Description of Work: Water in my basement is a common thing, and I installed my first sump pump soon after I moved in thirty years ago, with varying degrees of success, but I was never very happy with it or its two successors. On 2/13/11 ACM enlarged the current sump in my basement and installed two pumps (one that would operate in the case of minor flooding events, with the second operating along with the first in case of major flooding--which occurred with Hurricane Irene, when I lost power and the basement accumulated about a foot of water. The power came back on just as the water was about to reach my hot water heater, boiler, and washer and dryer. The two pumps came on immediately and the accumulated water was gone in half an hour. Later that year, on 9/21/11, ACM came back and installed a battery-operated backup pump system. All work was done professionally, and any questions I had were answered promptly and to my satisfaction. The quality of the work--and the peace of mind I've gained--definitely justified the expense. I would definitely use ACM again.
