After deciding that we wanted to put our money in our local economy not in that of Rochester, NY., we went to Bernhardts Remodeling Center in Lakeville, NY. We were treated very professionally from our initial exploratory inquiry to the delivery of our cabinetry directly to our home. We already had a contractor who installed our kitchen. The process went very smoothly. After three visits to the showroom we scheduled our first meeting. We were never treated with hard sales techniques. At every step of the ordering process, we were provided all the detailed information necessary so that there were no surprises. We couldn't be more pleased with our new kitchen cabinetry and the easy, professional process and demeanor of the staff and owner.

After a month of phone calls and visits to the showroom me and my wife had an appointment to have our bathroom floor installed and had just placed the order for the vanity, countertop, sink, mirror, and other hardware. As of that time the only complaint we had was that we would not receive return phone calls promptly or at all. This I could live with, but when nobody arrived to the scheduled appointment for installing the floor I was very upset. When we called and complained the ladies in the office were rudely informed us that there was never an appointment made and we needed to pay half first. This would have been an understandable situation but when we were in the showroom two days before ordering the vanity we tried to pay the half on the floor and were told not to and they would take full payment on installation. Now seven months later I still have not received a call back about either the floor or the rest of the work.

They do a very good job. They are excellent. They were really easy to work with. The quality was excellent. They came back and fixed a shelf at no charge after 2 years.

We invited him to our home to discuss some changes that we wanted to make to our kitchen. He is well known through the area, he came when he said he would, he was prompt, he was courteous, and he was knowledgeable. He agreed with what we wanted to do and we threw around a lot of suggestions. He put together a plan and gave us quotes. He is extremely knowledgeable, he and his workers installed everything, and it was ready when he said it would be. It was professional and we have no complaints.
