"Ralph, the owner and refinisher did an awesome job. It was exactly what we asked for. We could not be happier. He was very prompt and professional. He installed a good exhaust fan in the window, taped off the doorway and put coverings on the floor. When he was finished he cleaned everything up and it was spic and span when he left. In addition he was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him!"

When Victor called back, it was to tell me that it's usually not worth the money to remove and replace old grout in such a situation. It's a huge, fiddly, time-consuming job and mildew could just grow back in a few years anyway. He spend all the time I needed on the phone, educating me and discussing the pros & cons of various options. He took time out from his day to aid me with valuable information and just as valuable advice, preferring to give up his time for free rather than to have me, a stranger who was fully prepared to hire him, spend my money unwisely. "DO NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman. I hired him to install a stone walkway and it is a complete disaster. The workmanship is terrible. The walkway is falling apart, breaking and lifting and is a trip hazard. I had to take him to court to get my payment refunded. I was awarded the judgment, but Dan Ford has NOT paid. I ended up having to file a transcript of judgment with the County Court and have a lien placed on him and his business. He still has NOT paid. Do NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman."
