Stuck with a house of expensive windows half of which are defective but cannot be fixed because "manufacturer is not doing painted windows at this time" or the past couple years apparently. Have a large picture window separating and flexing due to poor installation. Was also supposed to he fixed and never was. The son has been rude about it since the beginning and almost annoyed that we would bring up the constant issues. Workers were rude, smoking, messy and only worsened as we would request them kindly to clean up after themselves so my family was not stepping on shards of wood, nails and debris left in excess. Windows are very hard to latch. They look nice but who cares if it doesn't function properly and can't be fixed. After responding to another clients review with my experience, i was softly threatened to keep my experience to myself and to handle through him. I tried this but it got me nowhere. Windows have been our biggest home investment yet and feel that others should be warned so they don't have the same poor experience and left with brand new windows that function like theyre ready to be replaced already. Make a better choice than we did so you can be happy.

They did a great job. Showed up everyday until the job was complete. Made repairs as things were found under the old siding. It looks beautiful! The only thing is I wish they had pointed out we hadn't included the chimney and a small verification trim that I would have liked to have had included in the job.

All went very well!! Couldn't be happier!

Getting the order to come in was a bit delayed and we had to call and ask where is it and when. But otherwise they were quick, neat and the window is truly beautiful!

I had seen them on TV, but they did have very good recommendation. They are extremely good. They are very very professional. They showed up on time. They did the work in the time that they said, cleaned up like they said they were going to. We did have one issue with one window and they came right back and fixed it. We are extremely happy. They were little pricey, but they were worth the money. They were amazing. When they came to measure before they saw the windows they were here I mean I can't say enough good things about them. I plan to use them again at some point.

Everything went good but I do not remember the cost of the service.

From initial emails to completion, everything was handled in a professional manner. David Jones was sincere enough to provide me with a basic quote from information I provided in an email (number of windows and window dimensions). Based on other research I did, this is unheard of. The estimate ended being VERY close to the actual project price. Ok. So here's how it all went down. I researched local and regional window installers using Angie's list and the interwebs. As I mentioned above, I contacted David and got a wealth of information, including pricing estimates, financing options and product information. David was very forthcoming with information both via email and by phone. I was able to research the window manufacturer they work with to get an understanding of their products as well as what I was getting myself into pursuing this sort of project. Whilst at the State Fair, I contacted another vendor in order to attempt to compare apples to apples. Wary of a prolonged dog and pony sales pitch, we invited this representative to our house to hear their presentation. At the very least, we would learn something. Although the meeting went for a l-o-o-o-ng 3 hours, we did indeed learn several things: 1) much of the information about how replacement windows work, etc. that I had discovered whilst scouring the internet was confirmed; Theirs was a professional presentation and added to our understanding significantly. 2) for our application and our situation, the windows offered by the Window Broker would be more than adequate 3) compared to other vendors, including the one visiting our house, these windows, relatively speaking, were a bargain We then had David over at our house. This meeting went about an hour or so. It was a much more low key presentation. Perhaps this is also because we had already communicated via email and the phone. The approach to sales was significantly different to the first vendor we dealt with (not meant as a negative - merely a contrast in styles). I ended up thinking that if you expected to learn windows 101, you might be disappointed. Because I tend to research things into the ground and had sat through a presentation for the previous vendor, this felt like a breath of fresh air to me and my wife. David emailed me papers the next day which I put completed and in the mail. One of his workers arranged a time to come over to do more precise measurements at a time that was convenient for me. About two weeks prior to installation, I called the Window Broker to see when installation would be scheduled as we were coming up on the holiday season. I left a message and someone got back to me immediately to schedule a time to our mutual benefit. Two crews were dispatched to our home to perform the installation. They were friendly and professional and worked all day. They spent a significant amount of time outside (fortunately. the weather was good until near the end) finishing the installation. They cleaned up well after themselves - given the amount of debris that came out of the house and I could see in the back yard, you wouldn't know they were there afterwards. My wife looked at the installation from the back yard and was very pleased. The windows we opted for are vinyl. As such, they are a little and quot;bulkierand quot; than our previous wood windows. We have already adjusted to this, but it should be noted as it is a difference. We opted for triple panes, as this was a and quot;free upgradeand quot; offered at the time - of course we would take it. A month in to having the windows, they seem to be working as advertised. I can't speak to energy efficiency as we still have a lot of leaky windows where the heat can escape. However, these windows, as one would expect, are significantly quieter than the previous ones. Also, no outside air infiltration whatsoever. My only regret is that I have another 18 or so windows to eventually replace. OUCH!! Ok. I realize this was long. Would I work with the Window Broker again and am I pleased with the windows and service? To all parts of the question I offer an unequivocal 'Yes'. Once these windows have been paid off, I plan to continue replacing. I think the windows we purchased are of good quality, the prices reasonable, the service solid and the installation professional. When making investments in one's home you can't ask for more. There are no doubt other fine companies that install quality replacement windows in the Southern Tier of New York. I feel fortunate that we did our business with the Window Broker,

This was part two of a fall project to replace two entry doors and a storm door. One crew consisting of two workers arrived on time. They were very courtious and introduced themselves. At almost the same time tohe door supplier arrived with all materials. The crew was here for six hours. The doors were installed and look fantastic. The cleanup was spotless. Installation was very professional. This was my second experience with this organization. I would not hesitate to have them back for a third project. A very professional and well run small business.

