Edwin at Southwinds met with me once and was able to understand my needs. He submitted a timely proposal and a revised proposal base don follow-up conversations. His team did a good job putting in the footings I needed for my pergola and landscape lighting project. They also did a very good job a resetting the paving stones which was a very tricky job given the requirements to match the grade for the footings.

Edwin, the owner of Southwinds Landscaping, returned my call the same day I called him. Later, on the same day, he came to my property and gave me an estimate on the spot His men started the job (top-dressing my driveway and parking area with bluestone grave) a few days later and did excellent work. I was sufficiently impressed with the quality of his work that the following week I had him to do some landscaping, weeding and mulching of my flower beds. Everything is top notch! He is reliable and his prices are very fair - even a bit lower than other landscapers I've been using. I plan to use him for all my gardening and masonary job

Competitive price, good customer relations and committed to doing the job right HOWEVER he misjudged and lacked the proper "excavation" equipment to do the job right. He was persistent did the job but it took far longer than it should have and there was more damage to the lawn than would have been had he had the heavier equipment I feel he would be ideal for a smaller project and would not hesitate to use him for a smaller project

They did excellent work, they were very efficient in getting the job done by the date requested and their price was great. I highly reccomendations them!!!

Their service was amazing. They got the job done in 1 day which seemed like it would take any other crew of workers 2-3 days. I asked them to create a stone flowerbed in our back yard and they went above a beyond making it wrap around the whole yard when I only expected a smaller section. I have been recommending them to several people.

Edwin was the only landscaper that called me and he called quickly. I told him that it was an emergency yard cleanup (front & back) that I needed done today (I have a rental property that the town has been giving me a hard time about). He gaved me a fair price and his crew did the work within a few hours of my initial call! The owner, Edwin went to the job to make sure that his employees did the work correctly. He is very professional, prompt, curteous and his workers did a great job. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!

Edwin Rivas came to my house even before he called which worked out fine. The job was mowing both sides the line through the woods to my house. I had let the maintenance go for a few years and the weeds and poison ivy were taking over. It was really a rotten job. He didn't give me a song and dance about how difficult the job was and gave me a quote right away. Since I was waiting for another quote I told him I would get back to him. After hearing the next quote, I called and asked to do the work. His employees came early the next morning and did a great job.

Question your sales rep if any sub contractors will be used on your job other than the the company that you are signing with.If so find out whose responsible for what.

They were available on my schedule, did a professional trimming job with almost no guidance and were cheaper than the next lowest bid by 50%. I would definitely hire them again.

Hired Southwinds to redo my driveway (blacktop and pavers), stoop (pavers) and landscaping. The guys were there everyday on time and worked really hard. More importantly, they did a fantastic job. Don was a pleasure to deal with and gave a fair estimate. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
