Description of Work: Huge mistake by me to ever ever have this guy replace my driveway..he did not pay any attention to the ground water and or piping under the previous pavement....and yes I told him to remove it. He did the "first yr primary stone and base coat....but but later I found out that his 6" of stone should have been 12" and the underground piping "should have been replaced with Schedule 40 PVC etc.....it's now 3 yrs later and this guy has never made an effort to fix the problem ..or contact me ...."Buyer Beware" Do not contract with "Allstar Paving" for anything.....

Description of Work: After a rough start due to weather, Allstar Seal and Paving proceeded to prepare the driveway. Back in the 60's 2 strips of concrete were poured to accommodate just the tires on a car. Years later when the driveway was actually paved, these concrete strips started to protrude up through the blacktop and looked awful. Marty Gilona from Allstar arrived on time for the job estimate and although he was not feeling well, he took all the time necessary to go over the work I wanted done with me.....taking measurements, offering suggestions and answering my questions. The driveway was to be widened by about 5 feet,a parking "pad" next to the driveway was to be lengthened by several feet and they were going to cut through the concrete strips to remove them. Unfortunately, they could not remove the concrete strips because they were buried too deep for them to cut through. Marty guaranteed that they could still prevent these concrete strips from showing through. I told him to go ahead with his plan, but if they should reappear I would haunt him through eternity. The work proceeded and Stage 1 was completed on May 15, 2014. They will be returning around July of 2015 for Stage 2 which will be the application of the top coat.

We are very pleased with the job they did. Every aspect was done meticulously, and they obviously take pride in their work. Marty and his wife were very pleasant and efficient in their scheduling and notifying us when the work was to be done.

Description of Work: Superb job. My driveway was crumbling pretty badly from several winters of snow blower usage. Marty and his team did a nice repair job and sealing work.

Two men were punctual and worked very hard to get surface prepared for application of the sealer. They edged it to get rid of weed and grass growth, then they brushed it and used a blower as well witht the brush to clear dirt and debris on the driveway. Then they spread the sealer on the driveway and put a rope barrier up so no one would walk or drive on my driveway. It looks very good.
Description of Work: clean, edge sides brush and reseal with asphalt.

The owner of Allstar Seal and Paving, Martin Gilona, was very professional. He and his employees applied the 1st coat of asphalt on our driveway in June, 2010. Mr. Gilona gave us a follow up call in regard to the 2nd coat this past spring. We advised him we'd call him at a later time for an appointment. He is very friendly and personable. He and his men were punctual and polite. They do quality work and did an excellent job for us.
