JSP Home Services replaced our old Minisplit. It was one of the hottest days of the year, We called scheduled and JSP arrived the next day and completed the install by noon.

They're unreliable and don't show up for the confirmed scheduled appointment. Don't waste your time

Criminally negligent. I needed my furnace cleaned. Inexperienced technician tried desperately to sell me parts that he couldn't explain why I needed them. He left me with a non-working furnace while he ordered a rope gasket from far away. On top of that, he treated me as though I were feeble-minded (I'm a PhD in neuroscience). I begged JSP to send a different technician next time but, after weeks of waiting, they sent the same guy. This time he broke the igniter on my furnace. Later, three experts saw the broken part and independently agreed: this part doesn't break this way from use. JSP either accidentally or purposefully broke it. I am filing a civil complaint against them for damages.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! Service man quoted $900 to replace a toilet (I have the new toilet and all parts). This is a 1-2 hour job tops (we replaced the 2 toilets in our other bathrooms, ... took less than an hour for each). When I called the representative about this insane price, she asked if I wanted another plumber to come out and give a different estimate!!! They want $129 each time they come out, so each time a representative comes out (each of which will have a different quote for the same job apparently) they will charge you $129 just to give you an insane price on the job you ask them to do. DO NOT HIRE JSP to do ANY of your home care.

The guy did work but they overcharged me and sent someone to my house without his parts, I think they charged me for his time going to the store

A SATISFACTORY JOB WAS DONE. THE COST HOWEVER I BELIEVE THE COST WAS EXCESSIVE IN THAT IT WAS A SMALL MOTOR AND THE TECHNICIAN SPENT LESS THEN ONE AND A HALF HOURS IN TWO TRIPS.. ALSO I DID NOT RECEIVE A WRITTEN ESTIMATE AND WAS URGED TO PURCHASE AN EXPENSIVE SERVICE PLAN. THE TOTAL COST WAS $819.12. I BELIEVE I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BECAUSE I AM ELDERLY.

Fantastic! They are by far the most professional plumbing and heating company I have ever hired. They use the latest technology for customer service and are very responsive. Their communication is great! Work is great.

Was literally pushed out of the contract once I requested estimate appointment for potential well water pump replacement. The appointment, per the contract, would be free, however it wasn’t to be followed by any immediate work performed as my current pump, while being 14 years old, is still functioning. The appointment, therefore, wouldn’t generate a revenue for the company. The contract’s terms don’t deny such appointments. The justification that was given to me by the owner for removing me as their customer was that I was rude with his office people and his technicians. He made the decision unilaterally, without first discussing the matter with me. That accusation doesn’t have substance as I was very respectful to the technicians while they were providing service in my house. I did requested the office personal to not great me with cheesy statement “How can I make you smile?” as they were picking up phone calls. In addition, they weren’t fully alert while talking to me and projected poor training, at least superficial, in the subject of the field. That was the extend of my “rudeness”. In total, since fall of 2017, I paid the company of all the services, including emergency call(Sunday) for A/C repair, $1,300. Also, during that emergency call, the cause of the issue was incorrectly determined an I was given an estimate for the repair as $3,600, in addition to $600 that I already paid for the call. The correct repair was actually done by another company for $500.

I contacted several local companies when I wanted to get estimates for central A/C installation. I heard about JSP through the list serve at my place of employment and since the review was very positive I added them to my list. Four companies came out, one company never returned my calls to follow up for the quote, another suggested a system that I knew wouldn't work in my home (not enough attic space) and two companies followed through. JSP was one of those companies and what made the difference were the following: 1) JSP stands behind it's estimate and product. Your installation won't wind up being $1,000 more because of X, Y & Z - when they give you an estimate - that's the estimate. 2) They are THOROUGH. Not only did the technician take time to ask my my needs, my family's lifestyle and walk through and around the outside of my home - he thought about aesthetics as well. 3) The estimate is provided on the spot, hand-written, and explained in detail in case there are any questions. You don't have to chase them down to get the estimate or ask your last minute questions. 4) They are meticulous. Before beginning work they send out someone to do a walk-through to make sure every i is dotted and t is crossed BEFORE work begins. 5) Staff. THIS is where I cannot say enough. My situation was not the normal situation of someone calling to have Central A/C installed - there were extenuating circumstances and Ellen not only listened but she remembered, EVERY time that I spoke to her. I called JSP in February so the timing wasn't urgent and I made it clear that I had time . . . if Ellen and I went three weeks without speaking because of vacations, holidays, or because I just didn't get to it - she remembered me as if we had spoken the day before. I didn't feel like a "customer" - I felt like part of their family, as corny as that sounds. My calls were answered the same day, even if they weren't pressing and even after 5 pm. John, the owner, came out himself and spoke with me about my options as I looked to finalize what was discussed in February. I've never had such amazing customer service for something household related. You'd expect that when going to a spa, a hotel or buying a car - but in this case, they went above and beyond. I really cannot recommend JSP enough. If you want to work with a company that cares about your needs, preferences and your family - they're the ones to go with. If you don't care about service or follow through then you can go with anyone - but I truly believe JSP has the right idea about customer service and I hope they continue to grow as the good guys should. *No, I am not related to anyone nor did I know anyone at JSP prior to calling them for an estimate!*

