Fine. Because of too narrow inside staircase, convertible sofa was strapped and lowered over 1st floor porch railing to ground floor, and 2 pieces of furniture were raised from ground floor to first. Everything went smoothly.

The move went well. They were patient with us and our extended family: 2 doggies! It took about 8-9 hours due to the loading and unloading. Travel time was minimal since it was under 15 min away.

The experience was beyond expectations. Bob the owner was amazing in assessing my home to give me an estimate. He explained his process, and set expectations where I was able to make a decision that was best for me. It was a two day process. The first day Don and Gene came to pack my items and was punctual, professional, and handled my possessions with care. Their communication with me was great and showed me that they cared about what they were doing. The next day, Bob sent a team of four to move me to my new home in Massapequa Park from Rosedale. They went above and beyond. They made sure that everything was in its rightful place and allowed me not to worry about the overwhelming nature of moving itself. Moveco was tremendous and I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone I meet who is moving. The price was reasonable, but the service was exceptional and I was quite pleased.

It went wonderfully well. I was very pleased - from my initial contact with Robert by phone, to receiving advice from him, to receiving a written estimate, to setting a date, to the actual move. He suggested two men for my job and that was sufficient. They arrived promptly, professionally took apart the bed, removing the headboard, wrapped the mattress and box-spring, provided the wardrobes at no extra charge, and were very careful with all my possessions.

Moving day is always a difficult one for us but Moveco made it a little less so. First of all the crew of 3 showed up on time and got to work right away. They succeeded in moving in our furniture without one scratch on our newly painted walls...my husband and I were very appreciative of that. They were also very patient with me as we were moving into a very different layout than the apartment we came from, so deciding where to put things was a little challenging. (At one point I got so flustered I decided we had to get rid of a huge desk because it wouldn't get into the spot I designated...but this crew didn't want to give up...they gave it the "old college try", figuring if it fell apart I was going to trash it anyway....but they got it into our small den without damage to our doorframe or desk! This crew worked solidly for 4 hours. Although my husband and I hope this is the last move for us, if life decides differently, we would not hesitate to use Moveco Inc again.

I contacted Moveco through Angies List and Bob called back right away. He provided an estimate ($260 minimum plus $25 disposal fee and tolls both ways for truck) and said they could do it first thing in the morning on the day we needed it. The movers were on time (a few minutes early, actually), picked up the stove from our daughter's house in the Bronx and were on their way to our house in Brooklyn by 9:05am. Gene and two other movers were here by 9:45am, removed our stove and brought my daughter's in. They were very careful with both old and new stove so as to not damage walls or the replacement stove. Very pleased overall!

These guys were all great. They provided an accurate estimate, made helpful suggestions, were willing to move thngs around till I was happy with placement...all with a positive and friendly attitude.

We got a couch from a friend that inherited it from a buddy of his but they could not get it into his nyc apartment since it was too big. So, we got it later that evening, and put it in our garage, waiting for the snow to melt before bringing it in. Then, I broke my ankle, and the likelihood of me bringing it in with some of my buddies went out the window (ironic, see below how the couch went in through the window). With the weather outside snow and ice free, I hit Angie's list and found moveco. I called on Monday and they came Wednesday as scheduled, right on time. They wrapped the couch and brought it into the house, but struggled getting it into the room we wanted since it was at the end of a tight hallway. Oh, also, it's a sleeper sofa, so it's very heavy, and, also, it's a huge sofa, so it's super heavy and big. After attempting different maneuvering strategies, never expressing any frustration, they confirmed what I thought was a slight possibility - that it won't fit. So, they strategized and found a solution - through the double-hung window. They got it in! All without damage to the floors, walls or window...or the sofa. I was very happy I called moveco...and didn't attempt it myself. I was happy with how the very courteous crew operated, and will definitely use them again when that time will come.

Chris came to give us an estimate approximately three weeks prior to the date of the move. movco was the second estimate we received and the company we went with. I called the following week and accepted their price. Bob called me to find out where to fax the insurance forms. The Friday prior to the move Bob called to verify Monday the 15th @ 9:00AM for the move. My 93 year old mother was in the apartment, the workers were pleasant, caring(left the chairs for last) so my wife and her mother had a place to sit. They did such a clean and quick job that we all thought this was to good to be true. It went so smoothly I thought it was a dream .They will be the cleanout crew now that my house is for sale.

