I was not an ideal client. I am very cuttered by nature and was always rushing to get the place clear enough so that she could clean it. Deb never complained and always worked with me. After she left, the place smelled great (not perfumy, just clean) and I seldom found any place she had missed. They move smaller pieces of furniture to get behind them and take great pride in their professional reputation. I also used them for move-out service when I left that apartment. As a result I had no cleaning-related charges against my deposit. Great job MaidClean Pro!

The entire cleaning service has been consistently excellent. I have been using MaidClean Pro for about 5 months, on a bi-weekly basis. Service is always on schedule, prompt, thorough, and very courteous. Debbie, the business owner, has been highly professional and very responsive in answering any questions. On occasion, she even adds in a few additional cleaning services for no extra cost, in what I believe is a nice gesture of customer appreciation. My impression is this - treat your service provider with courtesy and respect and realize that they don't owe you the moon simply because you're paying them. In return, they will likely appreciate your business and treat you well. Beyond that, if a problem does arise, give them the reasonable opportunity to correct it. After all, everyone deserves the chance to make things right.
Description of Work: General house cleaning - floors, counters, sinks, bathrooms, appliances, furniture, rugs, dusting of exposed surfaces, etc.

I had a very pleasant experience from the moment the cleaning crew arrived till the moment they said goodby. Very nice workers, did a great job. Very customer friendly company!
Description of Work: I had a wonderful experience with this cleaning company! The cleaning crew was very courteous and friendly and got right to the job.They did such a great job on my kitchen and bathrooms! I've been disabled so the cleaning was overdue. They also dusted my living room, dining room set w/hutch, both bedrooms and vaccumed. I am definately having them back! It was well worth every cent!

Maidclean Pro is trustworthy, reliable, efficient, and worth every penny. It's such a pleasure to come home to a sparkling house after their visits. We've been very happy with their work for nearly three years now.
Description of Work: The MaidClean Pro people come and clean our house every two weeks without fail, and do a great job. They clean bathrooms, kitchen, surfaces, vacuum stairs and rugs, and mop the wood floors, getting them super clean even when the dogs have tracked in loads of mud during mud season.

Cleaning was done, however not all items were dusted (did not exeed expectations for such a reputable company). Crew left before alloted time. Paid in cash, but obtained a handwritten receipt on a sheet of ripped paper (professional). Owner, who was not there, was more defensive when i called to talk through it, than trying to resolve. She actually told me not to call her business again - which really made me more questionable about the level of professionalism and customer service that they market. I could not, in good faith, recommend them to family, friends, strangers or anyone else who asked.
Description of Work: Contacted the service to have house cleaned. Set date and time for crew to clean my home - 3 person crew for one hour and 20 minutes. Crew arrived at 9:05 and out of my home by 10:05. Crew was friendly. Contacted the owner shortly after I notices that dining room chairs were not dusted, one of two dressers in bedroom not dusted, another dresser in 2nd bedroom not dusted. Tops of heaters (box shell over heaters) was not dusted as were any of the 4 pictures. Bathrooms were done okay as was floor vacuumed and mopped. Kitchen was ok. Owner went on to tell me, the customer, that i did not understand how the man hours worked and that when their 1 hour and 20 min was up, they just stop and leave. I said i may not know a lot about the housecleaning "business", but i do know how to clean. I also explained that any reputable company would have dusted both dresser tops in the same room. They may have been in business over 25 years, and maybe the larger commercial customers are what she is looking for - but i was disappointed that she was more interested in educating me on the man hours than on helping to resolve my dissatisfation (with the crew leaving before my 1 hour and 20 minutes was up). Owner was disagreeing with me all the way so I just thanked her for the experience and that i had a whole list of referrals for her (6), but she did not seem to care and told me, in closing, to never call her company again. Now how is that for consumer customer service! I lost $120 and will never call or recommend this business again.

