Description of Work: I called Warden Plumbing on September 22, 2014 because the jet pump for my well was running but we had no water. This pump has easy access on a cement floor in a utility room. Warden arrived the same day, pulled up and replaced the foot valve in the well, and performed a function check. However, the next morning the pump was again running and not pulling water. Warden returned promptly, did another check and found that the pump bearings were worn and couldn't be saved. We were able to run enough water to store for the next few days and Warden replaced the pump on the 25th. After the replacement, everything worked fine with one exception. The suction line running from the well to the pump was not placed flush to the floor and I tripped over it twice. Warden returned on the 29th to lower the suction line, and added the time to the final bill. Overall, Warden Plumbing is competent and prompt. I'm just irritated with the last charge. I would use them again.

We were very disappointed with Warden Plumbing. The plumber doing work on our sink took extra time because he had to keep making trips back and forth to acquire materials. With proper foresight and planning, all of these trips could have been done at once. In at least one case, he simply brought back the wrong materials. We thought we understood from our conversations with him that we would not be billed for unnecessary trips but then we were so billed nevertheless. We attempted without success to negotiate the large bill with the company, but they seemed to us more concerned with getting the full amount they billed than with customer satisfaction or with retaining us as customers. They even pointed out that they did not bill us for the additional time when he had to return because the installation he did leaked--time for which we obviously should not have been billed anyway. As a result, we will not use them again.

They did a good job. Came on time, didn't take too long. My only complaint is the price - $120 labor for about 1 hr's work.

I think that they were very thorough. They told me everything that was going on. Their estimate was accurate and I think that they got in a good excavator. It was extensive work on a very old house and apparently it really needed to be done and now I feel very secure with the work. They were very professional and they really listen to me and they worked together with me and other contractors. I am just very satisfied.
