After getting several quotes, last year we hired GenReady to install a house generator. Ed, the owner of the company impressed us from the start. He was knowledgeable and patiently explained the process as well as answering our questions. We knew right away that GenReady was the company for us. Lindsay kept us up to date as we moved along in the process. Our generator was installed last July. Andrew and his team installed the generator with expertise and efficiency. They took care to leave our house and yard spotless. Lindsay and Andrew were always happy to answer my questions and address me concerns. We’ve needed the generator only once (thank goodness) when our power went out due to a necessary power line repair after a car crashed into a utility pole on our street. When the power went out, our generator turned on within seconds. Our house was up and running for the four hours the line repair took, and if it weren’t for the blink of lights, we never would have known our generator was running. Every other week, our generator self tests for a few minutes giving us peace mind that it will be here for us if and when we need it. Just like the generator, GenReady is a company that runs efficiently and seamlessly. Just today, Lindsay called to tell me someone would be coming tomorrow to change the oil which reminded me that I am long overdue in submitting this well deserved rave review. Thank you to the entire GenReady team (and to Great White Propane) for all you’ve done to help us know we can weather any power outage.

They handled everything from obtaining permits to scheduling inspections and did a great job with everything. Very professional and I couldn't be more pleased.

They were great. I've used them. It was a one-stop-shop. They did gas, electric, they were great.

I have been a homeowner for 46 years, and have dealt with my share of home improvements and repairs over this period. My experience with Gen-Ready stands in the top 10%. From initial contact and estimate to securing building permits and installation, the process went smoothly and professionally. Ed Rieff, his son Andrew, office staff and plumbing subs were knowledgeable, responsive and did the generator installation at a competitive price. (I got estimates from three providers.) I highly recommend.

The job was professionally done and completed in one day . They did a great job . Neat and clean Would definitely recommend.

They arrived right on time and got to work. They systematically went through each of the tasks and had everything done by around Noon. They were very professional and did good work. They cleaned up and left everything spotless. While they worked they explained what they were doing and answered any questions I had. I hope to have them return to do some work on rewiring our detached garage.

Great service from initial walk through to installation very friendly and accommodating had a last minute request and they came back on Saturday to complete would defintiley use them again.

Ed Reiff, the owner of the company met with us and wrote up a contract outlining all that they would do and supply. His young staff arrived on time when they said that they would be here. They set right to work and installed the new generator and the tank for propane. Others worked on the electrical panel and removed the remnants of the 50 year old generator that we had. They were very efficient, cleaned up the area. They did an excellent job. We are very happy with their work. We felt that his price was very fair.

Installation of a home generator requires perfection which is exactly what you will get with USI.The entire process went extremely well. They arrived on the job exactly as scheduled. This is a family run business, with an outstanding work crew. They have a full complement of trained workers who know exactly what to do to achieve a perfect result.Ed, the owner is on site, and demands perfection, which as i noted is exactly what you will get with his team. Installing a home generator, requires electrical and plumbing work. In addition to having a full work crew, these guys have worked together, and it shows. Every step of the process is checked and double checked.Despite the work, and materials used, they are neat, and do a full clean up. They coordinate the town follow up inspection, so you don't need to do a thing. I have delt with many contractors, companies, etc and USI is at the top of my list. Highly recommended.

USI Electric and Ed were so professional, prompt, knowledgeable and overall fantastic to deal with. Over the years I have been involved in many construction projects and I have to say, my interactions with the company and staff were top notch. I am now ready for any electrical failure! Kudos to Ed and his crew at USI Electric..no need to go anywhere else!

USI Electric was responsive when I requested a quote. Their pricing was comparable. They came when scheduled and completed the project as promised. The property was left clean and orderly. They cleaned up the work area in the house. All in all, a positive experience. I have had them back to quote on additional electrical work that needs to be done.
