I think that the work went very well. I am happy with the outcome and feel that the cost was reasonable. They were also very accommodating with add ons that cropped up; such as refinishing and re-installation of wrought iron rail and excavation of additional nuisance tree roots.

In general I think this is a decent business. I think somehow there was a deep misunderstanding or breach in communication. I watched the whole pruning procedure through a window because I was fascinated by what was happening and by landscaping in general. It took 45 minutes. I was charged 1.5 hours. Okay, I can round 45 minutes to 1 hour, but 1.5? $180 to prune a small tree? I was very surprised. I argued and asked if $180 was the going rate for such a small job to which they answered and quot;yesand quot;. I should have clarified my question by asking if it was the going rate among professional Ithaca landscapers, not just their business, to which I don't think the answer could be and quot;yesand quot;. As a result I feel like I lost the argument and have simply paid the bill. I will have to chalk it up to lesson learned. An expensive one!

It went very well. Fast efficient. Excellent workmanship. Highly recommended.

They quoted $1000 for the job, which was really too low. They just have one type of plant. They weren't creative. They promptly came out and promptly gave me an estimate. I didn't feel they were very knowledgeable. They were punctual. They responded quickly. I didn't think they had good ideas.

They are reasonably priced and do excellent work. They are user friendly in that you tell them what kind of work you need done and they will give you different scenarios/prices for you to pick the best option. They are an honest company and give a three month guarantee on their work.
