what a coincidence! Both pilot lights went out at the same time as Nate was here. The Pilot Lights that have been burning without interruption for over a year! In the past other contractors have come in and actually cleaned the inside of my furnace, not this guy. He did install one filter in one furnace but didn't bother with the other furnace. This is no ?tune-up?. I know your industry have standards for CO, and for that I am glad. But next Nate tells me my chimney vent is leaking CO up to 200ppm which he didn?t or couldn?t show me the device reading. I was skeptical, so we lite the other furnace to try and replicate the reading on the first furnace. Oddly, the same exact with furnace with the same vent configuration blew no more than 3ppm. A significant difference, ya think? I asked to redo the offending furnace but Nate didn?t seem interested in doing that. Moreover, I have two Co2 detectors within 8 feet of both furnaces. Nate then voiced his concern for safety which is laudable and that I should repair the vent tubing and remove an 80?s airflow regulator pipe which was installed by the insulation contractor to improve heat loss. When I questioned the need for that he said he would ?write it up? and shut down my furnaces. I said, no he wasn?t. Anyhow, he turned both furnaces off, wrote up that the ?problem? should be fixed and noted that he could fix them for $650.00. This whole process seems to be slanted toward ?finding? things to repair. Again, I have had other contractors here and while I am not positive, I am sure that at least one of them in the last few years tested the units for Co2 and not one found that situation out of the norm.
