Mark's team spent several days creating a trench around the entire interior walls of our basement, with a pump in the corner, leading to a drainage pipe to the outside. All went just as Mark had described. Once the process was complete, we were able to turn our basement into a comfortable den, musical studio, and sewing room. The work was done eight years ago and our basement is still dry! Thanks ACM! It was well worth the cost... Our basement is now our favorite room in our house!

We hired ACM to do the work and their service was exceptional, they were timely, professional, the staff was quite competent. We had our old system replaced and our basement elevated. We are thrilled that over the past year our pump has gone off only once, for a brief period of time during a very heavy rainfall. We no longer are pumping for days at a time, worrying about flooding or having to deal with large amount of water at our curb. It is really quite relief to not have to be dealing with pumping 24/7 for days at a time ACM came and did a yearly inspection and fixed a minor problem promptly. We highly recommend ACM

ACM did a wonderful job waterproofing my basement so that I can finish it. excellent. The project was well explained and all questions answered before contract signed. Owner arrived with work crew on date and time agreed upon and introduced me to crew manager and examined and confirmed work site. All members were polite, efficient, worked like dogs despite severe heat and humidity. All waste was removed in their own trucks and area left clean and tidy. I was able to ask questions and review work site as the work progressed. at completion of job,I had a final walk through with the crew manager who showed me the new system, explained again how it functions and showed any changes or adjustments that were made. I also received a follow up e-mail and phone call for any remaining questions or concerns. I am very satisfied with the communications, work, and feel sure this system will solve a nagging problem that has plagued my basement depending on soil and weather conditions.

Several years ago I called these guys to get an estimate on my waterproofing needs. Owner showed up and was very knowledgeable. He let me know that the only real solution was a french drain. I however did not listen until after trying other options and the probelem geting worse I finally called him back. They were professional and did everything promised. Great to work with

After some torrential rains, we had a flood in the basement. On Angie's list, we saw ACM Basement Waterproofing and read positive reviews. We called after hours, left a voice-mail and were pleasantly surprised to get a call back quickly. An appointment was made, confirmed by email, and Marc came for the free estimate. We were impressed with his knowledge, his pleasant personality, and his detailed explanations. We hired ACM. They did the work in one day. We did not have to move anything for them. They moved out stuff and put it back when they were done. They even removed the old sump which had become useless. We are very satisfied with their work.

Owner inspected the site, answered questions, provided detailed explanations and offered a written quote to waterproof a basement room with post-storm flooding problems due to possible hydrostatic pressure. Their quote was not the lowest of four quotes submitted; however, after reviewing all the quotes and their details, I found ACM's job specifications as the most detailed and thorough (i.e. not cutting any corners). Their workmen were courteous and professional. The work place was kept clean throughout. When encountered unexpected issues, the supervisor on the job and the owner were in constant contact with me to work on solutions. Finally, despite some tight spaces and oil lines below cement floor, the job was completed on time. We'll find out if the system will prevent any flooding problems in the future. I hope it does. In the event that it doesn't, the company guarantees to come back to fix any problems without any cost, and the job has a 20-year written warranty for its workmanship and materials. Well done ACM!

Following a renovation a number of years ago the new basement area was lower than the orignial by 8 inches. Living close to the bay we started having a problem with ground water coming up in the basement and had a french drain system put in a number of years ago, while that kept the basement dry the pump seemed to run all the time, even with just a little bit of rain. For days after water would just be pouring into the system and the pumps would be pumping every 20 seconds round the clock. One time the pump burned out and we had to improvise with smaller pumps and hoses until we could get it replaced. Mark and his staff assessed the problem accurately (the original drain and sump pump was placed to low and were now in the water table not above it) ACM did the work quickly and efficiently, were very careful and responsive to our concerns and questions. Mark always answered our calls and took the time to explain everything to us, more than once. The work was completed in a very timely manner and I'm very happy to report that we have had not been pumping at all, even following the recent rains, and even though some of our neighbors pumps have come on. It is a big relief. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Mark and the ACM staff were terrific to work with, conscientious with drop cloths and clean up, were always on time, and quite professional. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation.

Job was done professionally, in a timely manner and the cleans up afterwards was terrific. Service to the system was performed in July 2015. Again the work was done very professionally and neatly.

Everything went well. Very professional from the initial estimate to the work done. The work was started and completed as promised. The owner was very easy to talk with. He patiently explained everything to me before and during the work contracted for. He answered all my questions and concerns. The staff were all professional. Not only did they do a wonderful job, but job prepping and clean up was thorough.

It was an excellent experience. It took them just a day to do the work with 3-4 workers.

French drain was installed in one day as per our agreed spec's. Concrete installer followed up in two days for the basement pour. The 10" rain that occurred a few months ago was no issue for the french drain and pumps. At this time I'm very please with the system and the results.

The estimator spent a lot of time-but the fact is he is there to sell sump pumps under every circumstance. And they are expensive, Know this. We decided we didn't need sump pumps.

I had a leak in my basement and it seemed to be coming from the crack in the concrete. I called Mark looking to get an estimate on approximate repairs. He was very nice and professional over the phone and very accommodative regarding my schedule. He arrived punctually at the discussed time. As over the phone, he was polite, professional, and put me under no pressure. Within ten minutes he diagnosed the problem and informed it actually had nothing to do with outside water but my AC condenser outlet. So, in the end he didn't try to sell me on any unnecessary solution, but gave me a practical fix for which there was no cost. If I could give one take away from my time with Mark it's that he's honest and clearly good at what he does. Which is what you want when you are dealing with a professional who has a distinct knowledge advantage over you.

I received about our four six estimates to install a French drain in our basement. I am always surprised how much the estimates can vary and the estimates to do my basement were anywhere from $5500.00 to $8000.00. My basement is finished with molded vertical wood paneling, so I was concerned that this not be disturb when the job was done. The high estimate contractor said it would have to be ripped out, so he was eliminated as a possible contractor to do the job. Also, I have a small semi-unfinished section of my basement that contains an ejector pump (for the downstairs bathroom) and the boiler; both of these pieces of equipment are near the exterior wall of the basement and therefore in the path of where the French drain would be installed. Finally I have two closets that the French drain would have to be installed through. Despite the aforementioned obstacles to installing a drain on my job, ACM (Mark and his crew) did a very good job of working through them and around them. Hi crew (about five guys) overall was very professional and did the job in one day. It’s been almost two years since he did the work and my basement is dry as a bone. I am really happy that I bit the bullet and had the work done. The intensity rain storms that we have been having the past couple of years would have definitely caused water problems in my basement.
