This is the second time I attempted to use this provider. The first time, approximately 5 years ago, after my wife and I spent months trying to pick the right materials for our project, the owner left us a message on our voice mail stating that he had wasted too much time with us and did not want to work on our project. We were baffled to say the least. I guess making sure we were happy with our choices was not part of the plan. I was angry at the time and posted a negative review on Angie's List instead of letting it go. Eventually, I asked Angie's List to remove my review as I felt perhaps I was a little too harsh. Fast forward to this year. We never had the work done and decided now was the time. On a whim, I emailed the owner and asked if he would be willing to reconsider the project. He agreed, even going so far as to admit he didn't handle things well the first time. We scheduled a time to meet at my house so we could discuss the project. He showed up as scheduled on July 23rd. We discussed the materials we desired and how we wanted the finished project to look. He took notes, drew some rough sketches, and took measurements. He asked me to email him the name of the manufacturer and color we wanted once we were sure. I did that on July 27th. On July 30th he emailed me to let me know he was behind on his proposals and he would be in touch. On August 10th we emailed him because we hadn't heard from him. On August 14th we attempted to reach him by phone. On August 17th he emailed me to let me know he would have the proposal to me by August 20th, which he did. On August 25th, we emailed him with some questions regarding the proposal. On August 29th we attempted to reach him by phone to discuss the project. On September 4th he emailed me and asked me to call his cell. I called and left a message. I then texted him to let him know I left a message and he texted me back stating he would call me shortly. He never called. That was the last time we heard from him. I have never been given the run around like I have from this provider. We wasted more than a month trying to get in touch with him. Total lack of professionalism. At least the first time he had the decency (if you want to call it that) to call and leave a message. The only reason I kept trying was because he had a good reputation with regard to the quality of work. Ultimately, shame on me for letting this happen again. I'm sure if the provider responds, he will try to spin it so I look like the bad guy instead of owning up to his lack of courtesy.
