They were polite and punctual. The work has held up so far although the winter has ben mild so far. I feel that the price was a little high although I did not seek other bids.

It went well as expected. The driveway sealing was done efficiently with quallity maaterials and the driveway still looks good even after a bad winter last year.

Great service provided. I made one phone call, received the estimate, set the date and the work was completed. It was done really well so much so that my neighbor had the service completed as well.

The crew showed up on time, performed the job in a workmanlike manner and left the premises in good condition. We were satisfied with the work and it has, so far, held up well.

No problems - everything went well for me and for my sister work.

The work was spectacular! The driveway has never looked better. The only concern was the punctuality issue. Not in doing the work, but in getting the estimate. I had to call 3 times to secure a solid estimate date. Once that was done, everything else went smoothly. If I had to make one recommendation, it would be that Jim needs to make sure his receptionist is up to date on when Jim or one of his employees can come out and do the estimate. It took about 3 weeks to finally get the estimate done. Otherwise, the work was fantastic, efficient and fast! Take care of the estimate problem and this review would be an all "A" review.

I went with Jim's because their estimate was within my budget. The process took 3 weeks from start to finished. The work was done quickly and efficiently. There was a minor issue with the slope but Jim himself came to inspect and repair the work immediately. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new driveway.

The Company made an appointment with me and kept the appointment as promised. Liam was the contractor who came out and met with me. He presented professional and knowledgable and I appreciated his opinion. We are considering using their services but the involved association is still investigating the project, we are not ready yet.

Met With Liam for all appointments, he was on time and professional. Overall they got the job done and it looks great. There was an issue with a driveway gate sensor being cut but Liam called the gate company and had it repaired same day at his expense.

The job was well done, with great attention to detail, very professional. The cost was reasonable for the quality and professionalism of the work. The one aspect of the job that could have been better was the time to wait for an estimate, about one week.

The first coat did not seal in some areas. I called Jim's and they came back out, agreed with me, and subsequently put down a 2nd coat. Other than having to do it twice, it was a pleasure to deal with them.

They did a good job, but the scheduling was a hassle. It took them almost a month to come and complete the work, and they weren't very good about setting expectations for that. However, once I clarified that I needed the job completed by a certain date (I was moving out and then renting out the house), they were very good about trying to get it scheduled, and they did call me to give me an exact date. I'm sure my job is small in comparison to other stuff they do, so I probably shouldn't complain.

The response to my initial email inquiry was quick. Told they do patch work- size not an issue. Then I was told an estimate visit could not be scheduled. Their man would just "show up". I asked at least that they call me to discuss during or at least after the visit. As it happens my wife was home. Re the patch which was for a very small area but nonetheless important due to the water pooling issue she was told they didn't recommend doing it as it "wouldn't look very good" but that they were happy to do the sealing. When I learned of this conversation I indicated to the office my strong desire to have the patch done all the same. The office staff was helpful and reached out to the estimator. Through the office I was now told that he actually feels the whole driveway was not done properly and it should be completely torn up and redone. Interesting he chose not to share this when he was on site. The fact is the entire 2750 sq ft driveway is virtually flawless except for a 150sq ft section. In my opinion their handling of this inquiry clearly illustrates 2 reasons to be cautious when dealing with them. 1) they clearly didn't want to do the patch work despite having initially indicated they perform this service completely ignoring my main problem. In others words they'll happily take your money for the work they feel like doing even it doesn't address your real problem 2) after being called out on #1 they threw the hail mary and insulted my intelligence by hoping I'd be dumb enough to subsequently have them rip up a 90+ % perfectly good driveway. In other words it would appear they are happy to recommend work you don't need if you are dumb enough to agree to it. All in all very disappointing from a company that generally had positive feedback.

Provided estimate and a week later job was done at a reasonable price. Will continue to use them in the future.

It went well and quickly, looked good, except for scorching a spot of grass near the driveway entrance.

Other than scheduling delays which took almost 8 weeks it went very well. Very professional and neat. I thought the price was fair.

I contacted Jim's to get a quote for Driveway Repair and Sealing. While I live in lower Westchester (Tuckahoe) and they are listed on Angie's List as servicing Westchester County, I was advised they don't come down past Scarsdale. FYI, I read a similar comment about Fairfield, CT.

It took a long time for me to set up the appointment with them. I guess what they do is they don't come out and do one driveway in the neighborhood. They wait until they have more than one and then they do it. I guess it's more efficient for them. I called them more than once to get them to seal their driveway. I thought that was frustrating but I understand why they did it. They did what they said they were going to do.

Jims crew arrived on time for the work, they were polite, and explained the process to me The driveway was brushed clean by two men , after they used blowers to remove loose dirt and dust. I explained that they needed to use care not to splash the sealer, there was a stone wall belgian block and decorative trim. They understood and said they would be very careful, then the third man backed the truck into the driveway just until they were able to unload enough sealer to do most of the work , They worked carefully around storm drains and stone areas to prevent staining. The seal was spread and brushed in and back and forth leaving a smooth black sealer coating. Every care was used and the job was just perfect. I thanked them and said they had done a great job! Two stakes were put into the ground across the drive with signs indicating the work had been done. The driver gave me important information on a preprinted flyer from Jims co about not walking on the surface and how long, and not driving on it for three days Other pertinent information about the dos and donts after sealing.

It went very well. The sealing failed in a small area and they came back and redid the entire driveway at no cost. The final looks great and I am sure it will last for many years.

It states on Angie's List and on Jim's Driveway Sealing web site that they cover Fairfield County, CT. I called to set up an appt to have our driveway replaced and when I told her I lived in Danbury, CT (in Fairfield County), she curtly replied that they don't service Danbury. They should probably update their info or at least list which towns they actually do cover in Fairfield, CT.

The job went very well. They came and explained exactly what they were going to do, when they were going to do it and how much it would cost. Everything went smoothly, the job got time on time and at the cost they promised. They even did a few extra things to make sure the job was satisfactory.