I contacted the emergency number as we were worried about possible CO from the boiler. We were promptly contacted by someone else with the company who put us on the schedule for sometime between 12-4pm. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text, they text you when they are on their way, around 10am. John f. Was actually at my house 2 minutes before me as I was staying at my in laws house 10 minutes away. He actually called me to see if I was home and he waited for me as I was 2 minutes away. As far as the work, he was very thorough. He saw that my boiler had not been serviced in quite some time and that it was 33 Year’s old. I told him that we actually had somebody look at the furnace before we purchased the house and to service the boiler. Based on what he saw he seemed genuinely upset that the company that previously looked at the boiler has a license because of the shape that it was in. Needless to say we are looking at getting a new boiler and probably switching to natural gas from oil. Still pricing it out right now but will update my review if I choose JSP to install our new boiler. The cost we incurred during this visit was to keep the boiler running temporarily.

These guys were fabulous. I called at 2:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon--no heat. Called maybe three other vendors as well. These were the only guys to call back, and not only that, they came out by 4 p.m. and had a diagnosis done by 5. Incredibly responsive.

Several days after calling we received a visit from Steve, who manages client accounts/coordinates jobs, and John, president. Both men were professional and pleasant, and John went into detail in response to our questions, which gave us some confidence in the firm's competence. We were offered financing. We received estimates via email in a short time. Once we decided to proceed with JSP, Steve visited again with Travis, who determined materials needs and made an estimate of how long the install would take (2 days). Again, professional and pleasant demeanor, and questions answered with detail. Steve was able to subcontract fuel tank removal for a reasonable cost when we determined this was also required by our municipality. Steve filed the permit with our town early enough to start on schedule. Work was scheduled for the end of October. The work was conducted over three days, rather than two, but much of the reason for that lay with our propane supplier rather than than JSP. Overall I was pleased with the install. The crew was small, but well equipped and experienced. There was a company runner to bring items when needed rather than an installer having to leave. They also showed up with two trucks full of a huge selection of tools and materials. Damon and (another) John vastly exceeded my expectations as far as how pleasant I imagined it might be to have strangers working in the home all day. They did not mind explaining what they were doing, they worked steadily but without hurrying, and they treated one another with respect. They did not cause any damage to our home and they cleaned up after themselves. The third day was trying, with Damon having to return late in the evening after doing another job some distance away to hook up and fire the boiler after the propane was finally activated. This did not affect his attitude and we really appreciate his work getting everything absolutely right, including returning a week or so later to make a small adjustment to the system. Payment was requested once the fuel tank was removed a few days later and we had a chance to evaluate how everything was working. We will receive boiler maintenance for two more years, and we are confident the company stand behind their work. The company has automated text and email notifications to keep clients abreast of when staff are en route to your home (including a photo for those very concerned about safety). This was helpful.

I could not be more impressed. We closed on our first house on 12/23/16 and 2 weeks later had a furnace emergency. I have been in the hospitality and guest services industries my whole life and I have to say, it does NOT get better than this company. My first interactions were with Milly and Carly over the phone. They were sympathetic, understanding, and very focused on making sure to get us the help and service we needed. The next day, Paul showed up and immediately put our minds at ease. He walked me through everything, explaining what needed to be done and offering several options for service based on our needs. He was kind, knowledgable, and thorough. With his colleague Trevor, they quickly replaced our furnace and we managed to escape the freeze - whew! Paul also pointed out a few other deficiencies in our kitchen plumbing, but never once pressured me into getting them serviced. By this time, we were 100% confident in Paul and knew he had our best interest in mind. So of course we will go with JSP to get our kitchen fixed. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
