Description of Work: Asked for gutter cleaning services, they arrived ontime and proceeded to visit roof. After an brief inspection of the roof, they quoted me $1500 to patch a few areas of shingles and clean gutters. When i said " i only wanted my gutters cleaned out" they said $450... - I've had the gutters cleaned on this house a dozen times over the years. It has never cost more than $225. They seemed ****** when i didnt want their roof services. Seemed like this was a lead for gutters and a bait and switch... They left. Will not call gain.

+ -1 moreCalled and spoke to James. Asked him to come out to give me an estimate for gutter cleaning. He said they were very busy this time of year but he gave me an estimate based on the description of my house I provided him. He said if it would be more when they got to the house they would call me to let me know and find out if I wanted to go ahead with the cleaning. I agreed and set a date for his crew to come do the gutter cleaning. When the date of my appointment came I called James late in the afternoon to find out if they still had me on the schedule since my they had not yet gotten to my house. He said that the crew may have taken longer than expected with a prior appointment but I was still scheduled to have the cleaning done. They never showed up. No phone call to let me know or explain why. Don't waste your time like I did.

He said he did and came within a few days. He cleared a couple of clogged gutters and did a great job. I have him come twice a year and he just leaves the invoice in my mailbox. One less thing to worry about.

+ -1 moreHe was really good because the thing was I was in California for work and my wife and son were out of the country, and the day before we were leaving, so what happens is we have solar tiles on top of our roof and at the end of the winter when the snow is melting, it builds a lot of pressure on the gutter, and so the gutters above our garage broke. It was a quick job, I needed someone to come in. It was the day I was leaving for California for three weeks. He stand there and looked at everything, he gave me a reasonable price to fix our gutters. He explained what caused it, which is why I knew it was solar panels. He took care of everything. I showed him what needed to be done. He said, "Just pay me when the work is done." He came when no one was at home, he fixed it from the outside, the work was done, and he sent me an invoice to pay him within 30 days. It was great. A across the board, just very nice. If my gutters ever break, I'm calling him!

Because the roof had been raised to make the higher ceilings inside the house, the gutters were higher, he thought he could reach the gutters without a ladder. I wasn't happy that he charged more money because the gutters were higher. I wasn't happy that he increased the price. He responded right away. He was there on time. He was professional about everything except the extra price. He was more reasonable than the other people I called and talked to online. No, I would not use him again.

Description of Work: Asked for company to review inspect my current gutters to determine if replacement was recommended. They called back promptly and sent a rep shortly thereafter. Rep suggested a cleaning and scheduled that for me. Guys came within 2 days - cleaned and cleared ! A pleasure doing business with them. I will call again for regular maintenance and definitely hire Above All when I decide to replace. Wow - what a pleasure!
