+ -1 moreDue to my work schedule I can only do a Saturday or late afternoon appointment. They offered to come during the week when no one was home if I left them my opener code (Not going to happen!). After being promised a Saturday (09/08/07) service appointment at 8:30 AM, I called during the week to confirm and it was then changed to 10:00-noon. When I called in an attempt to pinpoint the exact time, I was told someone would call me Saturday morning (09/08/07) by 9:00 AM to discuss either an appointment that Saturday or a late afternoon appointment during the week. I never received the call. I called at 9:45 and cancelled the job. Not very responsive as far as service goes. Very disappointed.
Description of Work: Contacted G&M to repair a broken spring. They installed a new garage door and opener system for me approximately three years ago. A spring broke and I needed a repair. I thought I would support him because he is a small business and did the initial installation very nicely.

+ -1 moreCalled in morning came at 2 p.m. same day. Richie was mechanic and removed damaged pulley. I tried earlier, but could not manage. He than attached new pulley with cable in place and tested the operation of the door. He also advised me on the type of new doors which are best for my needs.

+ -1 moreTHE SERVICEMAN WAS PROMPT AND ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK. IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT ONE HOUR TO DO THE WORK. I THINK THE PRICE MAY HAVE BEEN A LITTLE HIGH.
Description of Work: MY OLD GARAGE DOOR WAS DAMAGED, SO IT WAS REMOVED AND A NEW ONE WAS INSTALLED.
