They successfully repaired a French Drain that had been in use for over 30 years and had recently developed issues. The work exceeded expectations, with a clean process and minimal noise from the jackhammer inside the house. The system now functions as if it were new. Mark and his team were everything I was hoping for and more. He put french drains in my basement along with digging a window well outside and installing a sump pump. Clean, professional and done within 2 days. I cannot say enough about this company. Frankly, it was refreshing to finally see someone with integrity and superb customer service. After obtaining estimates and meeting a number of sales staff from numerous waterproofing companies who offered a number of different methods and systems to eliminate water in my basement, I decided to use ACM Waterproofing I am extremely pleased with the final pricing, the service team that completed the job and most importantly the quality of the work that ACM provided. The workmanship was top notch from the moment they arrived at my home. I was surprised at how clean they worked, including covering all the items in my basement. They kept me informed throughout the process. Mark Halprin, the owner was on site when they arrived on day one. I would recommend them to anyone who has an issue with water in their basement to correct their issue.

The whole thing went really well. They arrived around 9:15 Thursday morning. The men put up drop cloths and tarps. They had an industrial blower fan with an exhaust tube made of plastic sheeting; it blew a lot of the dusty air out a basement window. The jackhammers and impact masonry drills did make quite a bit of noise, but not as much as I'd anticipated. By late afternoon they had finished cleaning up. Proprietor came by to check on it and even tested the electric pump.

Excellent! We had ACM install a French drain in a portion of our basement in 2018 which went very well - that section is bone dry. But in July 2019 the rest of the basement was flooded by water coming in through a window during a downpour and we immediately called ACM again. They determined that we needed to have the French drain extended through the entire basement and to have window well drains installed. Mark and his crew are a pleasure to work with - they know their business, are courteous, tidy and complete the work in the time stated.

We used ACM 7 years ago to install a French Drain and sump-pump for the southern side of our lower level. It solved our water leak problems. This past week we used them again to install a similar system on the northern side of our lower level. Ray came to look at the issue we were having with water getting in through the window. He suggested removing the small basement window, which we had never thought of. The day of the job went smoothly and was completed in just a few hours. Mark came to look at the window a few days before the work and the day after to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the project and would recommend ACM to anyone.

They did an excellent job. Clean up after they did it. I'm so happy. They were perfect. The basement was left spotless. It was so great.

Overall, they did an excellent job, and there is no water in my basement so far. They were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. My only disappointment was the cleanup, especially since other reviews said they did a good job with that. Thick layers of concrete dust were left all over the area, including my HVAC components. Hopefully, no damage has been done. They also could have vacuumed up all the concrete pieces that were left all over. I was not expecting a deep cleaning, but even a superficial cleanup would have been better. Also, they did not give me enough detail on the electrical outlet needed for the sump pump. As a result, I had to have the electrician come back and make a change, which cost me an extra $200. Make sure you get the exact details of any electrical requirements.

As I previously stated, I did not hire them or any of the other firms that were listed. They called and we discussed the nature of the job and no appointment was ever made. We decided to take a different approach. It would be helpful if the review request included an option that the firm was not hired.

Mark and his team are awesome! From beginning to end, Mark was very responsive, informative and passionate about helping. His team was extremely professional, friendly and very clean. They replaced a poorly installed sump pump, installed a back up pump, connect a back up battery to both, replaced the French drain, built in a couple trenches and installed a membrane on the walls to control seepage. The work looks great! The only thing they could have done a little better was to explain the plan upfront so we could agree on the location/design of the installation. Overall, it was a great experience though, and I would definitely recommend ACM to others!

Since owning a 109 year old home I've had a need to contact various contractors for a variety of issues and have not always been satisfied with the results. But contacting Mark and dealing with his professional staff was refreshing and restored my faith in American craftsmanship and business ethics. Mark and his men did a beautiful job in installing the French drain. The work was done very nicely, and when completed, the area was left completely clean. They took great pains to hide the drain pipe going out to the exterior of the house, and even created a drain around my hot water storage tank and furnace in case they ever sprung a leak. I could not have asked for a better job or nicer people to do it.

ACM changed their schedule to accommodate our availability (one of our children was hospitalized). The crew arrived promptly, reviewed the job with Ray, whom we first met to discuss the project. They sealed off surrounding areas to assure dirt and dust was contained to the work area. The team, Mike, Danny, Walter, Greg, and Victor introduced themselves, and proceeded to do the job. They were very well organized, and worked efficiently. They finished the job by 4PM, sooner than promised. Mark, the owner, later came by to see the job and make sure we were satisfied with the workmanship. This crew was professional and courteous, and we would highly recommend ACM.

Mark seems to be very knowledgeable about his work and made us feel comfortable in trusting him with our house. He and his team were courteous and professional throughout the 3-day job.