This is a very professional organization. The estimates were in writing and the details were outlined very well. The forman of the crews made an advanced visit to review the job and do final measurements. On the day of the work the contractor sent two crews with two trucks so that the work could be completed in one day. The work was done in a very professional level. The workmen were polite and friendly. The work was completed in one day. The cleanup was fantastic. I have already hired these folks to replace two doors on my house. These folks may not give you the rock bottom price estimate but in my opinion price and value are two different things. It's nice to deal with professionals.

Everything went perfect, labor is not covered under the warranty, but Window Broker included it anyway. They are the best!

Jim came out to the house and gave me some brochures. He was not really interested in anything to do with the doors, even giving a flip comment about just getting the doors fixed. I want my deck doors replaced as they don't open well! I do not just want the hole in the screen fixed. Since I am not doing windows this year though it seemed like the sale didn't matter! Trust me-if you call the window broker make sure you are ready to make window upgrades if you want anything else done as well. Otherwise nothing will get done for you! We showed him in his brochures which types of doors we wanted and he said he'd call us the next day with quotes. We still have not heard anything back from Jim. I was asked when I first called them how I had come to contact them and I said it was based on Angie's List reviews. I guess Jim forgets that I can leave feedback on my experience too. Luckily for me I was talking with a builder that my parents have used and he is happy to help me out. My new doors will be getting installed next week and they will be doing my new windows later this fall as it was much more affordable than I thought.

It was the second time I've used them so I obviously like them. They are reasonably priced for the quality of the windows. The workmanship is good. They are always neat and do what they say. I have confidence that if I had any problems, they would have been receptive.

Very pleased from start to finish. From the gentleman that came for the estimate to the installers,very professional. Did what they said they would do, when they said and at the price they stated. No attempt to upsell. If you need replacement windows I highly recommend them.

Window Broker Bay Window purchase and installation went well from beginning to finish. The design consultant was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. He discussed all aspects of the product and documented in the company's proposal/quote, all aspects of the product, warranty, and what will happen with the old window. The installation specialist who made the detailed measurements was prompt and was able to make what ended up being accurate measurements for the replacement bay window. The installation crew worked efficiently, were professional during their time at my residence, and were diligent in cleaning the work site when they were complete. Since the installation, the weather has turned cold and now in the middle of winter and I have not observed any drafts around the windows. I have been very satisfied with their product and the work they performed. The price for the product and installation is more expensive than their local competitors, but I believe it was worth the extra money for the results which I have received. Hopefully, the window will continue to be draft-free and defect-free going forward.

They carried out the job on schedule and on budget, protecting the rest of the house from the mess and heat loss that ensued from a majordemolition in -0 degree weather. The workers were pleasant and respectful. We were delighted with the results. We have had problems occasionally with a couple of the windows when we took them out to move furniture in and out of the room and they have responded promptly and fixed the problems at no cost.

I have dealt with the Window Broker numerous times and have always been pleased both with their saleman and their product. The reason I have continued using them is very simple-- when I originally received a call from their office soliciting work asking if there was anything they could do for me, I told them that at that point I was not in the market for any work due to budget constraints. The women then asked if I would prefer not to receive any calls, receive calls when there was a sale, or if it was okay to occasionally check back with me. This considerate approach alone won a customer for life.

Installation was completed in one day as promised. They cleaned everything up very well. The windows work great and we are very happy with the whole job.

They were meticulous with thier measurements. It's been an excellent relationship, we are very pleased with them. They are not cheap but we recieved good value.

My insurance referred me to this company. It took a long time for them to get around to coming out to me. When they did come out, it was on the coldest day of the year so far, and did a good job despite the weather.

They have quality products and workmanship. They stand behind their work and the workers are clean, polite and punctual. This company gives a 20 year warranty on products they install. They have done a lot of work for me and I will use them again in the future. In the past they have done my roof, windows, doors and siding.

Arrived on time. Courteous, efficient took less than a day to complete. Scrapped old windows and door and cleaned all work areas when done. Very courteous and pleasant people to do business with and I will be calling them again,

Showroom was well laid out and well lit. The saleswoman was helpful, patient and through. William Hubbard construction installed the window and door. From our first contact, he was friendly, considerate, professional and flexible. He was patient and punctual. His crew were friendly and hard working. The window and door turned out beautifully, and they cleaned up well. I would be happy to use Mr. Hubbard again for any construction project.

They are very good. They are very cordial to work with. They are very patient. My wife made a late change, and they were more than accommodating. I couldn't have asked for somebody to be more pleasant to deal with. We got other estimates, and they were actually lower.
