Great sense of humor, prompt and meticulous in his work. He was a pleasure to do business with and I would highly recommend him.

Matt is a class act. We recently purchased a home and wanted to paint the inside of the house prior to moving in. We were referred to Matt by Aboffs in Huntington. Matt came to the house to give an estimate and was very professional and thorough. The estimate was very fairly priced and accurate. Matt is truly a master at painting. He did a fabulous job. Matt was kind enough to point out any defects he found along the way and asked if we wanted them repaired, throwing some in at no charge. Matt is a perfectionist and it truly shows in his high quality of work. I feel confident that Matt will do a stellar job with any household repair/improvement. We have quite a few things that we want done in the new home and Matt has been coming by almost every week for 2-3 months now. Every time we think of something we want done, we call Matt. Matt is trustworthy, professional and an overall good guy. We highly recommend him.

matt fixed some holes in our walls, installed a solid shelf in our garage, and put some draft stoppers on our doors. All went well and he was professional in returning our calls and showing up on time.

Matt is a truly skilled craftsman and his work exceeded our expectations. Before hiring him, my wife and I ripped up the outdated carpetting, underlying tile, and then the underlying mastic-covered plywood from our bedroom, which left us with just our sub-floor which was in pretty bad shape. It was very unlevel, full of squeaks, and somewhat warped. We plan to put hardwood flooring in there so we knew now was the time to fix the underlying issues to ensure the best end-result. We had a couple people give us estimates on installing new plywood, including some flooring companies, but after meeting Matt we knew he was the guy for the job. We were very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and assessment of the situation. When other guys said, "yea i'll put the plywood in for X dollars" and left me with a card, Matt took the time to explain exactly what we were dealing with and what exactly he would do to make sure everying was level, without squeaks, and ready to receive a hardwood floor free of foundational and aesthetic issues. His price was very reasonable as well. Matt is licensed and insured, and had me sign a contract which also put my mind at ease, knowing that I'm working with someone who takes their work seriously and isn't out to play games. As for the project, it was completed promptly, quickly, and thoroughly; I couldn't be more satisfied. I plan to hire Master Handyman Services in the near future for whatever else comes up in my home, as I know I'll be paying for quality and to have the job done right the first time. Lastly, Matt is a really nice guy and a pleasure to work with. Very highly recommended!

If you need carpentry work and tiling I can highly recommend Matt. He is very knowegeable and eager to please his customer. He wants you to be satisfied with the job. Both my rear deck and my front porch are now show places. Don't hesitate to call him for services. He is honest, trustworthy and competent.

Matt Stern at Master Handyman Services has been a godsend for us as we were preparing our home for sale. Since our home is an older house, a lot of minor repairs and improvements were needed. From the start, Matt was professional, cheerful, upfront about costs, and offered us choices in how best to proceed, explaining all of the pros and cons of each option. Every task he took on was completed with expertise, and his friendly manner and flexibility in scheduling and planning the work was incredibly helpful, as we had another contractor renovating our kitchen at the time. He urged us to inspect everything closely, and when we did, we found no cause for complaint at all. His prices are very reasonable, especially considering the overall high quality of the work, and he even offered us advice at no charge on repairs we took on ourselves. He was very good about keeping us updated on the projects and their status, and unlike some other contractors who won't explain details about the work they're doing or the reasons behind pricing, he explained in a clear and straightforward manner whenever it was needed and gave us thorough breakdowns on costs for each individual job. We asked a lot of questions, and he handled them all with a cheerful and professional demeanor. We were so happy with his work that we requested more work from him while the first contracted jobs were in progress. His attention to the details of his handiwork is refreshing, and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who is better at doing a wide variety of home repairs and improvements. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Matt and Master Handyman Services.
