 + -1 moreFrom start to finish - very responsive, came on short notice, identified the problems, presented the most expensive options imaginable, back peddled when pushed and ended up repairing the situation for less than 1 tenth the total repair cost initially proposed.
Description of Work: Was experiencing problems with a Hague Water Softening system and a separate water deacidification soda ash dispenser by another manufacturer. We have been using this company for several years as he is the ONLY Hague representative in the area. Very responsive, came over within a few hours to investigate the problem. However, came up with two very expensive repairs. When pushed he back peddled and was able to fix (rather than replace) the water softener problem by tightening some screws rather than the used $3,500 replacement unit. The soda ash dispenser required either a pump rebuild or a new pump which needed to be delivered. I had the new pump installed and ordered a rebuild gasket kit for a few dollars from the pump supplier to ensure I had a backup. . Work performed is good but can never shake the feeling that I'm being taken for a ride and offered the solution which generates absolutely the most revenue and profit for the provider while a simpler, cheaper fix is available. Am stuck with a proprietary water softener system which came with the house. This is the regional representative so am obliged to work with him or switch out the system.