These guys were great. Bob was very responsive on the phone setting up the end-of-month appointment on short notice and the crew was very friendly to us and attentive of our belongings. At first I thought they were a little on the small side to be movers, but all three guys turned out to be pretty strong. We wanted to start fresh in our first house with new, quality furniture that we bought in the store and were having delivered, but even with a little less furniture than typical we still had a ton of stuff to move from our old rental apartment. These guys were quick but careful. They showed up right on time at our apartment at 9AM (actually, they were even a little early) and we were waving each other good-bye from the door of our house by about 12:20PM. No damage to our stuff, and they left everything exactly where we asked. They took apart and reassembled a complicated desk, too. I highly recommend these guys and hope your move goes as well as ours did.

The move could not have gone any better. Company called me day before and told me the movers would be at my apt. at 9am - they called me the day of the move and said if i'm ready they'll be there at 830am - I was ready and happy for the early arrival. 3 guys showed up with a large truck. The guys were SUPER nice, very gentle with my belongings, wrapped everything neatly and always said "you're welcome", "thank you" etc - very polite. Once we packed everything up we drove to Long Beach where they quickly ushered everything into my new home. Wherever we asked them to put items it was done without hesitation. We even asked them to rearrange some items that they had placed in the home after my wife changed her mind - they didn't blink an eye and did as we asked all with a smile on their face. They reassembled all the furniture they took apart back at my Queens apt. - very helpful as this would have been very annoying for me to do after a long day of unpacking etc. I couldn't say enough about the crew and company - they were fantastic. Best part was I was quoted for 4 hours and we went 4.25 hours - so I had to pay a prorated rate for the extra 15 min - most companies would charge you the full hour the minute you went past the 4 hours - good company - smart way to do business.

My Appointment was at 3:00pm, this gentleman was too Eager he came at 2:30pm. He did try calling but did not leave a message. He lucked out that I was home. The owner of the company came (Chris), very nice but doesn't really hear what the person is saying. I told him that this was the last estimate and I was going for a price lower than $4,500.00 and if he can do that, then he would get the job. Chris, did not listen to me cause I just got a price quote of $4,700.00. I have a lot of furniture that is staying. Way too much money. I have gotten estimates from $2,600.00 to $4,700.00.

They said they would arrive between 9:00 and 9:30. They got to the storage facility at 8:30. They were waiting for ME. The truck was loaded in about an hour and fifteen minutes. While loading, they would make me aware of anything that was already damaged. They kept my photo displays in the truck cab with them so they would be protected. When the got to my place, they were careful not to damage my new hardwood floors and we're very careful with my stuff. They also worked very quickly to unload. The job was finished well within the four-hour minimum. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, this is the company I would use.

We moved from one Forest Hills apt to another (close to a mile away) and to avoid alternate side of the street issues it seemed prudent to schedule for a Friday where my side of the street close to the door would be clear. We had to reschedule to a Thursday, where the truck would have to be 1/2 block farther away and Bob was able to accommodate by adding an extra man for a very reasonable price. Problem solved. We lived in a 2 bedroom for 19 years and though we spent quite a bit of time tossing and weeding before the move (and up until the last minute), I knew we needed help with packing. Bob, gave us a straight up separate price per hour for 2 men. The fellows came and they were wonderful-friendly, calming, and expert packers. We were very happy to have the help. I'd say we packed half and they packed the other half. The above price did not include the day of packing...I can't say off hand what the cost was but I can say it was quite reasonable and the service was great. Thursday a.m. the men were here bright and early and ready to go. Bob came by and checked in over the day to see that all was well (and it was) and to make sure there were no questions or issues. Besides all the obvious-furniture etc, they packed our computer(s), tv(s), china-in other words, breakables-and everything arrived at the new place in the same condition it left the old one, in one piece. It was a full day move-we all agreed we had mega stuff-probably close to 60 boxes. For the things I packed myself- Bob was clear in advising me what type of box I should use for what, the best way to pack specific things etc. We managed to get everything in by 5 or so. In short, moving is a small slice of h*** and everyone knows it. Moveco made a very stressful situation infinitely better-took care of all the nitty gritty or advised me on how to do so myself. Everything was put in its proper place, beds reassembled, furniture reassembled, boxes were labeled to go into their correct rooms. Its made the post move much easier. I would highly recommend this company. Excellent job all around , fair price, professional and all done with good cheer (nothing to sneeze at!). I hope this is my last move for awhile but I would definitely use these folks again.

