Description of Work: Repaired damaged roof on my rental home. Replaced sub-roof and shingles. Repaired interior drywall damage. |Tenant complained about leak so I called J&A about quick fix to stop leak. They blew me off. Colonial went and patched the leak and gave me an estimate for repair. The girl on the phone could not explain the repair and would not let me talk to the person who did the estimate. I paid them for the patch and found Five Star on Angie's List. They looked at the job, sent me pictures and explained the extent of the work. They did a great job, schedule repairs with my tenant and overall were very easy to work with. |

Description of Work: I had a total roof replacement done by Five Stars Exteriors. They did not start by the date agreed upon in the contract, but once the men arrived they were very organized, fast, and did a very good job at a lower price that the quotes I received from other companies. My roof is high with a very steep pitch and these roofers completed everything in 3 days.

Description of Work: They re-shingled half of my roof and removed two layers of old shingles. They did a good job and cleaned up completely.

Description of Work: Did not show up for scheduled appointment. I called, they offered to reschedule, but I couldn't work them into my schedule.

Description of Work: They sent a man to estimate the job. He spent an hour here, but I never heard from them again. I called 3 times and never got a call back. I spoke to the secretary a few times but still, no response!!! I was very disappointment because the guy seemed really nice. He should have just called and say he didn't want the job.

Description of Work: We needed emergency repair on our roof, a large section of which was blown off during the storm on 12/26/10. They came the day after we told them we wanted their company to do the work. The emergency repairs held until the entire roof was replaced. They removed the ice and snow and the old remaining roof, and completely installed a new one. They made sure that all work was cleaned up daily.

Description of Work: We hired Five Star Exteriors to put a new asphalt roof on our home. We really didn't know anyone since we just moved to the area, but liked that they were fully insured and a member of the Better Business Bureau. Lucky for us, Five Star turned out to be a fantastic, professional company with the most enthusiastic and courteous employees. They even worked on our roof in the snow! Cost quoted above for both Roof ($9897) and Gutters ($1895).
