Extremely professional, responsive, with outstanding quality down to the smallest detail. The job was expensive because we went with a high end quality roofing material plus the plywood had to be replaced, and we replaced all the gutters. But, we have a lifetime warranty. We moved into this house over 20 years ago and the roof was not new at the time so it really needed the work that was done. I was impressed with the efficiency. 15+ people descended on the roof and worked until dark. Replaced the whole roof in one day with finishing touches such as the gutter and end caps on a second day. They used a magnet to collect anything that might have escaped their tarps and left the place with no trace they were here except for the new roof. We have all had contractors who leave us a mess to clean up after they depart. These guys are on a different level from the customer service standpoint. This was a nice touch. This is a high quality company and would highly recommend them. Very pleased with the job.

The work began as promised and a substantial crew finished in one day.

We had two teams - one for the roof and one for the gutters. Both teams were great. Steve was the foreman for our roofing team and he did a great job at communicating with us every step of the way. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. The gutter team arrived a couple of days later and again, they worked very quickly. We were awaiting the arrival of rain barrels so we gave them the dimensions and they cut the gutters to fit and gave us additional length to slide in for the winter months. Everyone we interacted with from the company was professional and courteous.

Steve from Xterior Solutions was quick to respond with a detailed quote. Appointment for replacing two (2) vent-pipe boots and surrounding shingles was within a week. Worker (Wilmer) showed up on time wearing protective gear (COVID timeframe) and provided pre and post pics of the repair. Very satisfied with the work performed and Xterior was inline with other estimates I had received .

Very good. Good customer service. Showed up on time. Cleaned up after themselves. When they were taking the shingles off, as they were sliding off it broke the screen off the windows in my back porch. They reimbursed me.

Did not chose this contractor because I received a lower price and was able to schedule job sooner. The salesman that gave estimate was very thorough, polite and professional.

I was so impressed with the team at Xterior Solutions on my roof repair that I had them come back and replace my gutters. Very professional team from top down - Owner (Jason) Sales (Matt), Project manager (Steve) Office staff (Caroline) and the Technicians performing the task! It went well. There were no problems. Disposal of old door and clean up after installation were great. They didn't have to re-do as much of the adjacent siding (that they had installed previously) as anticipated, and as a result lowered the cost from their upfront estimate. This was at least 2 or 3 years ago, so I don't recall dates or cost.

This project involved installing standing-seam metal roofing on an old house that has several little side roofs. One of the side roofs is flat and required a custom-made copper roof. Xterior Solutions performed almost all aspects of the job excellently. They repeatedly postponed starting the job for several months, but once the work began, the crew worked efficiently and carefully. About six men worked all day every day and finished in seven days. The foreman paid attention to all my concerns and addressed them. The workers were courteous and cleaned up the site. Jason, the owner of Xterior Solutions, and his staff were responsive whenever needed. I was worried about the siding, which is made of cedar clapboards. Installing the roof required removing sections of siding and then replacing them. Jason had told me that his company didn't normally deal with clapboard siding. So I wondered whether they would handle it properly. In the end, he sent a skilled carpenter who reinstalled the wood siding properly. Same story with the custom-made copper roof. This roof had to be tied into the walls at a corner -- not an easy task. Nevertheless, the installer did a fine job. Here is what sets Xterior Solutions apart as an excellent company. Some contractors will promise anything to get a job and then mess up the hard parts. But I got the sense that Jason is committed to doing a great job even on tough details that eat up time and money. Xterior Solutions’ pricing was in the middle of the bids I received and seemed fair. My only complaint involves the manufacturer’s warranty on the metal panels. Xterior Solutions said nothing about it. I contacted the manufacturer (ABC) and reached a sales manager who said that in case of a warranty claim, I only needed to cite the order number for the original sale from ABC to the contractor’s lumberyard. But there was no way for me to obtain this number: the lumberyard wouldn’t give it to me, and Xterior Solutions had different numbers. Finally the ABC sales manager looked it up for me. I think that when a job is finished Xterior Solutions should get this number and give it to the homeowner with guidance on the warranty.

