Suffolk Systems is fantastic. Lorie is so great to deal with, extremely friendly and responsive. Both times, the issue was difficult to diagnose, but they were persistent and kept at it until it was properly diagnosed and fixed. I absolutely would use them again.

I'm so impressed with Danny and the other gentlemen that was here (sorry i forgot your name!) Danny came last week for an estimate, we talked about what I wanted and he came up with the perfect answer. Today they completed the job. They were early, complete professionals, neat and caring. I couldnt be happier. Lori was also very attentive and had this scheduled for me quickly. You guys are awesome, thank you so much!!

I cannot say enough good things about Suffolk Systems. From the quoting process to finishing the installation, they were a pleasure to work with. My 20+ year old 2 zone central air system was finally on its last legs and we decided to replace the system now when we could make the decision, not when it would unpredictably die and we could be stuck with no AC. I received multiple quotes from various companies ranging from large places like Home Depot/Lowes/Sears to some smaller installers in the Suffolk County area. Suffolk Systems not only had competitive pricing, they specialize in American Standard equipment which according to Consumer Reports is by far the most reliable brand, even when compared against Trane, Carrier, etc. Lori was so great to work with. She setup our quote, prepared our contract, and provided exceptional customer service. Danny arrived at our home to give our estimate. He was the only one out of all companies to put on protective booties on his shoes while we walked through my home. It was a nice touch! We discussed my system and he explained the entire process of replacing my system. I asked a multitude of questions and he was more than happy to address them. On the day of installation, Danny came with two other Suffolk Systems employees. They each introduced themselves and then proceeded to put down drop cloths from the front door all the way up the stairs, through the hallways, and into the room with attic access. They got right to work and never stopped for 10+ hours. They finished both zones in one day! Upon finishing the installation, Danny walked me through how to change my media filters and explained how the system was laid out. Him and his team cleaned up EVERYTHING inside and outside. When they left, you couldn't tell anyone had even been here. It was amazing. I look forward to using Suffolk Systems in the future and especially for my seasonal tune-ups.

No professional follow through, return call or estimate. They wasted my time!

FANTASTIC! Very responsive...received a phone call with 30 minutes on the weekend. Scheduled an appointment. He arrived exactly on time and was able to figure out the problem immediately. They gave me options for some of the issues I was complaining about and did NOT hard sell. Would absolutely call them again...fantastic company and so happy I used them!

It went very well. They returned my call the same day and scheduled an appointment within 5 days. Matt showed up almost on the dot. He was dressed neatly and was very professional in his discussions of what I needed, what he did and what he recommended and why. The only complaint I have, and I consider it a minor one, is that I need something different done to my system which Matt could not provide an estimate for and I have yet to receive a call from the owner, who is the only one who can discuss this job with me. I placed a call today, 7/27/15. Let's see what happens.

In April 2015, we hired Suffolk Systems to install a new central air system and install a/c ducts, and vents in our home. From start to finish, Suffolk Systems did a fabulous job. First off, Mike and Dan had the difficult task of designing how it should be done, and where to install the unit, ducts, vents and recirculator. Since our house is an older home with some high ceilings, this was not an easy task. With Mike and Dan's expertise, everything turned out beautifully. The duct work took up minimal space, and the all the venting was perfectly done. I have never seen anyone work as hard as these 3 young men from Suffolk Systems. They were so accurate with all the measurements, and so careful and neat cleaning up after every cut. Our new central air system is working beautifully. We are definitely using Suffolk Systems for all our a/c maintenance as well. My husband and I liked everyone from this company. Lori and Mike the owners, are such wonderful people. Their consistent communication throughout the whole process was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Suffolk Systems for any air conditioning job needed. We trust any job Suffolk Systems does, would be well done.

Very impressed and happy with the central air conditioning unit. Lori was great and very responsive. She went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule for the installation. Everything went smooth from the paperwork to the installation of the unit. Rob and his crew did excellent work. They were courteous and neat and even repaired the leaks in the duct work at no additional charge. Rob took the time to explain how the system worked and gave advice on how to run the system efficiently. I would highly recommend their service.

They came a smidge late (but they did call to say they would be late..) It turned out that the compressor needed to be replaced, not repaired, but the estimate of the replacement was a bit too much for me to afford. I did not decide to replace the system but I would definately use them in the future after I save up some money. Lori was very understanding and said that since they were not able to repair anything they would refund the cost of the money I had given them for them for the diagnostics to repair the irreparable unit. Awesome company. Excellent business.

One zone in my home stopped blowing cool air. Suffolk systems quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. The tech was very professional and offered additional information to help me avoid future problems. I emailed Suffolk Systems about my problem early Monday morning and a tech arrived the next morning. Great service.

