Description of Work: Our chimney repair had three parts. Pointing, rain cap, and sealing where the roof meets the chimney. The sealing was tricky and required extra visits. David was determined to get it right, and he did.

Description of Work: Dave and his crew of two men did signifcant stone mason work on our front entranceway, stairs and porch. It included major chimney repair and resurfacing and sealing. David attended to details we never thought of and did extra small touches and taskes that were simply part of his service but not in the contract. We are employing him for other house related repairs concerning gutters, ice dams and roof.

Description of Work: David came to our home and gave us a quote of $1800 which was mostly all labor as there was not too many supplies needed for the work. He said that he would come out at the beginning of June, then the end of June to the beginning of July. Never heard from him again. We finally gave up and are looking again for a contractor.

Description of Work: I contacted Mr Ferrarone and we made an appointment for an estimate. He never showed and didn't call. I wasted an afternoon waiting for him. A couple of days later I called his number again, I was giving him the benefit of doubt as to why he didn't call. I left my name and number again and he still hasn't called back. I will not use him because I feel he was un professional and I would not trust him with a deposit.

Description of Work: He ground and repointed the cracks and voids in the chimney exterior; recrowned the chimney top; painted the chimney; sealed and tarred the chimney at the roofline intersection. DH Ferrarrone Company is very professional. They did a great job on our chimney repairs, and it looks nice again.

Description of Work: The services will be provided in the future when it can be scheduled. Mr. Ferrarone was on time and gave useful and honest advice. He counseled me that what I thought had to be done was not necessary and he will perform the more limited services required in the near future.

Description of Work: I had my chimney Drylocked and the flashing repaired. The once ugly cement chimney now looks great and the flashing does as well. I have much more piece of mind that any moisture will be kept out. Dave was very professional and courteous and I would definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: I contacted Mr Ferrarone to have some repairs done on the chimney of my Syracuse house. The work done in my absence was excellent. Initially, David didn't like something, so he came back to do additional work at no additional charge. When I returned to Syracuse , I found the job done excellently.

Description of Work: David did some roof alterations for us which was required for the sale of the house. He was responsive, professional, timely and very reasonable. The quality of his work is superior and he accommodated our schedules. Highly, highly recommended.

Description of Work: Contacted Mr. Ferrarone by voice mail between Christmas & New Years Holiday. Did not expect or get a return call until just after New Years with was within the time frame I left on my voicemail. Since then it has been difficult to get a timely response from him despite messages to his cell & home phone #'s & emails. He has given me a preliminary estimate of $320 with a start date of 1/27/12 to 1/29/12. I have not recieved the written estimate from him despite phone calls & emails, so I am looking for someone else to do the job. Very pleasant person on the phone, seems to have acceptable rates, did work for my sister & brother-in-law that was excellent, but doesn't respond back timely.

Description of Work: Repaired chimney exterior by removing loose and cracked cement, resurfaced voids and cracks, sealed with DryLok, tarred at roof line to tidy up and reseal previous tarring.
