Poison Ivy Removal.com

this company has failed to live up to there warranty even though it was a very simple fix. workers promised me they would return and now the owner who did say he would return has been ignoring all my attempts at contact. Im trying very hard to let him live up to is 100 percent guarantee but he flat out refuses to be a good business man. i would NOT hire this company when there are so many others out there. Im sure owner will come on here an act like im asking for something that was not in the original contract but he will be 100 percent wrong....and lie. the contract was very clear that they would remove any underground roots and they did remove 95 percent of them. the workers told me they would return no problem if this missed any and to just give them a call. well the owner clearly does not honor his Guarantee. He even told me he would return and then decided to just ignore all my attempts at reaching him.

I called and sent in a check for the work. They misplaced the check and each time I called to schedule they put me off and kept telling me they didn't have the check. They were rude until I demanded to spoke to speak to the owner who is nice and finally took care of it.

I will definitely not choose in the future. I have 2 18 month old boys and poison ivy growing from the yard next door(abandoned house) I have no issues paying for it but I need it gone. I am highly allergic so I myself am afraid to remove it myself. Was hoping to get professional help. Guess they are to busy and don't need the work.

Despite requests for an estimate this company never responded even after a few calls.

* DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! * The office staff is clueless, it took over 3 weeks and many calls to find out when they were coming to remove my poison ivy. After the removal I was told by my landscaper that there was still poison ivy growing in one section of my yard and that there was Virginia creeper everywhere. I had explained thoroughly that I wanted any potentially harmful growth removed. I also explained that I did not know the difference between poisonous and non poisonous plants so please remove anything that could be harmful to my 18 month old daughter, my 2 huskies and myself who is 7 months pregnant. AFTER I paid $1000, I could never get a phone call back from the owner Steve, only nasty incoherent emails in which he stated that he would only come back for another estimate to charge me more money to remove what he left behind! Please do not hire this company, it is a waste of time and money!!

He called me within 5 min. of my sending him the photos to let me know it was not poison ivy. I was relieved and very impressed with his follow through, and would use his services if I had had poison ivy. His direct tel. # is: 516-852-1664. He is responsible, honest and has a sense of humor, too!

The crew was on time, worked hard for most of a day and dug out 95% of the crap--and it was worth every dollar. Work had a time warranty, Steve honored and responded, and they returned later for a few hours to get missed or new growth. It's expensive, yes, but it ranks as one of those jobs, like cesspool work, you'd expect to pay more for. Steve is a trustworthy, good guy.

The woman on the phone told me someone would come by to give me an estimate and they never showed up.

I called to get them to come out for an estimate and was told that they'd call back within 7 days. I'm still waiting 2 weeks later. In the meantime, I talked to another provider who came out promptly, walked our property and gave me a reasonable estimate. I guess we were too far out of their area.

We had poison Ivy all around our yard. We called and they came to give us an estimate. They followed through. Fast, and clean

We only opted for an assessment and estimate, and did not have the work done.

They were very professional and they did the job very well. I really liked that they didn't use chemicals. The only thing I didn't like was the price bc they were a little expensive.

They did a very complete job. They don't just spray it..they dig it out of the ground and are very thorough, which is the only way to really get rid of it.. I'd give them an A.

I was doing some weeding in my yard and came down with a horrible rash, that I thought was poison sumac. I called poison ivy removal.com and spoke with Steve. He told me it was most likely not poison sumac over the phone (given my location), and told me he would be happy to come by and look over the property and give me an estimate. He arrived when he said he would and took a walk around my property with me. As it turns out, there was no poison sumac, but there were a couple of poison ivy plants. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all the other plants / weeds on my property and pointed them out and gave me details on how to remove them. After he was done, he told me that there really wasn't enough poison ivy on the property to justify his minimum fee. I was very impressed with his honesty, (some people would have just told me it was all over the place, and over charged). Although I didn't have to use him, I definitely would trust him in the future.
