Absolutely Outstanding Work! Chuck made it a point to get back to me during busy season and personally came by to quote. Within a few weeks he was able to get me in. His crew works like a well oiled machine, everyone doing their part. I can not believe how quickly everything progressed. The grade came out better than ever and it looks flawless. It is also unbelievably thick, which is a good thing. I was home sick while the job was being done. The windows were open and I could hear the guys talking while waiting for the asphalt to arrive... no one said they wanted to go home, couldn’t wait to leave, etc.... all they talked about the whole time was how to do the job the right way and the best they can. Truly blown away by the work in all aspects (quality, timeliness, communication, and also very fair priced). I would absolutely use Chuck and his crew again if needed.

I got an estimate from Mr. Humphreyville in early March of $7,400. The dimensions I requested were 22' at the entrance and 33' at the end and a length of approx 75' so a pretty big driveway. In April his crew came and did the grading and provided a layer of crushed stone as a base. About 2-3 weeks later his crew came back to do the asphalt, he laid down another layer of crushed stone, didn't know he was going to add the extra layer of stone. The thickness of the asphalt he provided is approx 3". I'm really happy with the result and if I ever had another paving job to do I'd definitely call him again.

He was there when he was suppose be there. He had a contract across the street at our neighbors before ours. When it came to our driveway. He got the guys started on it, them he left. His guys put fresh black top into my landscaping and around landscaping stones. When he showed up for his payment,which I paid in CASH, I should him what they did. He said, why in the world did they do that. He did not fix it right away while the black top was still fresh and hot. He told me he would be back. I called at least 20 times. Mostly talked to his wife and 2 times to the answering service. His wife said he would be back and now it is December 14th. Now he will have to cut the black top away to fix it and it is right at my front door. I will NEVER use him again or recommend him to anyone. I worked very had to save that money for my driveway and it looks like crap around my front door.

Chuck is a nice guy. Really cool, and was basically the only blacktop guy I met who stuck to his word. Whenever I called he answered. When he told me he'd show for the estimated he did. Everyone else jerked me around to the point that I actually put off doing the job until the following season. Chuck was a little late actually completing the work, but we had some serious rain, therefore I understood why he was a little backed up. The job went smooth and Chuck was on site the entire time. I had no mess to clean up, and I was so pleased with their work that I flew down to McDonalds and bought them lunch. Pricing was fair, and Chuck even cut me a slight break. I'd gladly hire him again and won't hesitate to recommend his company to anyone.

There are a lot of asphalt vendors in the area but not many that have been in business since 1974 which is why I hired Chuck for this work. I contacted several of my other neighbors to see if they would be interested, for you get the best price this way rather than calling back the vendor after he has left the area. I was told he could do all three driveways in one day, and each driveway came out perfect, everyone said it was money well spent and thanked me for contacting them. Another neighbor asked Chuck to come back to do their driveway after seeing how professional the crew was and the results of their labor. Make sure you include this vendor in your bidding process, you will find he offers great prices/and outstanding work for commercial/residential driveways and parking lots.

Everything went well. The only real problem that we've had is, over the years we got a couple of little sink holes that probably shouldn't have come back, but they did. It took probably 4 or 5 years to come back. They were very reasonable in terms of price.
