Excellent in every way!!!

My job was painting my living room, dining area and kitchen. Mr. G and Jose were both professionals - did good work, left everything in pristine order, and were pleasant to have in the house. I highly recommend them.

Metropolitan Painting & Contracting painted my apartment, which included wallpaper removal, skim coating, baseboard replacement and painting. The quality of the work was excellent, the walls being very flat and lines straight. They started on the date planned and completed the project within the time estimate. Mr. G and his crew were very courteous, protected my floor and non-painted surfaces (wood, brick, bookcase), and worked with me to get the details right. Baseboard work and crown moulding work by carpenter Fernando was highest quality, being very straight and adjusting to floor height. I would hire Metropolitan again for my next project.

I hired Metropolitan Paint to build bookcases with library lighting, a hidden pantry closet, install new bathroom fixtures & paint. Their work was outstanding. Kenny checked in on the project daily, everyone showed when they said they were going to show up, they stayed on schedule and - most importantly - my Superintendent made a point of telling me how impressed he was with everyone's professionalism and will be recommending them for future projects in the building. No easy feat for a persnickety UES building that can try the patience of the kindest souls. I would absolutely recommend Metropolitan Paint to anyone for any job.

My paint job is complete and Kenny's team did a great job. He is a great owner and stayed on top of my project. My painters, Guillermo and Jose were professional and thorough, and very patient with me, and my stress issues during this project.!! I would highly recommend Metropolitan for any renovations needed.

Kenny and his crew came to our rescue after a prior contractor turned our renovation into a horror show. He fixed the tile work, the kitchen, two bathrooms, attic work and got our all wood floors to take on new decades of life. I can't say enough about the quality and attention to detail from his people... I spoke with them about what we needed and it was done perfectly... by people who had been with him forever it seemed. It's a wonderful company and my wife and I recommend them without reservation.

The team at Metropolitan did an absolutely beautiful GUT renovation on our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom co-op on the upper east side. They completed our renovation with an outstanding level of quality at a very fast pace (approximately 4.5 months for a FULL gut renovation to the beams). The customer service, responsiveness, reliability and quality of craftsmanship made what can be a generally overwhelming experience smooth and easy. Highly recommended.

A letter I wrote to their President I'm writing to thank you for the wonderful job that you and your team did in painting and renovating our apartment. Your team is professional, reasonably priced, and excellent communicators. Mickey was in touch with us almost every day and sometimes multiple times each day. When we expressed a concern, you always addressed it. The mark of an excellent contractor is not getting everything right 100%ofthe time. This never happens in any field. But a true professional acknowledges issues, suggests solutions and then executes. You are true professional. I would recommend Metropolitan Painting and Contracting without reservation.
