Did a terrible job had to come back at least 3 times about 15 visits to store laid wrong from day 1 cut floor back ripped our molding and split it within 3 weeks the floor started crimping again. Called them back floor is peeling & chipping and we were told at that time that the floor was 3 years old, but it has a 30 year warranty. Then they went on to say our dogs peed on the floor my husband responded maybe 10 sq, ft. I'll give you but not 2400 sq. ft. They said they would send out a factory rep. this occurred in Nov. 2013 well they sent out one of their men and he was told to pick up a piece of flooring and bring it back for factory inspection he then called the owner of American Flooring and stated that he couldn't do it because the whole floor was peeling and he would not be able to get the piece back in. We were told when we bought the flooring that they had it by their back door and it gets rained on and snow and it stays nice and shiny, being we live on the water that was our main concern, and that they put a moisture barrier down. We went to the store again to complain about it peeling and it never shines always gets dull and we used what they recomended to clean the floor with. At that time they said look at the floor by the door it had 4" of rain on it from Sandy and it is still perfect. We have extra flooring dowstairs that went thru hurricane Sandy and they are in perfect shape. they laid the floor first of all to close to the wall when they cut it back about a month later it started to seperate, nd about 9mo. afterwards it started peeling. This is why we got a new floor because the old one was horrible, after paying all this money we have a worse floor then the old one. We ended up suing them of course they had a lawyer and we had pictures which they would not let them be submitted as evidence because my did not have a professional with him. After having this floor down for 3 years and three repairs we lost the cse. The owner stated that he saw the dogs pee on the floor when he was here my husband responded I was a cop for 27 years and testified a lot and never lied you are lying and you can't even look at me with that statement. When we went out I put pds and towels down for the dogs. We ended up getting $3,000. which they are paing $1,000. for three months. BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS FLOORING PLACE THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK OR PRODUCTS. AMERICAN FLOORING ON E. BAY AV. MANAHAWKINKIN AND RT 72 IN MANAHAWKIN. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THEIVES. THE INSTALLER INSTALLED INCORRECTLY AND NOW I AM SEE GAPS IN MY FLOOR AND A 1/8 WIDE I KEEP CALLING HIM AND HE ISNT RETURNING MY CALLS. WHEN I HIRED HIM HE PROVIDED ME WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE INSTALLATION , YET HE WONT TAKE OR RETURN MY CALLS. ALEX SAJE