Two guys (Dave and Larry I think) arrived early...they were very polite and cheerful for it to be 8am. They completed the job in an hour or so and were very helpful in removing the bannister. They knew what needed to be done and I was perfectly comfortable with them in my home. I would used them in a heartbeat again. Thanks Moveco.

It went really well. The guys are very efficient and professional. They wrap and protect the items carefully before moving them. They stuff are really heavy, and moving up and down 3 stories of stairs is really challanging. The crew are polite and kind. We trully appreciate their help.

From the moment they arrived and introduced themselves (4 movers) there was a mannerism present that simply just immediately made me and my husband feel comfortable. Our job was done and know it was their turn. We showed them everything we were taking. They were respectful and courteous. They had come promtly and prepared with the hanging closets, mats and throws to cover expensive wooden furnishings and porcelein and tools to help in taking apart a very large piece of furniture, oh, and lots and lots of tape. Let me not forget that large air-conditioning unit which was bolted in such a fashion by an outside vendor that it proved to be a difficult upon removal. But once again, they worked as a team and accomplished the task at hand. They did it, were professional and when we got to our new residence it was all put where we had showed them and they took good care about our new wooden floors not being scuffed or scratched. The furniture was reassembled and they completed their job on time. We let them know that we appreciated their work too and that it all went very well. Great group and team you have there. It went very well. The moving team was hard-working, professional, efficient, and friendly. Everything arrived in one piece. Nothing was lost. A great experience overall.

The guys were great. Very helpful and very thorough! moved everything they said they would and left the house in excellent condition. Moved and cleaned out lots of house odds and ends for the estate sale and were able to keep the price down through recycling. Great service and would use them again! Just a word of advice - call, don't email. Not a bad thing, just faster to work on the phone than through email.

The team Gene, Dennis and Bill were punctual and courteous from the start. They took care of the furniture as if it was their own. My 81 year old mother in law directed them where to place her boxes and furniture and everything was placed where she wanted it. They kept to their schedule , cleaned up and even carried out and old large TV and placed it by the curb for us. A great experience.

The crew was nothing short of wonderful. They were early, pleasant, knowledgeable and went right to work. They were great. I have been singing their praises since the move. I have a friend moving in a few weeks and have already told him who to call. I was dreading the whole moving process and they made it the easiest part of the process of me buying my new home. Thank you Bob, Chris and the crew!!!

Crew was very professional and hardworking, even showed up slightly early. Moved very quickly and with respect for the space. Only problem was miscommunication about separate charge for hauling away items as opposed to leaving them for sanitation pickup, but price was still reasonable given they were charging by the hour and worked so efficiently.

The overall experience was great--Rashawn and Larry were expert movers, like sherpas, but most important, very deliberate and took their time in moving my delicate stuff. They took care to not just dump my stuff in my new house but thoughtfully put the a/cs for example in the storage closet, the office stuff in the office, etc. The only thing to be aware of is how much one can go over in time and in money. It seemed a bit too good to be true that it would cost only 3 hours worth including driving (which they charge $90 flat fee), which is 270. Then again they had no idea how much stuff I really had. But for 3 men the minimum would be approx 400-450 they said, so I think it's the same at the end. If I had known accurately how much time it would've taken (4 hours at the end) I would've probably opted for the 3 men as it would've been faster. For reference I was moving out of a roommate situation with little furniture but as a painter, lots of painting supplies and works of art. Furniture consisted only of two armoires, 4 or 5 small tables, some chairs, one sofa. No bed even. So, all in all, be prepared, minimum with only two guys to spend 450.

Good job,stuck to estimate but added $300.00 for carpet removal
