Bishops Carpet One Floor and Home

Lousy job. I went to Bishop's to support local people. The installer first went to the wrong job, so I had to leave before he returned. He ripped out all the carpet and replaced the carpet in the nook, leaving a few frayed pieces sticking up on the edge. He also left the under pad, the wooden tack strips and all the staples in the under pad. Whwn I called I got "I think we weren't clear enough". Why leave the pad? The installer was worried you'd hurt your feet on the staples. But he left the strips of wood with nails sticking out. When I was asked what I wanted done, i said remove the pad and the staples. Oh no, we don't remove the staples. We will hammer them into the floor (a 200+ year old wide plank floor). What if we want to get the floor refinished? Oh, that's the floor guys problem. Bottom line- They never showed up to remove the pad, I removed the pad and all the staples and wood strips.I was really disappointed both in the work and in the lack of responsibility. And I do not like being lied to. I am so sad to say, stay away from Bishop's carpet
