Description of Work: Floor was removed, reinstalled and sanded/finished. Came out awesome. The guys at Shalom are a pleasure to work with as well- professional, friendly, and responsive, sent me pictures regularly throughout the job.

Description of Work: Danny and the crew were absolutely wonderful. The quality of their work was very good, we were extremely comfortable and did not feel like they were watching the clock. They took extreme care of our goods in addition to the work that they do. My house is very old and what they did required a good amount of blending/matching and it was well done. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again in the future. For me to give a 100% it would have had to match 100% and I don't know if that is actually feasible. You should absolutely get Danny to come and give an estimate. He is an honest, genuine hard worker who takes pride in his work. |

Description of Work: Repaired a water damaged wood floor with the skill of a fine cabinet worker.

Description of Work: The gentleman who called set up an appointment immediately. The tech came out on time and inspected the area and gave me a few tips and tricks for my flooring situation. I received a quote within a few days and it was actually a lot lower then I had anticipated. I didn't get the work done because of building issues, I would have contacted shalom if not for that. Great service.

Description of Work: There are few words to describe how incredibly happy I am to have chosen Shalom Flooring to finish my newly installed floors. Dan was the utmost professional from beginning to end. But, most importantly my floors are BEAUTIFUL!!! I wanted an especially dark floor that involved tinting the final polyurethane coat and it came out even better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone who walks into my house stops and comments about how incredible the floors look. Inevitably, they ask "Who did your floors?" And without hesitation I say "Dan from Shalom Flooring.He's amazing."

Description of Work: Fantastic Job!!! Daniel was friendly, reasonable and accomplished what he said he was going to do on time. Patched two areas and matched perfectly to surrounding wood. Definitely will use shalom again.

Description of Work: After contacting several companies to refinish the floors in two houses, I chose Shalom (Daniel) because of their responsiveness, attitude and price. Daniel is a pleasure to work with and he clearly explains the process his company uses and the options you have when deciding how to refinish your floors. He is a friendly, easy going gentleman who does not pressure you into making a decision and is quite responsive to any and all questions you may have. His crew arrived on schedule and on time and worked hard. More importantly, the quality of his work is impeccable. Shalom re-finished three bedrooms, hallways, living and dining rooms for me and in all cases, the floors looked like new when Shalom was finished. Several of my floors were in rough condition and after tearing up the old carpet, pieces of carpet and carpet nails remained. Shalom removed all of these items before beginning their work. Additionally, his crew sealed off the rooms not being refinished so that the dust throughout the houses was minimal. Additionally, at the end of each day (it was a four day job) the workers cleaned the houses before leaving. In one of the homes, furniture had to be moved. Care was taken by his crew to move each piece of furniture without damage. When they were able to replace the furniture, they did so without a scratch to the newly refinished floor. It is not often that you find a company that goes out of their way to not only get your business, but delivers on exactly what they promised. It is my pleasure to recommend Shalom flooring. I would, without hesitation, use this company again.

Description of Work: Amazing!!! I can not get over the transformation of my white oak floors. We had a terrible water stain in my Living Room from a skylight leak and Daniel's team was able to get it out. His team is unbelievably clean, all vents, door openings and closets were sealed off. I was amazed to come home and find No Dust anywhere!! We live in a high ranch style home and had LR, DR, Hallway and five stairs refinished, sealed and two coats of oil poly. We are blown away, I can not stop looking at my floors. We chose Oil Poly in a Satin finish. I did not want my floors shiny, the satin was perfect. Love, Love, Love this Company and am recommending them to everyone who wants to refinish their wood floors. Thank you again Daniel for taking my ugly floors and making them beautiful.

Description of Work: I was called back immediately, and the existing flooring assessed. All appointments were kept exactly on time, both initial consultation and the entire work schedule. I was helped to choose appropriate flooring in a considerate and thoughtful way. All my questions as to existing floor preparation were fully and thoughtfully answered, and my concerns addressed. The work was done within the stated time period, and the estimate was adhered to exactly. The floors look lovely.

Description of Work: We had the living room, den and foyer cleaned - a light scraping. Then, a water-based coating was applied. Two coats finished the job. The floors were in fairly good shape and a full scraping and varnish was not needed.We wanted to clean up floors in our new apartment before we moved in. Daniel was extremely nice and came for an estimate when he said he would. He explained options and kept in touch. The work took place when he said it would and his work crew were very sweet and hardworking. They know what they are doing and finished the job on time. I even felt comfortable leaving them in the empty apartment and going home early. They locked the door for me. One provisio 0 if you do not have email while in transit let Daniel know. I missed an email changing the time and came really early. But no matter - there was plenty for me to do before they arrived!! Great company.

Description of Work: Removed carpeting in one bedroom for which there was no charge. Also removed it from the premises. Installed laminate flooring. Pleased withe result--very professional. However, I do feel that there should have been a follow up phone call to check as a workman completed the job. (Daniel, with whom I dealt, did come to my house during the day to bring additional flooring material.)
