Description of Work: Modern Scapes did a great job and we are pleased with the result. Joe and his team were knowledgeable, skilled and hardworking. We had 3 competitive quotes. Joe’s was no only the best price but he quoted a more quality product.

+ 0 moreThe project was a success. Joe was very good at concept and willing to make changes as the project evolved. It's not easy to find a guy like Joe. Hard working, capable, and fair. Looking to find more projects he can do.
Description of Work: Removal of old roots in preparation for the installation of new hardscape design. Also, the repair of a cracked concrete wall and the installation of a blue stone cap.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. I put off a repair of my lawn and seeding until mid-summer before giving in to the fact I couldn't physically do it myself. I called Joe for an estimate. As we talked, I expanded the job to include some stone border and mulch. I had a green lawn much sooner than I expected. The border and mulch look a lot better than I could have done on my best days. Before he left, we discussed the next project. I will use him again.

+ 3 moreI am extremely happy with Joe's professionalism, his punctuality and high quality work. I would not hesitate to hire him again or to refer him.
Description of Work: My project required a drainage ditch dug from the house to the street. Joe did an excellent job of combining two gutters at ends of house to sump pump pipe outside house and to the road. He recovered everything with soil and seed. All water problems are greatly reduced. Joe added a concrete step to my front porch to bring it up to code and now the mailman is happy too. Joe mulched all around the front and edged. Joe also built a very well made, safe railing alongside my back deck and added two pressure treated steps ad finished the skirting around the deck so my cat can't get under there anymore........joe also has a very well qualified team mate he uses on some jobs.

+ 1 moreIt went extremely well. Joseph and Nate were approachable and eager to please, The work was skilled, thorough, and professional. They were always courteous and efficient. When we discussed what was to be done Joseph had several very helpful suggestions which added immensely to the overall outcome. Our yard has never looked better!
Description of Work: Yard and garden Spring cleanup. Edging and mulching. Pressure washing of deck. 4 full days of work.