Everyone at exterior solutions was excellent! All responded imnedialtly to any questions or concerns. The job was completed in a timely manner. Everything that they committed to was gone. I recommend exterior solutions for and needs. They are all professional and very knowledgeable. What a great team!! Thank you

Went well, repair completed and there hasn't been any new issues. Winter is now here, so that will better test the repair.

Xterior Solutions was great to work with start to finish. From the initial sales call with Matt Sullivan, I was confident that the company was capable and dependable. Matt was very knowledgeable (told me things other roofers neglected to mention) and was punctual. Xterior has great reviews for a reason...their salespeople are professional, their workers are punctual and very skilled, and the end product is terrific. On top of it all, my warranty from Xterior (ultimately straight from Owens Corning) was MUCH better (2x as long, I believe) than what I was quoted from a "big box" store that I was ridiculously close to hiring. Importantly, Matt advised me as to the importance of soffit vents which were never even mentioned by other prospective installers. Everything Matt told me regarding the soffits, the shingles to be used, the installation, all turned out to be true. To top it off, Xterior completed the job in a little over one day! I was amazed as it required the old roof to be torn off and the new work to be done...in addition to all the cleanup. The owner of the company even showed up on the day of install and was very responsive to all of my inquiries (as was the salesman Matt). I can't even emphasized how great Xterior was great to deal with. On top of their professionalism all around, the price I paid was actually lower than other bids I received even though the warranty I received was MUCH longer and the shingles used for the job were of superior quality! (Owens Corning). I would absolutely recommend Xterior Solutions for your roof! I absolutely dreaded taking this project on but Xterior made the process painless and their finished product looks absolutely terrific. Their work made the house look SO much better. Just got done, and went well. The people were really wonderful to work with. It took a bit longer than I expected, involved more steps than I expected. I think the price was right.

this is a review about what went right. Caroline called me within a couple of hours of my inquiry on Angie's List. We set up an appointment for that same day with Steve. He reviewed the roof and proposed project, which was to replace the asphalt shingles. I was originally thinking about a metal roof and he provided me some good perspective on this choice. He left me with a detailed proposal which covered everything. Two days later we signed a contract for this job. Although it has been a really rainy season they completed this job within the estimated timeframe. The crew and dumpster arrived on the arranged day. My house is kind of small but I was surprised when they finished in little over six hours, including cleanup. The clean up was done as they proceeded and they left my yard in better shape than when they arrived. The roof looks great and just in time for our first snow. When I realized I needed a roof I got a bit scared as there are a lot of scams out there. But these folks were above board and professional in all of our dealings and I would definitely recommend them.

I can’t even give a review for actual roof work because I never got past the rudeness of Caroline who worked in the office. The salesman who came to my home gave me an estimate & suggested I go to the showroom to look at the samples. Apparently this was not okay with Caroline. She closed the office door & began yelling to the salesman about how I showed up without calling. She continued yelling because apparently she had a problem when I called the office because I couldn’t find the building. I guess this behavior is acceptable. I never received a phone call from the owner. He was well aware of what transpired because Caroline called my house and left message apologizing. Update 12/10/2018: Jason, It’s interesting that the only time I heard from Caroline for an apology was after she stated she saw my negative review. She’s the one that stated on two separate phone calls that you would probably reach out to me but that never happened. Believe me I heard her loud and clear through the wall and she wasn’t just having a conversation with Matt. If she felt that she didn’t do anything wrong please explain to me why she told me over the phone that she didn’t think I heard her. And I wouldn’t expect Matt to go against the company that gives him a paycheck. You can spin it anyway you want but I know what happened. Don’t blame it on customers not being able to find your showroom.

Outstandingly reliable, professional, trustworthy, cooperative. One of the best contractor experiences I have ever had.