wow. this client is a business owner herself so she should know better than to go this low. I have been in business for 25 yrs and have many, many happy regular residential and commercial customers. I only hope no one trashes her business like she did mine. I knew she would do this as she made veiled threats... [this member] originally paid for services through [a referral website]. They had no service providers in the Utica area so they contacted me. After she contacted me to complain this is the exact email I sent to [the service]. It explains it all. O'brian is the contact at that website; : I have several concerns about this booking of our service for this client. When I tried to call you back and got no answer I called [this person] directly at 8:23 p.m.. She told me about the gift certificate she recieved from your service, which I was never told about when you contacted me. She agreed to pay us directly, in cash, and get reimbursement from you for the GC. I also spoke with her about my general cleaning guidelines, your standard cleaning, and the differences, since she was paying us directly rather than being able to use her GC for your service. [this person's] list of cleaning items: GENERAL CLEAN- KITCHEN, DINING ROOM, LIVING ROOM, 2 BATHROOMS, 3 BEDROOMS. hAND WASH ALL WALLS AND WOODWORK THROUGHOUT ENTIRE HOME. I explained in great detail that when we go in to do a one time clean we always charge by the hour. Some clients want certain things done no matter the final price and some only want to spend a certain amount of money. [This member] didn't want to spend more than $120.00 and understood that there would not be any wall or woodwork hand washing, only general cleaning for 4 man hours. I went on to explain that when the client is putting a cap on the price, $120.00 in this case, then they can expect us to work for 4 man hours($120.00 divided by $30) and stop when the time is up. With a team of 3 the actual time in the home is 1 hr. 20 min ( 4 MAN HOURS DIVIDED BY 3 PEOPLE = 1 HR 20 MIN). So we ask for a list of priorities and work off that list until time is up. She understood enough to make this choice, and agreed to leave her priority list. She asked what if you arent able to do a general clean on my entire home in 4 man hours. I suggested buying another block of time. She agreed. my team arrived at 8:43. [This member] wasnt home. [her husband] said there WAS a list but he couldnt find it. He tried several times to call his wife. He said i he had to pick that bathrooms and floors were the priority. He called his wife again and asked for the list. She said there isnt a list just do a standard clean. My team lead called me immediately with this information. She knew she had to make an educated guess based on the condition of the home and the lack of a list as to how to proceed. I agreed telling her to general clean the kitchen, bathroom, floors and as much dusting as possible until you reach 1 hr 20 min (4 man hrs w/3 people). The condition of the home was a level 3. 1 being very dirty and 5 being pristinely clean. There were children and a large dog in the home. There was considerable build up of dust and dog hair through out the home. The kitchen had considerable build up of greasy dust on every surface. The main entry had very large glass doors that were extremely dirty. [This member] came home at approximately 9:05 picked up her husband and stated they would be back soon. They arrived back at approximately 10:10. My team was just finishing up and taking equipment and supplies to the vehicle so the last person could mop their way out. Floors are always last. (wood floors throughout home. they are vac'd and mopped per OUR general cleaning guideline. Your standard clean says dust mop only on wood floors). [this member] did a walk through with the team lead and was very happy. She stated that everything looked great and smelled very clean. She also noticed that her entry glass doors were washed inside and out which is normally an 'extra". She paid my team lead $120.00 and my team left that home at 10:18. [this member] called me today, sat at 7:45 pm. stating that she was dissatisfied and would not recommend my service. She said she found dust on her headboard, dresser, dining chairs and some picture frames. She said she was never told she was to leave a list of priorities. She said she expected all her walls to be hand washed, all her woodwork to be hand washed, and she thought all this could be done in 4 man hours on top of a standard clean. [this member] said my team got there ater 9 and left at 10:10. Then she said they left at 10:00 Then she said they left at 10:05. I Reminded her that I personally told her we would need the list of priorities because she was buying a block of time. I explained to her in 2 phone calls Wednesday night that MY SERVICE could never wash all her walls, woodwork, and do a general clean of a home her size and condition where there are children and a dog in 4 man hours. I also told her that my crew was there at 8:43 because I was on the phone with my team lead when they arrived because they went to the wrong house across the street. And then again after my team lead asked for the list [this member] agreed to leave but failed to. I further stated to her that my team lead called me when they left at 10:20 to tell me how very happy [tis member] was with our service. I also expressed to her how very sorry I am that she failed to understand that she paid for 4 man hours of cleaning and expected a total top to bottom deep cleaning of her home after I explained it to her in great detail in 2 seperate phone calls Wednesday evening, 8:23 and 9:29 pm. I realize that my service does things diferently than [the referral service], but she was paying us directly for our service and needed to know how we work, which I explicitly explained to her. I have a 24 hr reclean policy. She was happy with the clean after the walk through, she paid us, and is now complaining 36 hrs later. Our 24 hr policy is for regular clients who arent home during their regular appointment and may need the 24 hr cushion to "inspect". But [this member] was there at 10:10 and inspected immediately. In my opinion, after working in this business for 25 yrs with many satisfied cleints and the several parties involved in this unusual transaction, the gift certificate, and my leaving no stone unturned explaining to [this member] Wed evening what to expect, I feel she is trying to get a free cleaning.