Suffolk Systems employee's , Dan & Matt, were punctual and professional. Dan diagnosed the problem as being a circuit board in the compressor. The board needed to be replaced. It took a few days for the part to come in and was promptly replaced. The A/C still wasn't cooling efficiently, so Suffolk Systems sent Matt to check it out. This appointment took place on A Sunday! Matt discovered that that the system was low on Freon. The compressor and handler areas were checked for leaks. None was found. He added freon and now the system seems to be cooling efficiently. If the system continues to lose Freon a more thorough check for leaks would be necessary. I was not charged for the Sunday service appointment, just the Freon. All work was handled efficiently and professionally. I was very happy with the company and know that they will stand behind their work.

I could not have asked for a better experience. Mike and his crew were the epitome of capability, professionalism, punctuality and cleanliness. The A/C system was installed, as proposed, with a minimum of disruption and now runs like a dream come true. Suffolk was best among three Angie's List bidders and was the only one that passed along the available rebates. This speaks to the honest approach and the integrity of Mike and Suffolk. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and it's "do it right", rather than "just get it done", attitude.

When my cooling system stopped working, I called Suffolk Systems, and Lori sent a serviceman over to check on the problem that very day. The serviceman discovered the problem and fixed it immediately. He suggested that I might have caused the problem by turning on the system when there was still snow on the outside unit. He wasn't being accusatory; he was simply saying it was a possibility. He was extremely professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Many?or I should say, most companies forget about their clients as soon as they finish the job. Suffolk Systems is not like that. They treat all their customers?old and new?as though they were the most important people in the world. I really appreciate that. Do not hesitate to call Suffolk Systems for your heating/cooling needs.

Danny was very professional. Did the job until it was complete. Showed up on time. Would hire them again. Though the price was high and we weren't expecting to have to pay so much, I am not sure that it is an unreasonable fee for the work done. I needed it done urgently and did not have time to research for a better price. They may have been low for all I know. But it was still a high cost of repair to us.

Mike and his team were the only ones of all the providers we spoke to that didn't just come in, ask me about square footage and say yeah, you need a 5 ton and all will be good. He took the time to understand what had been installed previously and why it was incapable of providing consistent, even cooling across the house. He spent hours coming up with a plan that would address the poor layout of the already existing high velocity system and what would need to be done to balance that system (fix someone else's mistakes basically) through adding registers and re-configuring the number of registers in certain rooms. We have a Frankenstein of a split with a large addition and all of the rooms create quite a challenge for proper cooling. Again, every other contractor just wanted to replace what we had for $12K-$14K - meanwhile when the system was operating it was not sufficiently cooling the house. So, above I gave the price a B, but it is closer to a B+ or A-... there is incredible value to me in the time Mike spent to come up with the proper system and to make sure that the house would actually be cool in every single room vs. just slapping something new in there which is what every other contractor wanted to do. Yes, the cost was high, but we replaced a 5 ton system and added 2 ductless units AND it is balanced and the house is finally cool when it is freakin hot out!! They were even able to figure out how to bring heat (ductless units also can provide heat) to a previously unheated part of the house which was a bonus. Danny and the rest of Mike's team were great and we have been happy with the system thus far. Bottom line is, the difficulty in cooling a place like ours needed someone who actually knows what they are doing, like Mike Kempf. You can pay less, for a jam it in job that some yahoo eyeballs or you can get it done right by these guys.

excellent! danny, the serviceman, was punctual, clean, willing to listen and offer a resolution he was not bothered at all...patient, explained in detail so i understood exactly what he was doing he replaced a valve, inverted the coiling system so the unit would work optimum/ it's been cold ever since on my 2nd fl lori was a gem as well/ she gave me her cell ph# and i called her late hours, early hours.... no bother / answered my questions and was very professional as well

Suffolk Systems made the entire process very easy. Mike came to the house and designed a system to accommodate my needs. He explained the concept of heat pumps and how placement of each unit would work to cool or heat the entire house or just particular rooms. A few weeks later, his team showed up right on schedule and completed a fairly difficult job?I have plaster walls and asbestos shingles?within the time promised. They left everything clean and neat, so when they left, the only way you could tell they had been there was the coolness and comfort of the house. A week later, I did have a problem with one of the drain lines. I called and left a message (after hours), received a call back in no time, and they were at the house at 7 AM the following morning to rectify the problem. This is a wonderful company. I recommend them without reservation.

Just need a new filter for humidifier which they had and showed me how to change it in 3 months

Our technician was very friendly and professional. He came the first day, talked everything through and gave me an estimate. He also then fit us into his schedule for the next day in order to replace the thermostats quickly and before other work was being done on our walls (so as not to cause damage to that work). His estimate was also correct, though I felt a little bit pricey for the ultimate time and materials the job entailed. I would definitely use Suffolk Systems again for my HVAC needs.

They did very good work. They were working in a 100 degree attic. They cleaned up well. It was as if they were never even there. They had also put in a system in my old house.

I selected this supplier specifically because they had such good ratings on Angie's List. I called them three times during business hours over a two week period in September. Got an answering machine each time and explained what I was looking for and asked them to call me back. No one ever did.

I called the provider 3 times and left a detailed message. My call was never returned. This was not in the height of the summer so I do not know why someone would be unable to return my call. If they were away then they should have a message on their answering machine stating so.
