Karen Zeiders (KZ Design) came up with a wonderful new layout for our kitchen after getting my wife's list of "likes" and "dislikes" in the old space. Her very first stab at a design startled us but it quickly became apparent that it was as good as it was unexpected. After a few adjustments and tweaks, it was a matter of choosing counter surfaces, flooring, cabinet styles, lighting. The work was done by Warren Currier -- a superb contractor we'd recommend most highly. As the work progressed, we made some modifications and minor revisions, and they were all incorporated smoothly into the work flow. I can't speak highly enough of everyone involved in this job. Karen's design, Warren's work, and the work of people whom Warren calls upon to assist -- it was a pleasure and privilege to see people so thoroughly competent and diligent in what they do. This was far from the cheapest way to get a new kitchen. We undertook it as a major improvement of the house, something that will still be an outstanding center of life after many decades. The cost of the design was rolled into the overall price, so I can't say what it would have been if we had chosen different contractors for the execution of the design.
