Description of Work: Clearview roofing is a great company. Eric is awesome! He came to my home on time and treated me like a good friend. I explained I was a new homeowner and he gave me a very fair price, half of what others had quoted me. Eric went above and beyond. I needed my gutter downspout to be re-routed and when he took a look at the house, he told me I also needed my patio gutter to be pitched. He pitched it at no extra cost. He also cleaned my gutters as well. When his guys came to do the job, they found another gutter line that needed to be pitched so they just did the work without question or extra cost and showed me after. Great company, will definitely hire again when I need my roof done in the future

Description of Work: purchased an estimate from Angie's List to get a quote for a a leak in a roof for a small addition on the house. His quote was very high considering Angie's List advertisies a complete roof for $6995 for a 2000 sq. foot roof. I live in an upscale neighborhood and i felt his quote reflected my nighborhood not the amount of work involved. Had the entire roof on the addition replaced for substantially less than his quote and more in line with the $6995 for a 2000 sq foot roof, based upon the size of the roof area

+ -1 moreKevin and I exchanged 4 or 5 voicemails each way. I then spoke to him a couple of times, and he sounded interested by the job, we scheduled a time, but he did not show. I then got a call from someone he worked with, who did not call back when he said he would. I called Kevin one more time but he never called back. Kevin spent a good amount of time returning my messages and talking to me, and seems like a diligent person. Not sure why he would not come and see the job. If you are not interested or too busy, just say so and not waste time!

+ -1 moreA few other estimates were much higher and involved a complete replacement of all shingles and plywood. Clearview came up with a much cheaper alternate solution that involved working with some of the existing material and still gave us a less expensive but top quality job. They took the time to work with us rather than just say that we needed a whole new roof. We would use them again for any future roofing needs.

I just got the guy from the phonebook he was given recommendations by a lot of people, every one of them, usually in the neighbourhood people charged 10 to 20% more but this guy said my prices are the same for every house, No matter what the house and what neighborhood, So he was honest. And he was the cheapest. They did 36 squares and they did it in a day and half. He came on later in the day and doublechecked all his work, if there was any other work. He made sure that there was no garbage left in the ground the gentleman's name is Peter.
