THE CLEANING AUTHORITY

Let me say I gave this service more chances than I should have. The owner was always apologetic, so I would continue to torture myself. The service had been coming to my house for several years. Whenever I tried to explain something to the cleaners, they didn't know what I was saying. I would relay the message back to the owner. He said he would talk to them. Example: please don't clean my windows, I just did them myself, and now you wiped them with a dirty rag. They were all smeared with something. My other thought was, did you not see how clean they were already? They have broken so many items in my home I can't count, I'm still finding things. Never did they bring a broken anything to me. They just left it, in its place. They rushed through my house weekly, which was not the problem. They banged up my furniture, walls, molding, tables, chests,chair legs, cabinets. My wood floors have scratches, dents and other marks. The wood floors were not cleaned well, the crappy vacuum and laziness left the floors, dusty and dirty. I think they used a swiffer thing to wash the floors? You can't clean a floor with a swiffer. When I was home the banging and slamming, of whatever they were doing was so loud it made me jump sometimes. I came upstairs a few times when it happened, and the cleaners would look at me like Nothing happened? The cleaners also have a bad attitude. You can't complain or ask them anything. Nasty. I'm so relieved that they are no longer coming to my home. The night before they came I would get a knot in my stomach..I think this defeats the purpose. I have been cleaning my own house. They did not clean anything that they couldn't see, so anything 5' or above, was never touched. They would also take my cleaning supplies, because theirs do not work. Don't let them clean mirrors or glass, they are smeared and smudged. They also dry dust, so that does nothing but puff the dust up and land back down on the furniture. They also threw some important papers and other things in the garbage that they had no business touching in the first place. I could go on and on. Office was of no help and seemed to have an answer immediately. Leads me to believe it's a repeated complaint from other clients.

I use them because you know my father is elderly. I trust them and that is my biggest concern.

It went very well. The team of three cleaners arrived later than anticipated but were very industrious and completed the entire job in the five hours estimated. They cleaned the house much better than our previous vendor and the hourly rate was less.

I think he terminated me because he does not have enough employees. He canceled it for no apparent reason. After I called them out on it they said my home was a health hazard, and that his employees did not want to work for me, but had never mentioned that before. He came to my house to assess the situation and I asked him to point out the hazard. He said he did not have to give a reason and stormed out. If they had a problem with me or my home they should have told me after the last cleaning, not before they were supposed to show up for the next, or they should have never taken me on as a client. They have terrible customer relation skills and I will not use them again. I have also reported him to the BBB and franchise owners.
