Mike, arrived promptly and proceeded to install 2 bathroom doors for me, including hinges and door knobs. He was courteous, professional and did a very good job. He cleaned up after the job was completed and the cost was quite reasonable. Mike also went the extra mile for us. Due to a mistake on my part, I failed to tell Mike that my wife had purchased new mats for the bathroom which were considerably thicker than the old mats. As a result the doors jammed under the new mats. When I mentioned this via E-mail to Mike, he was very considerate and said he would come over to re-cut the doors. He showed up on the next work day and re-cut the doors without charge. As a result both my wife and myself are very happy with the new doors.

Our AC unit died and we replaced it with a ductless system. It was a 20,000 BTU monster, through our kitchen wall. As always, I went to Angie's List and checked out "Handyman". I called Mike Winepole of Mike's Handyworks Inc. Mike returned my call and came by to look at the job. I told Mike what I wanted done, he said no problem, gave me a fair price and we were on. Mike arrived on time the day of the job, laid down tarps and went to work. He carefully dismantled the AC removed it by himself and put it on the curb as I requested. Mike built a frame inside the hole, insulated it, closed it in with plywood and sheetrock. When Mike finished taping and spackling the wall is ready to paint. This man is friendly, prompt, clean and knowledgeable.

I just moved into a new house and have a long list of needs that I just don't have the time for but needed immediate attention. Mike immediately contacted me back via Angies list when I emailed him through the site to inquire about an estimate. He came to the estimate exactly when he said he would, he gave me a reasonable price quote and was able to do the work a few days later. While he was there, I had several needs we didn't discuss in the initial estimate and he was able to do them same day. Mike was personable, professional, did exactly the work I asked him to do and charged exactly what he said he would charge...no surprises. Some of the work wasn't pretty, for instance the TVs have the wires hanging down, but he told me that upfront and he was 1/3 the price of the guy that was going to hide the wires. I will use him again in the near future and have no reservations referring him to others.

Mike is very professional, he came and gave me an estimate, and completed the job the same week. He shows up on time, works quickly and cleans up after he is finished. I recommended him to my sister and I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends.

Replaced all three hinges, which I provided, on the upper cabinet door and centered it so the door would close completely. I could not get the door to close, but he had it fixed in 40 minutes. He took off the door and replaced all the hinges, as well as drilled new mounting holes for the screws in the cabinet which wasn't easy considering the angle and height of the cabinet. Overall, he did a good job, although I did have to clean-up the sawdust from the screw holes afterwards. I would recommend him and use him again.

Mike was always quick to respond to my email and phone calls. He was available immediately to give me an estimate for the work I needed. He was also available to come the following week once he got the materials. Mike showed up on time. The job was completed quickly, and looks great. He was finished in a couple of hours and cleaned everything up - he even vacuumed and mopped before he left. We were very happy and impressed with the work he did, and that he left the place like he had never been here. We will have no hesitation to recommend him any of our friends.

He left the excess sheet rock is still in my garage and the old sheet rock that he had taken down is in plastic bags on the side of my home for me to get rid of. He did not spackle the seams correctly--they are all cracking. The ceiling needs to be sanded and respackled. There are big spaces in between the floor molding joints in my kitchen.

I called Michael and made an appointment to see the house. Michael was punctual and friendly. He gave us an estimate, which we felt was fair and warranted. He returned on the day and time that he and my mother had agreed upon in his truck, which was well-stocked with equipment and also the necessary insulation and plywood. He finished the work in about 2 hours, start to finish. He also noticed that my mother's smoke detector in the basement was in need of a new battery; he replaced it and reinstalled it. It's not easy finding someone reliable and reasonably priced to do this kind of job; a good handyman is exactly what we needed. Also knowing that he is a nice person helped since my mother is quite old and doesn't have too many visitors aside from family. The job was completely finished, though I thought the insulation was kind of bunched up in there when I looked at it. But there is no longer a draft coming in (and the insulation replaces some old towels and socks we'd used as a temporary measure; much better!). We do now also have extra insulation left over to use elsewhere in the basement. I would definitely call Michael again for my mother's house or my own home.

Mike was one of a few handymen from whom I received estimates - his was pretty in line with the rest of them. We wound up using him because of not only his good reviews on Angie's List, but he was very punctual and honest. He was also right on time on the day he was performing the work. He told me exactly what supplies I needed before-hand and recommended a few places I could find them. Although we had to reschedule the first appointment due to inclement weather, he called me far enough in advance and rescheduled with me. The work was done in an appropriate amount of time and he left behind no mess (he even asked me where he should leave the debris and old siding). I have already recommended him to my in-laws, who were also impressed with his work.

I was extremely disappointed with Mike. We asked for him to install a toilet, paint a room (approximately 300 sq feet with cathedral ceiling); mount a tv; and extend baseboard heat. He was initially very responsive and came out to see the work that needed to be done. His quote was not unreasonable. However, when we asked for a breakdown/itemization, he refused ? citing that he does not do piecemeal work. I found his response very arrogant and unprofessional. After I explained why I wanted to have the job itemized, he became completely unresponsive. I tried contacting him several times afterwards and he didn?t return any calls or emails. It has been 3 weeks and we still have not heard a peep from him ? not even an apology or acknowledgement of my follow-up. This is very unprofessional and if it is any indication of the work that we could have expected, he did us a favor by showing his true colors (ie> lack of professionalism) before engaging in the project. For this reason, I would not recommend or hire him.

He was very good; I will probably use him again. He was not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. He showed up when he said he would. He made no mess. He worked quickly and seemed to know what he was doing. His price was exactly what his estimate was. I think he did a good job and was very professional. I will use him again.

I contacted Mike via email through his company and he contacted me the next day and we agreed on a date and time that would be convenient for him to give me an estimate and if I was ok with his estimate then he would do the job at that time. Mike was very punctual and I showed him the work to be done, we agreed on the price and he got busy. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. We have been using Mikes Handyworks for many years to perform many handyman projects throughout our home. While I believe Mike can do much larger projects than we have used him for , we have seen his photos, Mike has always performed above satisfactory work on every project ....he is easy to work with, reasonable, professional and punctual.

Mike, is great to work with, he is honest, straight forward, reasonable and able to do almost anything requested.
